They called and gave a specific time they would arive,he was on time and very polite and professional. he first checked all the locks and recomended two to be replaced and the rest rekeyed. He worked quickly and was very neat,he found the front door needed adjustment to close and lock correctly.After fixing all the locks he spent some time adjusting the front door to his satisfaction and made me an extra two keys. I will highly recommend this companyin the future.

The tech showup on right on time, re-keyed the lock and provided me 4 keys. The visit took approximately 15 minutes. He was right on time--called ahead to alert me that he was here. Very professional attitude. I would recommend them to everyone.

I locked myself out of my car at a nearby gas station. I had a family member come get me and take me to my house to look for my extra key. When I couldn't find it, I looked up this provider who got the top rating on Angie's list. However, when I called, the operator said she would call me back when she found out "if someone would be available". I didn't really like the sound of that but waited 20 minutes before I called another provider I found online. They were fast and efficient. She said, "no problem, someone will call you in a minute". I got a return call in less than 5 minutes and said he was on his way. I had to leave my home # for the first provider because my cell was locked in my car. When I returned, I saw that this provider had called back around 35 minutes after my initial call. By this time, the 2nd provider was nearly to my location.

I was definitely impressed with the company's prompt service and attention to detail. If applicable, I will use them in the future.

The bolt was really stuck, he had to work hard at it but finally he got it out. After about half an hour he was able to fix the problem. The door is working fine now. He did a great job. He was very courteous and knew what he was doing. This is very well run company. If they would all be like this then it would be wonderful.

I recently purchased a house and needed the locks rekeyed. Kristina set up the appointment and gave me a run down on the cost of services. The technician, Brent, rekeyed two deadbolts, replaced a third thumb-turn deadbolt with a keyed deadbolt, and replaced two doorknobs. He did the work on two separate days so that he could obtain doorknobs that matched the existing hardware. On both visits he arrived at or near the appointment time, was courteous, and worked quickly. The services were performed to my full satisfaction without any hidden or surprise fees.

From my first contact with Unlockit, they were professional and courtous. After talking with them, I decided to upgrade to a commercial lever deadbolt but declined the door frame protector - absolutely nothing was a hard sell - just options we discussed that I could choose from. I received a call letting me know Gill was on his and he arrived on time. The work was taken care of in a timely manner and clean up was impeccable. I feel the price was very reasonable - keeping in mind Gill had to drill throught our steel sleeve door to install a new deadbolt - for peace of mind. What I paid for in a new lock system is nothing compared to the security of our home. Without a doubt, I will use Unlockit Locksmith & Security in the future when I upgrade the locks in my rental house.

Prompt, efficient, tidy(cleaned up messes where new locks were added). We were pleased. Will use in the future. I don't remember exact date last fall is close enough.

I was VERY impressed from the beginning when I met with the estimator until the completion of the job. Everyone was very polite, responsive, professional and they knew what they were doing.

Our experience with Unlockit was very positive all around. All communications were professional and timely. I never had the feeling that they were looking to extract $$ from me, but just to do a great job at a fair price. When I told them I had found them on Angie's List, they offered the 5% discount right away, I did not have to ask for it. I had actually asked for a lock to be replaced, but upon arrival the locksmith said he could try to fix it and save me some money (which he did). I did compare quotes and Unlockit was the cheapest quote I got, but this was not at the expense of service. After the initial visit there was an aspect of the job that we wanted changed (basically just wanted the deadbolt throws to be in the same direction as they had been previously - the locksmith had quite logically changed them to match the direction of the handle locks). They came back stunningly quickly and made the change at no charge. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

A great experience! Technician called to give a ten minute warning on arrival. He was on time and professional. The work was completed quickly and I was pleasantly surprised with the price. I will go with Unlockit again for my locksmithing needs!

Rekeyed all locks in the house at a very fair price. Quite satisfied and would use again. Also Great, prompt communication beforehand via email have me the confidence I needed to move forward with scheduling.

They are always professional and show up when they say they will. Have had nothing but a plesant expierience with them and would use them again as I already have at least 3 times. I even used then them to install burgular doors at this property. Their price was very resonable.

Had door frame reinforcement installed after a neighbor got broken into. Unlockit was polite, prompt, and their price was much better than another company who quoted for the service. I feel much safer now with my secured door. Unlockit did great job and highly recommend!

For months the single sided deadbolt on our back door had been increasingly difficult to operate. I was home and sick with bronchitis on a very cold day, unable to operate the thumb turn at all. While letting our dog out I was examining the issue of the deadbolt. Unable to close the door due to the deadbolt being stuck fully extended, I tried adjusting it......with a hammer. The thumb turn popped out. Had to remove two screws to get the extended deadbolt off the door. I checked Angie's List and picked Unlock-It to call for help. I spoke with Christine on the phone. She asked how I heard about their company and I responded "Angie's List". At first she asked if Monday would be okay, since we do have a regular keyed lock on the same door. However, I had hoped to have he dead bolt operational that day. She checked, said they would. I was quoted a price of $101. and change. Christine phoned with updates until Brent, the service man, arrived early in the evening. He was professional in every aspect of his work and got the job done to perfection. He installed the new single sided dead bolt and strike plate. Now operating the thumb turn is as smooth as butter. We are well pleased. Christine contacted us the next day to make sure we were satisfied. This morning I called after checking the receipt and noticing the charge was $10 more than originally quoted. I called Unlock-It and spoke with Lyn who did some investigating while on the call and adjusted the bill accordingly. Again, we are well pleased with the customer service and this company's professionalism and courteous service. Also, on his way out the front door, Brent noticed that it did not "catch" the way it should, so he said he would adjust that for no charge! We had seen the door blow open in heavy wind just the day before. This is a great company!

Love this company. I first used them for rekeying my locks when I moved in. And I used them again more recently after an attempted break-in. They repaired my door frame and. strengthened it. I asked for recommendations on my other doors and went with their suggestions. They are very courteous, and I appreciated their willingness to schedule my repair quickly.

The technician arrived on time and was very professional. He re-keyed the door locks with no problem, made us 4 sets of keys for the the new locks, and even made a minor adjustment on the latching of 2 of the doors (at no extra charge). When the job was completed, the price charged was what I was quoted. I would definitely use these folks again, as they were very upfront and professional, and left no questions unanswered.

Unlockit did a good job. I was pleased that they offered Saturday service, which meant that I didn't have to take time off work. Gil was my technician. He was professional and courteous. I had locks on four doors that needed to be changed, and it took about an hour. It was raining outside, and Gil--without my asking--removed his shoes to avoid getting my laminate floors wet. Unlockit called on Monday to follow up and see how everything went. I would definitely use them again.

I was given two possible quotes -- around $80 or $150 -- depending on the work needed to be done. Gil called to give me notice he was on his way AND he showed up on time. The repair was made in less than ten minutes and he gave me a 5% discount for mentioning the Angie's List search I used to find the company. I know nothing about locks, but he showed me the piece that had failed on the inside of the lock and explained what he'd done to repair it. That was appreciated. After the repair, I asked about making my doors more secure and he took an additional five minutes to show me a product they could install to harden my doors. He went above and beyond what was needed to fulfill the job, and that is why I am writing this review less than 20 minutes after he departed. Great company and would highly recommend.
