KDL Painting

KDL Painting did a FABULOUS job!! They were very easy to work with, very professional, and did the work in the time allotted. We trusted them and didn't have any problems with them being in our house painting for 5 days! Everything looks wonderful and we are very pleased with our new painting!! They were extremely thorough with their work and cleaned up each day after they finished their work. I would highly recommend them and we will use them again if we have the need for more painting.

He did an excellent job. He was on time, professional, and knowledgeable and cleaned up very nicely afterwards. My house looks really nice and I would recommend his services to others.

Fantastic results, could not be happier! Kevin and his team have an attention to detail and it shows! Kevin even painted my back steps even though they were not part of the contract! The entire process from inital contact to completion was fantastic! Thank you for such fine work!!!!!

We had to reschedule our estimate a few times because the weather was not cooperating with KDL's other jobs but each time Kevin contacted me well in advance and worked with my schedule. He was great at communicating and was very courteous and professional. Kevin was also extremely thorough in estimating and putting together the quote the way I had asked (each room quoted separately). The estimate itself was very competitive. We did decide to go with another contractor this time but mostly due to timing. Both companies had equally great reviews. We would absolutely use KDL Painting in the future, I have no doubt that Kevin and his team would do a great job and I was happy to see that their pricing is competitive.

I can't say enough good things about Kevin. He is the ONLY painter I use, because his work is top notch, he is ethical, and really just a great guy. I have used Kevin several times. Most recently, Kevin painted my 20 ft ceiling, garage, exterior doors, some columns, and trim. He also repaired some stucco trim and painted it. Great work!

My project started out as painting and repairing the exterior trim on my house and turned into a paint job for the total exterior brick and trim. Kevin came out and looked over the job and gave me an estimate. And it turned out "right on the money"! No surprises, his company did exactly what I wanted at the quoted price! They scraped trim and replaced broken window panes and reglazed other areas, repaired down spouts and replaced missing trim areas, Once the project started they were in and out in 2 days. They left the property in great shape and dealing with Kevin was a real pleasure. I interviewed several other companies but I am positive I made the best choice for myself. I definitely recommend this company!

The provider responded promptly to my initial call, offered a very competitive estimate, performed the work within a reasonable time after acceptance of estimate, and the quality of the work performed was excellent.

I had 4 estimates done and Kevin was a little higher then the rest . the difference was he was more professional very detail with his estimate actually added all the work I was looking for in the estimate. I was not sure if everything was going to get done from the other ones.Even though he was a little higher I decided to go with Kevin because I felt more comfortable with him, that all the work was going to get done. it did take a little longer to get started on the project then we first talked about. once he did get started on it he finished it within the 3 days he told me he would and the the house came out wonderful he did every bit of work he said he would and then some I could not find a flaw in the whole house. the best thing I could say is be patient with him and he is worth the wait he is a busy man and you can't control the weather outside so please be understanding. the house looked great when it was all over.

I can't say enough good things about Kevin and his outstanding crew. Kevin worked with me due to our ever changing weather. Always emailing me, etc. So how did it go? Kevin came on Friday and pressure washed the house, concrete and deck. What an amazing job and no damage to my lawn or shrubs. He was very careful and detailed. When he returned the next week to replace the rotted wood, rebuild the deck rails and replace warped boards, paint and seal the deck, I expected this to be a week long job. There was quite a bit of work. I came home the first day of actual start of the job and Kevin and his crew had almost finished everything! My jaw dropped. These guys busted thier butts all day. By day two he was finished! I waited a while to write this just to make sure all work stood up. I am very pleased to say his work is outstanding! If you want quality, with attention to detail and a very fair price, Kevin is your man. I will use him when I need my house painted outside or inside in the future.

