He called to let me know he was on the way. When he arrived I ask about my storm door also which I had not mentioned to the person taking the work order. He said he was not sure he could fix it. I thought that was fair since I had not mentioned it to the office. He rekeyed the front and back door quickly and looked at the storm door. Called the provider the same day and spoke to a nice lady, Christina. We wanted a same day service to change a couple locks. Even though the schedule was booked, Christina was so helpful to contacting the technician and fit us into an opening on the same day. Did not charge extra. The technician arrived promptly and did a great job. Will definitely use their services again.

They were very professional. Showed up when they said they would. They rekeyed three doors to two new locks I had bought so that when we install them, they will all have the same key. The back glass door has an old, weird kind of lock. It would have had to be replaced, but he got it working. I thought it was permanently broken. So, I just had him leave it at that.

We'd had Unlockit at our home about ten days ago to install some steel plates on several entry doors, and change the lock on another interior door with access to the house. At that time, we inquired about the high security locks they sell, and decided to have one of those installed on the front door. The one with the finish we wanted had to be ordered, and yesterday Tracy called to let us know it was in, and schedule an appt at our convenience. I asked if they could do it today, since we planned to be at home all day, and she said they could send someone between 11:00 am and noon, so we booked it. Tracy called this morning around 10:30 to let us know their technician, Gil, was running late on another job, and would be about an hour late, but would come if that was okay with with us, and he did show up about an hour late. He was early for the previous appt, and it's understandable that sometimes jobs take longer than planned, but I appreciated them calling to let us know. He installed the new lock and made the additional keys we requested for the price that was quoted to us. I like this company because they don't try to see you things they don't think you really need. They are very professional and efficient, and though a bit pricey, well worth it when it comes to home security. I will use them again when needed, and highly recommend them.

They changed the locks for us on six doors and gave us plenty of keys too. They were very flexible on their appointment times and even sat in a bunch of traffic just to get to us a day early.

Went very well. Phone operator was very polite, and forthright letting me know that they had a lot of calls today so she couldn't guarantee a time when they'd be out (though she said they would give me a call 30 minutes beforehand to let me know when they were on their way). That was fine, and I let them know I was in no rush. They came out in about 2 hours time, giving me a couple of calls beforehand. The technician was courteous and professional. He had a bit of trouble getting the door open (the weather seals were apparently very tight), but in short time he had me back into my car. The price on this company was as low as any other I could find, and in fact the only comparable companies said $60 minimum. Do NOT ever get your car unlocked by a company unless they give you a solid amount. Otherwise, you will get ripped off (what you think is a $60 charge will end up being a $140 charge). It's happened to me before.

He changed all of the external locks on my new (to me) house, made extra keys for me, gave me an Angie's list discount. He was the owner and was so professional and courteous. I am someone who truly values fine customer service and he was really the cream of the crop in his professionalism, and his willingness to go above and beyond. His storefront assistant called me to confirm the appointment, and they followed up afterward as well. I cannot speak highly enough about this company and the owner.

Their initial point of contact Christina was exceptional and very friendly. I was able to quickly setup an appointment and the locksmith was punctual and professional. Their prices were very fair and I was able to apply an Angie's list coupon to reduce the cost. I would highly recommend them and will keep them in mind for future services.

Unlockit responded promptly to my service request to have one of their techs come to my home to add steel plates to all entrance doors, and change a lock. We also inquired about a high security lock for our front door, which the tech, Gil, had Tracy at the firm order for us. Tracy called me this morning to let me know it had been ordered, and we would get a call from them when they received it so we could schedule another service call. Gil was really good, and helped us decide what would be best for our needs and home. He didn't try to sell us anything he didn't feel was needed, which is always the sign of a good company to me. He proceeded to add the steel door frame plates to four doors and changed a lock to a more secure lock on the entrance door to the house from the garage. The services are not inexpensive, but they were reasonable and worth the cost to have added security for our home. These are very professional people who know their stuff and won't try to up sell you anything they don't feel is necessary. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and courtesy in every phase of this work, from Lynn who took my call and asked me exactly what we needed, to Gil who performed the work, and Tracy who promptly called back the next morning to let us know about the additional lock that they ordered. Well done!

