I called Overhead Door and they sent a repairman the same day. Technician was professional and quick. I used Overhead Door when I lived in Atlanta before, so, when I had a problem I called them. It's nice to know that they're providing the same excellent service that I received over 10 years ago. I'll never call anyone else.

. The installer was very prompt, removed and then installed the new door. It took about 3 hours for the work to be completed. The bottom seal did not seal do to uneven concrete. Overhead garage door sent somebody back with larger seal until they could not see any more light under the door. All work was done promptly.

I called Thursday late morning and they offered to send someone in the afternoon, however I was not available that afternoon. We set an appointment for the next day between 12 and 4 with a call 30 minutes before coming. The service technician made the 30 minute advance call and was here by 12:45. The work was complete by 1:30. The technician, John, was polite, professional and knowledgeable. John did an excellent job. The total cost matched the phone estimate.

My garage door had not been opening for a couple of months. I set up an appointment with Overhead Doors to take a look. The sales person was great. Explaining the problem and replacement solutions. The work was scheduled for between 8 - noon. The installer was late. He called about 12:30 and let me know he was running late, and arrived about 1:30. Work was completed quickly. Door is working great!

The overall experience was good. The repairman was prompt and completed the work in a half hour.

Spring on garage broke on a Saturday morning. Called on Saturday around noon and discussed the problem. TYhe person I reached on the phone was friendly and professional. They had someone out to my house by 2 pm. Jonathan was polite, knowledgable and replaced both springs and did routine preventive maintenance. He was finished in about an hour and a half.

I used them because they were the original installers and I've known other people who've used them before who are happy with them. They have a good website and I just like their service. They are prompt, courteous and I like the technician who came out. He's very nice and knowledgeable. The doors have been maintained and they get a lot of use and because the one broke he told me the life history of them and everything. I kind of researched them and asked him to go ahead and do it because I don't want to take the time off to reschedule in another 3 months when the other one breaks. One of the reason I really like them is they have evening hours. He came out between 4 and 8 and that was perfect for me. I get out of work at 3:30 and I'm home by close to 4 and there was a window between 4 and 8. He called me when he was on his way. I would use them again in the future.

When door was installed the 2nd panel was dented on the inside, and creased on the outside. This is a top-end dent-proof door. Scheduled to replace 2nd panel from noon-4:00 p.m., closer to noon. At 5:15 p.m., had to call to find out where the technician was. He arrived at 5:30 p.m. John (sales) was very knowledgeable and responsive. I expected better service and quality from the premier garage door company in the industry.

Came out on Xmas eve. Very professional.

It went fine. One of two springs was broken and they recommended replacing both with one larger spring. While here they also serviced the door by lubricating the parts which resulted in it being much quieter than before.

The service technician who fixed the broken cable on our door was EXTREMELY helpful, considerate, and explained our issues and alternatives thoroughly. I felt that the service provided was top notch, and the expertise of Paul Williams was evident. I felt confident that we received the recommendations we needed, not services or recommendations that would line the pockets of an unscrupulous company. Thank you for making this a pleasant experience - at least as pleasant as an unexpected expense like this could be! The date of service and cost are estimates as I don't have the paperwork in front of me at this time.

Our previous door was old and rotting. The company gave me an estimate and had a new door in within 2 days. Prices were very fair. Everyone was nice and professional. I would highly recommend them.

Overhead Door's responsiveness is not great. It took several days to get a sales person to give me a quote. The sales person indicated that installation was available on a specific day in the morning. I agreed and placed the order based on the agreed installation schedule. When the installation/service department call to actually setup the appointment, the only time available was 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. I expressed some concern that the installation would not be complete until into the evening if the installation started as late as 6:00 PM. The scheduler clearly stated that they would not let that happen. This was a complete lie. The installation was complete around 8:30 PM. The overall quality of the installation was at best average. The only real positive was that the factory paint color was a very close match to my home. Overhead Door charges a premium price, but delivers service that is not much better than average.