In March of this year, I chose 3 contractors from Angie's List for repairs and exterior painting to my home. One of the 3 selected contractors was KDL Painting. The reviews on Angie's List for KDL Painting were baffling to me in that it was hard to believe that there were not any dissatisfied customers. After speaking with Kevin Laird, I was so impressed with his professionalism, his mannerism and his responses to my questions about the job that I never called the other 2 contractors. Fast forward to June 16, 2014, Kevin and his crew arrived promptly at my home to start the work. They were punctual each day and the job started and ended as forecasted by Kevin. Kevin was onsite daily working with his crew and paying attention to detail to ensure QUALITY service was being delivered. There were instances wherein more in-depth repairs were needed to my home and Kevin's professional, open and honest communication throughout the entire process was commendable and truly appreciated, I LOVE the way my home looks now and I have received so many compliments! Thanks Kevin Laird! I sincerely recommend and applaud your services!!!

A few weeks after the initial estimate, Kevin replaced some rotted and split deck lumber. At my request, it was allowed to cure and dry for several months until the weather and conditions were right for staining. A few days prior to staining, he pressure-washed everything and then scheduled the staining according to the weather conditions, (rain was a constant threat.) He and his crew arrived on time and completed the job exactly as requested. Everything looks great; I'm very happy with the job. I would use his services again and recommend him to others.

Owner, Kevin Laird and crew of three arrived between 8 and 9 am on the three days it took for the job which consisted of both interior and exterior repair and painting. The interior job was minor repair of "nail pops" and cracks and was tended to by one of the crew who did an exceptional job. The exterior job entailed the painting of an upper level deck and large screened porch and a front porch, which contained a large amount of trim and pickets. All areas were covered in the event of drips or accidental spills, which there were none. The job was performed in a very professional manner, not rushed like they were in a hurry to finish and get to the next job. This company and employees take time to give the customer what they are paying for and make sure that you are satisfied with the job. I noticed that several times Mr. Laird would check not only behind himself, but behind his employees to make sure nothing was missed. In all, both me and my wife were very pleased with the work and intend to tell others who need painting services to call on Laird and his crew. When our home needs interior painting we will again call on him.

KDL contacted me after my request for quote, to let me know that they just received a very large commercial job and would be locked up until the end of July. My review is because they have to have great customer service and care build into the fabric of this company to do that. I say that because they didn't have to return a call or response to me, like many other companies do to customers, either because they don't want the job or its too far, etc. If, I still haven't found a gd company to do my job, I'll definitely be calling them back. It had been 8 years since the last painting and the carpenter bees had eaten my house every year and the siding was in terrible shape. Some window trim was rotting and every corner that had gutters was rotten. We needed help. I contacted KDL painting (Kevin Laird) to come and give an estimate on the work that needed to be done to our house. He arrived on time and took his time walking around and discussing different options I could do with the different type of problems our 35 year house had. I received a written estimate within 3 days as promised . I asked him to put me on his calendar to do the work. Kevin and his crew showed up as promised and started to work. As the work progressed I noticed the attention to detail Kevin and his crew did and how well they worked together. They all knew their jobs and they just did it. There was no cutting corners or covering up new problems discovered during the process. This was very refreshing. The house was finished and my wife and I were very, very pleased with the way our house looks and the quality of the work done by KDL painting. We will be using them again to do the inside painting and the pressure washing every 2 years. I highly recommend KDL Painting to anyone that wants a quality painting job at a reasonable price.

I didn't realize my review was not finished! I called KDL and they were very busy but sent me to Brad Abernathy to do this work. Brad is a contractor with KDL and does many of there jobs. Brad was able to accommodate our schedule. We have a 1500 square ft. condo with 11ft ceilings. At first we were not going to paint the ceilings and Brad did not push us to do the extra work. After some thought, we did ask him to paint the ceilings too. It was a good decision, and he did a remarkable job. Brad color matched our choices perfectly and the walls and ceiling were done flawlessly. I would highly recommend brad for any painting work. Sorry for the late review.

They were on time and did a great job. I will definitely use them in the future.

It was great! Kevin and his team were punctual, professional, reasonably priced and the condo looks great! We would definitely use KDL painting again and we have already recommended them to a friend.

