The technician was very professional and polite. I also received a follow-up call after the services were performed to see if I was satisfied with the results. We had just moved into our home, which we bought from a contractor. Not knowing how many people were given keys, we decided to change all of our door hardware. I looked online and found Unlockit. They were advised of what we wanted and were very helpful and making a decision of what type of keys go go with. We chose MultiLock. On the day of the work to be done, they sent over 4 vans. This was quite helpful, since there were so many to change. They were very professional during the whole process.

We moved into a new house and wanted to replace all exterior door hardware, some interior door hardware and rekey all locks. Hadi came out to give me an estimate and also offered some advice on how to better secure the property. Tracy and he did a very thorough inventory of what hardware needed to be ordered and provided a written estimate for the work. The install took several days. Gil and his assistant arrived promptly and went right to work. They installed new deadbolts, door handles, hinges and a keyless entry system. All the work was professionally done and Gil made sure I knew how to program the keyless entry before he left. Tracy called at the end of each day to see if there were any issues that needed to be addressed and to be sure I was satisfied with the work. They are customer-oriented and I would definitely do business with them again.

Overall the entire experience was very pleasant. My appointment was made immediately for the next business day of my initial call along with a follow up reminder call. I just moved in Sunday and Hadi, the locksmith from Unlockit made my first time using a locksmith for a single family home an educational and comfortable experience. When he arrived, he did what many representatives of a business/company/service provider forget or don't do, and that is show some form of identification as an employee of the requested service company before entering your home while standing to the side so you can see their company vehicle . Hadi was very serene, professional and polite, as he took his time from door to door checking all the information given to him by his also professional co-worker Tracy. Tracy was my initial contact person that made sure all information was conveyed properly for accurate and prompt service. He didn't just come in work and leave. He explained to me details about my present lock and what the process is when rekeying a lock. Hadi was thorough and made sure I understood every step, product, and price. He was very concerned about my safety and took his job very seriously. He asked me questions to see my needs and wasn't trying to sale me a pitch or break my pocket. But after he heard my concerns, he wanted me to feel safe and shared with me about keyless lock from inside only. I got one for front and back door. I love this lock. They fulfilled all that they said they would and more. I utilized the 5% discount and he even reprogrammed my garage door. It didn't take long neither after double checking all the locks and all the keys which all copies and originals fit smoothly.I would definitely use this company again and recommend their services.

Unlock-It was extremely responsive to my inquriry and explained quite a bit in email. I was able to obtain an appointment on the day I needed it. The Office staff who worked on my inquiry and scheduling were very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous!The Technician arrived on time, was incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, courteous, and also patient with me during the training he provided me about reprogramming my keyless entry. a BIG THANK YOU to Unlock-It!!

I rarely write reviews but Unlockit is one of the most impressive companies I have worked with (period). I have used them several times in the past years and have always received exceptional service. Recently, I locked myself out of my file cabinet system and had to call them to open the system and replace the lock. Hadi (the technician) was terrific and honestly one of the most impressive servicemen I have met. He was punctual, professional, and provided high quality service. He made myself available on short notice on a Saturday. He was friendly and cheery. Most of all, I found him to be caring and someone who truly cared about his customers. I consider myself now a lifelong customer of Unlockit and, although I don't want to lock myself out of my next house/car/cabinet, I will know for sure who my first call will be to fix it. Marc Olsen

Overall, my experience was very good! Tracy was EXTREMELY helpful over the phone. Because I'm a first-time home owner, I didn't know much about locks and pricing and whatnot. She explained everything in very good detail, and I was confident with my decision to choose them over other companies. When Gil arrived, he explained to me what I should do in order to save money and get the protection I needed. He got to work soon, educated me in the process, and even threw in 2 extra keys for me. Even though I had to pay a little more than I would have liked, I'd recommend this company to anyone.

Due to a burglary that happened in my neighborhood, I took advantage of a coupon for reinforcing my door frames to prevent break ins. The worker showed up promptly and was very professional, efficient, and friendly. He let me know what he was doing as he went along, and gave me tips on how to reinforce the rest of my house. He also did a few extras for me at no extra cost.

We recently had Unlockit re-key all door locks (16 total) in a house we purchased. Outstanding service from the office staff and very accomodating for scheduling! Onsite, Gil was really effecient and super friendly/professional- did a fantastic job. As part of the re-key service, all locks were well lubricated and were restored to just like new. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and would highly recomend to anyone.

Fabulous... I could not have asked for it to go better!I called the company - they scheduled someone that afternoon - they called me after about 30 minutes and said they could get someone sooner than they thought - the locksmith was at my house within an hour of when I called.The locksmith identified the problem and worked through it, explaining everything he was doing. It was a tough problem so he had to work for a while to get the lock unjammed but kept me informed of everything he did. Once he got the inside mechanism loose, he replace it and was able to put my original door knob back on. He also was able to repair it so that I can use my original keys.I thought the locksmith (Hadi) was wonderful - professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and so willing to tell me what was going on every step of the way.The receptionist (Tracy) who originally answered the phone was wonderful also!I will be glad to recommend this company to everyone and if I need a locksmith again I will not hesitate to use them!!!Great experience from start to finish....

I called from Charlotte, NC so service could be performed at my mother's Atlanta home. Lyn was very informative and helpful by phone. She explained their process and pricing before contacting a technician. He was in the area and was able to go within 30 mins to the job location. Gil worked very long and h****** old doors with old locks before completing the task. I couldn't have received a better value or more professional service and will certainly call Unlockit again if their services are needed. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

They were very professional. I was satisfied with them. There was a lock that they changed and lacked some mechanism in door. Then I called them to check that and they tried to charge me for the initially if I had done it but in the end they didn’t charge me which was fine. Their price was reasonable.

angielist users are right with over 150 postive reviews, theses guys are great.i called unlock it on saturday and they came out the next following day 8am sharp. i explained what i wanted and hadi was very honest and explained step by step procedures. rekeyed all the locks, installed reinforced frame and door, and hadi went as far to tell me i needed window security to prevent breakin's. i am extremely satisfied with the company and will highly recommendto all my family and friends. 4 star a+ service all the way. if you need a locksmith, call unlockit!

I requested that Unlock It come out to my house after the closing. The office staff was very friendly and willing to work around my schedule. The technician, Gil, actually arrived before me due to traffic. After walking through the house to survey my requirements he set about the work. The work was complete in about 2 hours. He left the work areas clean and clear of any debris. I see why Unlock It gets such great reviews. Excellent experience.

I called Unlock-It on a Saturday morning, fully expecting to have to wait until the following Saturday for a repair. Instead, the woman I spoke with checked to see whether the locksmith would be in my area that afternoon and said that hopefully he could come by my place around 3:00 that same day. At 3:00 I was notified that the locksmith would be at my house in about 15 minutes. Gil arrived as scheduled and spent over an hour trying to figure out the lock problem and repair it. He told me to be sure to let him know if I had any further problems with the lock. The following Monday, I received a follow-up call from Unlock-It to see whether the repairs had been made to my satisfaction. I was very impressed with the woman I spoke with on both occasions (her name escapes me right now) as well as with the locksmith. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, and I'm glad I was able to find this company on Angie's List.
