Weed Man of Roswell

Weed Man called me right away and was very punctual. They treated my yard and all of my weeds are gone! Followed up and made sure I was happy!

Went well. We got a coupon for a Big Deal for an initial treatment and we used it. Note, I used them only one as part of the big deal and saw weeds dying on the lawn. They had called for an annual contract but I did not take it.

The Weed Man called me the day after I purchased the Big Deal. He wanted to come out the next day, June 25, 2014. I told him that was not good. I was out of state until July 1, and I had to be there to show where I wanted the treatment, because I wanted it in the back yard, not the front. He agreed to come on July 2nd. When I got home on the 1st, he had already provided the treatment on June 25th. So my yard was double treated in the front and not treated in the back. I called, and they said they would have their quality man out the next day. He never showed. This company lies and disregards the wishes of its customer. If that's what you want, go ahead and hire them.

It was fine. They came when they said they would. They have come back since.

The initial treatment ( from the Deal) appeared to be effective in preventing weeds in the spring, so I signed up for future treatments. I was quoted $41.00 per treatment; the first one was billed at $45.00 I called to get it corrected, which they said they would do, but I still got two more prerecorded calls that I had a $4.00 past due amount. The next treatment was billed correctly and the past due calls ceased. The first treatment after the Deal treatment appeared not to be very effective. My Bermuda did not green up as quickly or evenly as in previous years, and a lot of small weeds cropped up. I called, and they sent someone to reapply the treatment (no charge), and then two days later another reapplication was done. I don't know if that was intentional or accidental, but it seemed to do no harm, and the new weed growth is gone. They also suggested that the slow green up and thin spots in my Bermuda were at least partly due to the harsh winter, and that seems reasonable. They suggested that aeration would help, but I declined since I've laid sod in some areas. The most recent treatment was about a week ago, and I see what appear to be tree sprouts growing in the fescue in my side yard, so I'll have to call them again. They are very good about correcting service defects, but not very good at getting it right the first time. When I've had other (admittedly more expensive) services, I've never had to request a retreatment. Our house is for sale, so we don't expect to be here through the end of summer. I'll keep them for the one or two more planned treatments, but would find a new provider if we were staying here longer.

It was fine. They just did the treatment. The people that were here were very courteous.

Purchased Groupon for services and after a number if used it in January just before (2 days) I moved out of house. I have no comment as to effectiveness or quality of service provided, as I no longer live at that address. Concern has been the insistent follow-up calls for additional services. I spoke to a rep after I moved out and told them I no longer live there, services not required. Getting essentially robo-calls from their number 678-990-8451 almost every day; automatic and leaves no messages. I am on the federal do no call registry, but these are coming all the time. There are many complaints about this number and telemarketing. It is for this reason, this annoying and harassing business practice, that I'm giving them a D.

I was not home to witness the applicaiton. I waited several days and was pleased that almost all me weeds and crabgrass was gone.

They stayed with the Big Deal price. It seemed like they did their work so they did fine. Their price was great and they responded right away to my email.

It was great. Some of my weeds didn't die because it rained shortly after treatment so a technician came back, talked to me about it and because it was beginning to rain again, scheduled another treatment for a few days later. He also gave me tips on correcting some legacy problems arising from builder debris burial in my yard. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were good. They came out on time and they were excellent. I thought I am definitely using them again. I used the Angie’s List special. I would definitely recommend them. They came out when they said they would and did what they said they were going to do. That was just what I wanted and I was very happy with them. To be honest, I used them to check Angie’s List out. The price was excellent. They were definitely great on responsiveness. They were punctual and he called me right before they got here. He knocked on the door and told me he was here and also let me know they were going, and gave me a little brochure. I told him I am going to use them again, and I have got them in my phone book.

Came when I was not home. For the first use of the company it would have been nice to meet and talk with them. I told them of my yard issues. They were going to recommend someone to me but did not. I feel it was a very impersonal experience. I am looking for a company to work with but I do not think this one is it. They also left a bill of $20 more dollars. They never called nor discussed this with me. Not cool.

They were really prompt and did what they were supposed to do.

They did not give me consultation about my grass being dead until i asked for it. They kept telling me to give it time, but I was tired of waiting so I started doing the work myself. I've been working day and night since to get my lawn in better shape. The work they did wasn't effective, and I am being generous with their grade.

Real good. They follow through and make recommendations. We are pleased. They are very prompt like if somebody comes and looks at the lawn, they call you and come right back or if you have any complaints they come back and re-treat. The price is reasonable.

It went fine. They did a better job ever than I did the year before when I tried to get them. I was very pleased and may use them again. They were professional. They were prompt. They were here when they said they would be. The weeds didn't all get gone, have to do it again, but I also think that was going to happen anyway. They were very good on price. I got them on a sale.

The lawn service man cam later the same day and used a large mower on. The lawn that had just been fertilized. Ruining the fertilization. The Weed Man came back several days later and spread the pellet fertizer again, at no additional cost to me,!

The phone was ringing for 15 minutes and not a single person even answered the phone. If I can?t even talk to someone to get a quote how to you think it would feel is you even hire this company,

I had plans for the yard, so the fact that it allowed me to schedule out about a month with three dates was good. However, they didn't use any of those days and showed up a few days later, unannounced.

I arranged for them to come out to treat my lawn and they were punctual and quick. They treated the yard on the front and a strip we have on the side of the house. A few days passed, the weeds slowly died, and now the yard is weed free. I initially thought that the weeds would die after the first day, but the herbicide they used killed them down to the root, so it took a few days. The good thing is that the weeds are gone and I don't have any additional weeds trying to re-emerge. They did a great job.

The treatment was fine - the sales calls after the service were annoying and when I declined their ongoing service the rep was not very nice.

I've been using Weedman of Roswell for about a year now, and my yard is looking so much better than before I started using them. I've had them do monthly applications of weed killer and fertilizer as well as seasonal jobs such as seeding and aeration. I think they do a great job, and they're very affordable as well. Overall, I would highly recommend for any type of lawn maintenance!

The service response was quick and seems to be very effective so far. Also provided other suggestions for problems with moss and adding a top coat of sand.

Everything went well and I very pleased with the progress my lawn is making now. I have been using Weed Man service for just a total of four months and I have notice a big difference in my lawn. My previous lawn care service did not provide me with the care and respect as Weed Man has. They are a very caring company that put their customer care first and I cannot say the same about my previous provider. They are always willing to listen to my concern and provide the information that I requested in a timely manner. I highly recommend Weed Man to anyone that?s looking for a trust worthy company that treats their customer with respect and concern. The best change I could have made for my lawn care service.