Kevin responded to my initial call in a timely manner. The estimate was great. Due to family illness he was unable to do the work as planned. Kevin then referred us to another painter who was wonderful....Brad Abernathy. Brad came out gave an estimate and honored the original estimate that Kevin gave us. I cannot express how wonderful they were and how much my husband and I loved the job they did...staining the windows and painting and finishing the room addition that our contractors left in a mess. We will be forever grateful!!

WOW, we love the new look. Our house is 10 years old and was originally a plain white with black shutters. Kevin helped us narrow down our final color choice based on the color of our brick and stonework. He researched the appropriate trim color and deck stain. He is so helpful and wants to make sure you are really happy with the final outcome. When we bought this home last year it needed a lot of Paint TLC. Kevin completely repainted the interior before we moved in last summer. We knew he would be the only one we would consider for the exterior paint. Due to so much rain this last year we wanted to wait for just the right weather for the exterior work and he timed it perfectly. Kevin shows up with his crew everyday, on time and works full days till the job is done. He works right along beside his crew directing and inspecting the work. He addresses any questions right away and goes out of his way to help the home owner. For example he changed all of our flood lights while he was here since he had the tall ladders. In our situation the HOA was a pain! Even though they approved the color months ago they confronted the painter with questions about the color. Kevin patiently reviewed all of the paint cans, codes and colors with them to prove he was using exactly what they approved. All of our neighbors love the paint color change and keep stopping by to check it out. Kevin's work is worth the wait, if he is so busy your job has to wait a bit don't waste your time calling anyone else. . Thanks Kevin and crew for another fabulous job! We love the Makeover!!

Kevin helped me to get my home ready to go on the market in Atlanta. I am currently living in California so I wanted to be sure of using someone I could depend on to be there and ready to work when I came to Atlanta for a limited period of time to work on the house. Kevin replied quickly to my original request for an "over the phone" estimate on painting the house. He and I agreed on a date for confirming the estimate in person with me at my home and a start and finish date for the project. When I arrived in Atlanta, Kevin met me as we had agreed, confirmed the estimate and confirmed the paint colors. Kevin picked up all the needed paint supplies and started the work the next day. Kevin does repairs in addition to the painting, so it was great as I found things around the house that needed fixed and or painted, Kevin just added them to his list, picked up parts for me and saw that the work was completed to my satisfaction. This included items like readjusting closet doors, rehanging cabinet doors and replacing light bulbs and fire extinguisher batteries in our very very tall ceilings. He and his staff were neat, precise in their painting and cleaned up the premises when they left. I would have Kevin do any painting or repair job in the future.

Faced with the task of painting rooms in our home that are difficult to manage, I sought out the best company that I could find for the job: KDL Painting. I had originally contacted Kevin a year ago but had to postpone the job shortly before it was scheduled to begin. We rescheduled the job for Friday September 13th. Kevin and his team arrived on time as promised. They went to work immediately- moving furniture and appliances as they worked. My wife was at home during the entire process and they were finished, shortly before I arrived, 6- 7 hours later. I was amazed at the transformation. It feels like a new home! Kevin is very professional and it shows in his work. Just as impressive as their work was the fact that everyone was very friendly and polite. That really means a lot. I look forward to calling on KDL Painting to do more work on our home in the near future! Thank you Kevin!

As I read those reviews, I thought I actually knew the person. I told them that I felt, I could just picture them. The manner was warm, compassionate, very knowledgeable and very caring about their craft. I called him and spoke to him myself. I wanted him for paint but what happened was he said that he was just so backed up, you know with that weather we've been having in Georgia, rain everyday that he wouldn't be able to get to me and I spoke to him maybe like the end of June, maybe the first of July, he said it may be like August but he did referred me to someone but he was top of my list but he is booked.

Spoke with Kevin on phone asking for quotes. He came as promised and gave a great quote. He came when he said he was going to, did exactly what we had requested. You know how you can talk to someone in person and immediately feel comfortable with them? This is how my wife and I felt about Kevin. We actually had to leave, but we felt very comfortable leaving Kevin in our home with his crew. Extremely happy with the job done. Very professional and trustworthy!!!!! I definitely will recommend KDL to my family and friends and also to business associates. Believe me, there are still good people out there and Kevin is one of them.
