I had an excellent experience with this company. I had to reschedule my appointment once due to my closing date being changed. This was not an issue and I was able to reschedule for the morning following my closing. Tomas was there waiting for me at my scheduled appointment time. I had planned to have all the locks rekeyed and told Tomas I was concerned about my french doors. He showed me a plate he could install on the floor with a sliding plate that will help prevent someone from kicking the doors in. He showed how it would work and be installed but there was not pressure to purchase this even though I chose to do so. I also had a locking mailbox for which I did not have a key. I had not mentioned this on the appointment call but he had the part on hand and replaced it for me. I would absolutely recommend this company.

I loved working with everyone at Unlockit. We just bought our home and wanted to change all the hardware from brass to oil rubbed bronze. They helped my choose all the right hardware. The installation went smoothly and everything looks great! I would use them again and would recommend them.

Estimate was given over the phone - cost is based on number of cylinders (keyholes) and a standard service charge plus 4 new keys were included. Appointments were readily available to meet my schedule. On the day of appointment, Tomas called to let me know he was running early and asked if he could start approximately 45 minutes sooner than planned. When he arrived in a well marked company van, he was professional and reviewed my needs (doors, locks,number of keys, etc.). He examined each door and lock to ensure secure and aligned. He lubed each lock and even replaced several loose fasteners in strikeplates. When completed, he reviewed the operation and periodic maintenance needs also reminding me that the levers I have are always operable on the inside, but may be locked on the outside (potential to lock myself out if not careful). 4 doors with 6 cylinders total and 40 minutes he was done. No mess and very pleasant with which to work. Highly recommend and would call again with any locksmith needs.

The entire experience went extremely smooth. The installer was on time and very friendly and courteous and answered any questions that I asked. I'm very meticulous in craftsmanship when it comes to home installations and this company came through on a high note. My 3 door frame protectors were installed with no problelms and they blend in with the door frames. Equally importantly, my doors are strengthned to protect against door kick-ins. I also had a deadbolt lock installed. The installer also left the areas spotless when the work was finished. Overall, I was throughly impressed with this company. Also, the ladies at Unlock it were a pleasure to answering any questions before my installation.

The workman arrived five minutes early, a pleasant surprise,. He was informative. efficent, and very pleasant to engage in dialogue.

I chose Unlockit as a result of their excellent Angie's List reviews. The lady who set up the appointments was a delight to work with and called back to check if the work had been done satisfactorily. Tomos, the locksmith who did the work, was - in my opinion - was a credit to the company. Pleasant, polite and professional. On the first visit Tomas re-keyed and fitted dead-bolts and repaired a lock. On the second visit he recommended and fitted two security devices on our ground-floor exterior doors.

It went excellent. They were super easy to work with. He showed up on a Saturday. He knew what he was doing. He took the time to fixing it so I would only have to use 1 key for multiple locks.

I needed to gain access to an interior room on a VERY important day, and I had VERY limited time. Unlockit came to the house amazingly fast, and the locksmith quickly gained access to the room for me. Because I was in a hurry, they even postponed billing till a later date and time. Every person was very professional and helpful - eg. the dispatcher, the locksmith, the billing dept, etc. I would highly recommend their service.

If you are looking to re-key and change your locks. I would highly recommend. Great service from the scheduling of my appointment. Thomas was prompt and on-time. He was done in less than an hour and gave us 4 Free copies of new keys for our new locks.

It went excellent. I called, was set up with a technician (basically at a moment's notice) -- despite that it was late afternoon and they had been having a busy day. They helped me out even though they don't normally come out where I live. Also, they even allowed me to use an Angie's List coupon. The people I dealt with were very friendly and thorough. Top-notch business that I would wholeheartedly recommend, as well as do business with again.

It went GREAT! I called them at 5:30pm, they scheduled the service for the very next day at 1:00pm. The service tech arrived at 12:55pm. He was very professional. I told him what happened, explained what we needed, and he got right to work. He was extremely nice and thorough. He re-keyed our locks in roughly 20 mins. He then asked me how many keys I wanted, and that was it. This is the classic situation where Angie's list paid off for us. I highly recommend Unlockit Locksmith & Security. Now I understand why this company has nothing but positive reviews! I called around 3:00 on Friday to set up an appointment for the following week. By 6:30, the work was done. Lynn called before to let me know Hadi was 30 minutes away as well as after to make sure I was happy with the work. Hadi did the work quickly and efficiently. He even lubricated all of the locks, advised me to do that once a year, and gave me a keychain with a hook so I could hang a spare by the front door. He tested and re-tested each key in each lock and had me do the same to make sure everything was working to my satisfaction. When I asked about one of the door security products I read about on their website, instead of taking my money, he told me I didn?t really need it with the new front door I recently had installed. That kind of honesty and integrity is extremely impressive. Both Lynn and Hadi were very professional, friendly, and courteous. I highly recommend Unlockit and will use them again in a heartbeat if I need any of their services.

We had a valet service loose our keys which included a house key. Now we had to change the locks in our house. I checked on Angie's list and decided to use Unlock-It. We set an appointment for early Saturday morning. Thomas arrived 10 minutes early and was very polite. He apologized for not calling first as he indicated his phone was not working. My husband walked him around the house and showed him the doors that needed the cylinders re-keyed. We had unlocked all the doors. Thomas asked how many keys we needed and key got started. Once he was finished, he informed us on proper lubrication for our locks. The whole process was about 1.5 hours. Thomas was efficient, professional and informative. We had a follow up call from the front office to check on how the service call went and if we were happy with the services provided by Thomas. We also received a letter a few days letter thanking us for using Unlock-It and requested us to submit comments via Angie's List. We would definitely use Unlock-It in the future if necessary.

They installed a new lock. They are nice. I liked them and am happy with their services.

I was pretty impressed with him. He was on time and the guy was knowledgeable. I actually had a door that he could not change the lock on. He was fast and courteous. He came the next week I called him.

From my initial telephone contact throughout the whole process it was a great experience. Tomas Rodriguez was an absolute professional locksmith and educator on lock maintenance. He is so professional that he is one of the best representatives for repeat business that UnLock-It could have. My month old granddaughter was with me and I was holding her; he was so professional and noise conscious that she slept through much of the process. He explained the need to perform routine lubrication, corrected some issues in lock placement that my home builder was negligent in doing. It was a great experience.

Tomas arrived about noon and I walked him around the office showed him what needed to be done. He took note after I gave him a piece of paper. I think you should always have a notepad but, that's not a deal breaker. he took his time check each door. Took apart the hardware and put it back. We tallked about what might need to take place in the future if what he had done didn't work. Very professional.

I just purchased a house and needed the locks changed. I call Unlockit on Tuesday afternoon, 1/31/2012 and spoke to Catherine who was extremely nice and answered all of my questions. When asked how I heard of the company I told them via Angies List and I was advised I would get a 5% discount. We set up an appointment for Wednesday, 2/1/2012 at 11:30am. Tomas arrived on time and was extremely friendly and very professional. He asked how many keys I would like and went about rekeying my lock. My front door didn't quite latch properly and he fixed that for me at no extra cost. Later that afternoon I received a follow up call to see how the appointment went and if I was happy with the work. I would definitely recommend Unlockit and will use them again if the need arises.