The lock on an exterior french door had become jammed in the locked position - it took a lot of strength to get it back to unlocked position. Once unlocked, I called Unlock-It Locksmiths. Tracy in the Unlock-It office not only scheduled a convenient appointment time to install new hardware, but went the extra mile and located an out of state replacement when both big box stores carried only stock locks. And, happily when the Unlock-It technician arrived for the replacement install, he told me he had experience with many types of lock repairs - he wanted to have a try at fixing my existing lock! And, he did! What a great job - and how unexpected to not have to spend more for a replacement I did not need .... very nice work, Unlock-It !!

The person taking my appointment request was very pleasant, and got everything I needed just right. The person who showed up reviewed the work first, discussed options, made some good recommendations - some that saved me a few bucks, and then proceeded with the work. Everything was done perfectly the first time.

The locksmiths from Unlock-It were scheduled to arrive at 1:00. At exactly 1:00 they were knocking on our door. The 2 gentlemen were clean cut, professional, and polite. They did the work quickly and easily AND explained what they were doing to correct the problem with a couple of our door locks. It was a very positive experience.

Just moved into a new house and had them rekey the two entry doors. Scheduled for that Saturday, came when promised, called ahead, and in and out in less than a half hour. Great pricing, too!

Wow! What a great experience to have a locksmith arrive on time, assess the problem by listening to the homeowner, and then quietly repair the problems in a professional manner. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I called around 9 or 10am one day and asked if they could come out that day to change some broken locks for us. The receptionist asked why I needed them changed that day, and I explained that I could have someone at the house all day for them. She then moved some schedules around and was able to fit me in. She was extremely nice and helpful while on the phone. They could not tell us the exact time they would arrive, but were able to give us a good idea and then they called before coming. The man was very nice and asked if we would like additional keys made too. Not having to go to the store later was an added bonus. I would recommend them and use them again if needed.

Called them 3 days before my closing date and asked them to meet me that the house around 6.30 after our closing the seller was very strange and even if I was not moving in right away I did not want them to till be able to get in the house. Brent, the Unlockit Tech met me at the house at 6.30 pm. I told them it was 5 cylinders to re-key but we actually had 9. None of the keys were available so that makes it a little longer for the tech to re-key. I used to work in the business, so I am quite familiar with cylinders and keys, but Brent took the time to explain everything that he was doing and how the system will work, with 2 different keys, one for front door and one for the rest of the doors so if we need to give a key to a nanny, etc we can just give front door key and if we have to change it in future it will only be one cylinder. Since we had more cylinder that originally plan, it took longer, but Brent did not say anything and stayed until 9 pm and make sure all the doors were locking He even made a few extra keys for me. UPDATE: In August, I decided that the front door was not secure enough for me, so I called Unlockit again to add an extra deadbolt. Brent (the same tech as last time) came by and did a great job. We told him the wrong thing so he had to change teh deadbolt once it was install but he did it quickly and he was very efficient. I will use this company for all my doors/key/lock needs in the future

I came home from work to find a burglar had been through our house. Since we weren't sure if keys had been taken, we called Unlock-It to explain that we needed someone out that night to rekey our dead-bolt locks. I'm in Decatur and their business is in Roswell and I figured it was a long shot since it was already 6:30 pm but I called them anyway since they were at the top of Angie's List. I needed a business I could trust and I had no time to evaluate on my own, even if I had had the emotional resources to do so. The professional who answered the phone immediately put me at my ease, saying she'd see what she could do and would call me back in 10 minutes. She did and and told us that someone would be there in about an hour. The technician who arrived as promised was efficient and skilled and...with a reassuring manner after an upsetting experience. Not only was the price surprisingly low, our locks have never worked so well. Don't hesitate to call Unlock-It if you are in need of expert locksmiths who are clearly committed to empathetic customer service.

They locks work perfectly now, and we didn't have to replace them! I always appreciate feeling like I'm being dealt with in an honest way. They did a great job!
