Michael called almost as soon as I finished the request for a quote. He is friendly and presents himself as professional in the initial meeting. He did recommend contacting the insurance company and it's a good thing he did. As far as replacing the roofing goes, they did a good job, as far as I can tell. I'm afraid to get on the roof nowadays to see what it looks like. I'm pretty sure the "life time warranty" they sold me for $300.00 is not any better than the usual warranty provided by GAF. I would be sure to read the fine print. I am awaiting answers from GAF before I find out if the warranty is any good or not. The "interest free" programs are not actually interest free. He charges you $500.00 for this option. I definitely would not hire this company for installing vinyl siding. He had one person that seemed to have some experience and the other 2 obviously had no experience at all. If you do consider him for siding, go over every single detail before committing to anything. Things like what kind of joints they use, butt versus miter (on my house they had some of both and the miter cuts were very bad), if they will straighten out pieces that are not flat due to be rolled up, if they wrap any columns, will they have the seams and nail heads showing outward, where they are more visible to traffic, which is how they did mine, and it was not changed after I pointed out that it looked very bad and that I was not happy with the appearance. One can buy wrap kits that would have looked much better, but that was never mentioned. I wanted my carport posts (old wrought iron) replaced with vinyl posts in order to do away with having any trim to paint. Michael brought 4 x 4 posts. After seeing them, I asked what Michael thought about using 6 x 6s instead. He said if it were his house, he would use 6 x 6s. Imagine my surprise when I came home after he installed them, and an inch of the 6 x 6 was hanging over the brick ledge they were sitting on. Looks terrible. When I asked him about it, he pointed out that the beam at the top wasn't centered over the brick ledge and that it had to be done that way. I also wanted some kind of decorative base and top on the columns, and he told me they come in 4 x 4s, but not 6 x 6s, after he already had the 6 x 6s installed. In my opinion, a professional would have pointed out to me that it would look like that before he swapped the 4 x 4s for the 6 x 6s, he would have made mitered cuts only, not a mixture of different cuts around the windows, or at least point out that he intended to use butt and miter joints, and I wouldn't have had to ask him repeatedly to fill in the cracks in the joints with white silicone, and still end up with some that still have cracks. Maybe it was because this isn't a huge house. Maybe it's because he assumed a woman doesn't know the difference in quality work and poorly done work. As I said, they probably installed a good roof, but I definitely would

very good quality work and very nice people to work with, he came and give me an estimate and then met with the insurance company to get it approved and then he did everything he was supposed to do and did a very nice job. well pleased would hire him again .and would refer him to anyone.

He called me back in less than one hour to schedule the repair. He arrived at the scheduled time. He explained the cause of the problem, fixed the problem and it looks great. I would use Hammerhead Roofing again.

Hammerhead roofing did a great job on putting my roof on. showed up on ime and cleaned everything up. Great company.
