Needless to say we were very pleased with the quality of the work and its result. My wife has had zero complaints about the air quality and is sleeping much easier since the work was done. And the added attic insulation has made a noticeable difference in the rooms where the insulation was poor or nonexistent. During the process all furniture had to be removed and put back in place. Barry , the contractor was attentive and addressed each of my concerns. I would not hesitate to refer Soft Squared Restoration (Barry) to address any Mold Infestation for you.
Our house was flooded due to heavy rain. I called a few companies; no one wanted to give me a quote over the phone, several suggested calling my insurance company and filing a claim. I called Square Soft Restoration after 5pm and got the owner, Barry. He was on site in less than an hour. They moved all my furniture, extracted the water, and set some large fans and dehumidifiers up. The whole process took about two hours.
We discussed filing a claim with my insurance company, but based on the amount of work done and my deductible Barry suggested against it. He gave me a very reasonable price, and even followed up the next morning to be sure no more water had come in. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for good customer service and reasonable prices.
For the last few summers my air conditioner pan has been leaking in the attic. I've had it replaced, but didn't realize the secondary damage it caused. Whenever we walked into our house after being gone all day there was musty moldy smell. I knew there was mold in the house, just didn't know where. I called several companies out and reviewed the quotes, they were very expensive! There was no way I could pay almost $10,000!! Barry was one of our last quotes. Out of all the contractors who came out he was vey personable, provided a copy of his mold certificate, offered a one year warranty, and affordable.
Our appointment was scheduled between 8-10, they showed up at 8:30. They were finished by late afternoon. Due to the chemicals being used for the services, we made plans to be away from home. When we walked back in, WOW! My house smelt so good. I know smell shouldn't be the determining factor of how well a service was performed, but it was so refreshing.
Barry and his crew did such a good job. I checked all the vents to be sure they were really cleaned, and there was not even a speck of dust. My husband checked the attic, the beams looked brand new and the insulation was mold free. All the unpleasant smells are gone. It was money well spent.
