The team was timely showed up when scheduled. Provided the treatment to kill the weeds. So far so good, I have requested them to come back for a full years of service. I have been impressed with the overal price, and the responsiveness of the company. I spoke with Matthew in the office, he was very nice and very well informed answering all my questions and concerns I have. I appreciate it. Looking forward to a lush, weedless yard. Thanks Matt for all your help.

He was delayed several times and did not always call to say he was not coming. However, when we spoke he gave a valid reason and the service was performed and the yard looks very good.

$50 special for pre/post weed control and fertilizer. Due to volume of business, it took a while to get them out to my house, but they were very good about calling with updates on when they could make it. Time will tell if weed killer worked......

They arrived when they said they would. They did a thorough job. My yard has greened up nicely. I do have a few weeds left. I've since talked with them and we've worked out a regular treatment plan for the coming growth season. The work turned out great based on the emerald green color of my lawn. My interactions with them were fine. I was not here when the person did the treatment. I've since talked them on the phone and they were very polite. They just made suggestions and alternative plans for continued treatment. It was a pleasant interaction. They called me and gave me an estimate prior to coming out about ten days later. It was a helluva deal.

In addition to still having a yard full of weeds after they supposedly treated it, I still have not gotten a reply from 2 messages I sent. Very disappointing!

I still have a lot of weeds remaining. Their communication and professionalism was pretty good. There were no additional fees associated with the Big Deal, but I felt it was expensive.

I had nothing but problems from Weed Man from the beginning. On Sunday, February 1, a representative from Weed Man came by my house and asked if someone could come by to give a quote on fertilizing and weed control for my lawn. Since I was looking for a company to do this, I agreed and he said someone would contact me the following week. 3 weeks later I had not heard from them so I called and after searching their system they said my yard was considered unmeasurable. They said they had never heard of this before and would look into it. Later that day a manager called and apologized and said someone had been to my house and said there was no problem, so he gave a price and I agreed to let them proceed. The manager told me they would be out in 7 to 10 days to do the first treatment. 3 weeks later no one had come so I called the manager. He said he did not know why they had not already been out. He checked the schedule and said I was scheduled the next day. Still no one came. This happened 2 more times; scheduling and no one showing up. I called the manager back and he told me he could not give me an explanation of what was going on, so I told him to cancel my service. I would not recommend this company at all. Ronald Butler

Went well. They came when they were supposed to. Made a real difference.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was a good experience. They provided the services that we requested. We were satisfied with their work so we signed up for the yearly deal for maintenance. We didn't pay any additional for the service that was advertised. It did take 2 weeks to provide the service but it wasn't a shocker because it was a really good deal. They did come when they said they would.

They came and did the service. They left paperwork with a receipt and information regarding annual packages. I was kind of surprise that they didn’t knock on the door while they were here, but they showed up when they said they would and did the job. So far everything seems good and the price was reasonable.

The price was right and the dandelions have disappeared. Scheduling was a little disorganized. They missed the first appointment but followed up quickly and made it work for me. Angie's List deals kill the scheduling processes of some businesses. Person who interfaced with me must have been new because I didn't get much of a sales pitch when I asked about their other services.

The office called and scheduled a time for the technician to come treat our yard. The tech called and told us he would arrive at our location in about 10 minutes. It didn't take long at all for him to do the treatment. The office was very detailed and explained their other treatments when I called to inquire. I don't know how the compare to other companies but the services sounded good. We decided not to get the other services because we had other home projects we needed to get done this year. Still too soon to tell how our yard will respond to the treatments but they said they would come back and retreat if we found weeds at any time. They will continue with the second treatment in a few weeks.

That turned out great. They came out a week and a half ago. Scheduling went fine and they were able to email me back and let me know what day works for them. They did leave a message when they left the job letting us know what else they could do after for us. They called when they came and left. They were also friendly and asked if I had any questions I could contact them.

I am very disappointed. I took them up on a Groupon special to spray my yard for weeds. It was done 14 days ago and the weeds are growing and growing and growing. The spray they used had little or no impact on the weeds so I will apparently have to spray them myself. I am very disappointed in the results. The only positive thing to be said is that the price for the special was $27 and they came out fairly soon after my contact with them.

I am quite impressed with the prompt attention given to my request. Unfortunately, the Weed Man is not a "yard maintenance" service provider, they specialize in "weed control". I'll keep their number handy for future reference.

Got deal with groupon for weed treatment. Very professional and courteous. Did what they said they were going to do.

They called us right away and asked for my email address because they said they wanted to send me a thank you letter for purchasing the Big Deal. I was very impressed and pleased with how quickly they contacted us. I haven’t received any emails from them yet though. We gave them three estimate dates for the initial appointment. We haven’t heard from them yet regarding when the work will be done, but overall our impression has been pretty positive so far. We look forward to having the work completed and hope to hear from them soon.

Things went well in the pre-spring, spring and summer. However, in the early fall our lawn developedsome type of black mold. It also was damaged in several areas where too much weed killer was applied. Weed Man came out and took pictures of the black mold and promised they would figure out what it was and treat it. They promised to send the photos to the Agricultural Agent for analysis. After 3 weeks and no action but several excuses we sent our photos to the agent ourselves and got an immediate response with a probable cause (too much fertilizer) and a recommendation on what to use to treat the disease. By the time the treatments were started large areas of our fescue lawn were dead. Moss then invaded those areas and we now have large areas of moss in our once-pretty lawn, and there are no easy ways to get ride of it. Additionally, their billing/statements were often inaccurate, providing us with yet another hassle. We had to visit their office in person twice to get the matters rectified, as contact by phone did not work. I found their phone answering message irritating as well, as the polite, earnest-sounding woman's voice explained how Weed Man "Really cares for your lawn." I guess it did not apply to us.

They are very polite on the phone when you have to call. However, the assumption of continuing a one year agreement without personally speaking to me is not good business. Individual treatment prices are a little higher when I priced against others serving our neighborhood. The offer of a 5% discount for paying in advance seems to be standard, not unique. Most importantly, weeds have not been eradicated, and although they may pitch "we'll come back out and re-treat" should that be necessary? I have had to call several times during the past season, and most recently still have not received a return visit. Again, others offer the same service. It isn't bad, but there is much competition; why endure?

I greatly appreciated the detailed email I received that out lined services and pricing so I can decide what I want to purchase. The email also explained the timing of services for the yard so I can plan my budget accordingly. Very polite and reliable.

The service was okay. The only complaint that I had was it did not kill all of the weeds that I thought it would. They did do a good job with what they did. They were responsive and they came to do the work quickly.