My tenant called me to tell me the garage door wasn't working. When I looked at it I could see the cables were hanging loose and some other issues, but at least the door was open. Overhead Door came the same evening I called. Went to meet them after work and all the work was already done and the door was in perfect working order. Was expecting the worst since the door is over 15 years old so when I got the bill for $156 I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend the Overhead Door Company!

Replaced worn parts on 2 garage doors on short notice (same day that I contacted them to examine the doors) after another Angie's List company failed to keep a scheduled appointment for the work.

I was totally fed up with my door, I was having to manually open and close it. I picked up a brochure for Overhead Door, I called them and they gave me a figure. I thought it looked high so I gave them a price I was willing to pay and they finally took it. Whether it was a good price or not, I don't know, I didn't shop around because I just wanted to get it done. I did check Angie's List and they have a good reputation. They have also been out in the past to do maintenance to my old door. They did a good job on the door. The installer screwed up so I called and he came back and corrected the problem. Another time I had a problem with the paint sticking and it ended up not being a problem, they wanted to charge me so I argued with them and they didn't charge me.

At 11:00 am, the spring on my garage door broke while I was trying to open the garage door. I checked out this company on Angies List and called them immediately. The repairman was at my door by 1pm. We are putting our house up for sale soon, so he took this into consideration when giving my options and recommending repairs. After discussion, I decided to replace both springs. He arrived quickly, finished the job quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend this company again.

The service tech, Stan, was professional and punctual. He also took the time to explain the problems and we discussed options before we actually repaired the doors. I felt pricing was fair and his work was quick and neat.

Technician arrived on time, got right to work, and was done in half an hour. Was friendly and courteous.

I just bought a 4 year old home that sat vacant for the last year. The garage door would reverse unless the button was held down until it was completely closed. Both doors also appeared to be off track. The service tech arrived on time, explained everything he was looking at, showed me the parts that needed replacing and explained why. Overall great experience. I would use again.

I called after hours to schedule an appointment. They called back first thing in the morning and made an appointment for that day. The technician (Chad) came in the scheduled time window, explained what would be done, what it would cost, and how long it would take. Afterwards, he showed me the work before asking me to pay. I've used this company before and have always been pleased with them.

Good. I've used them once for a service call and it turned out good. So based on that and many good reviews here, I decided to use them again. Scheduling for estimate was easy. Came out for estimate and I decided on what I wanted. Scheduling for work was quick and easy as well. Scheduled work to be done 2 days from the day of estimate. One man crew but he did an excellent job. Never thought I would care so much for a garage door. But compare to what I had, which works sometimes, heavy, loud, and offers no insulation. This one is an awesome upgrade. The belt-driven opener is quiet and you can't even hear inside the house. The insulated door really does make a difference. It can be easily noticed inside the garage. It's no longer as cold as outside. It's only been a week but it seems it helps inside the house as well. So large part of it is due to the quality of the products. But the installation is great as well. All the support and infrastructure look great from what I can see. Service guy took care of everything including hauling the old stuff away. Good attitude as well. No problems. The only minor thing I don't like so much is how much it costs: $1700. I did not shop around so it may not be a fair assessment at all. The opener itself is $400 (way more compared to HomeDepot's.). But you get what you pay for. I should have at least get another quote from another good company here but I didn't. At least I know if anything should go wrong with the door, I can trust Overhead to come out and correct it. If you think it is too much compared to another great servicer, please do let us all know.

Service was really remarkable. At approximately, 6:45 a.m. I tried to open the garage door. It would raise about 2 feet and stop. I had used Overhead once before for service, but that was about three years ago. I sent them an e-mail at 7:00 thinking I would call them at 8:00 to set an appointment. Lo and behold, by 7:45, I had a message back that they would come out right away. Richard showed up at 9:50. He reviewed the situation and knew right away that it was the gear. He gave me two options, to fix the gear, or replace entire motor. I opted for the replacement. He was very professional. I was impressed by his technical knowledge and determination to get everything fixed and working well. I would definitely call them again. You just cannot get better service. I assume the price was reasonable. I even got a $10 discount for booking online. I have never had better service.

I called around 11:30 and a technician was at my house two hours later. He called when he was on his way and arrived about 15 miinutes after that. He said the problem was the carriage screw and was able to repair it in under an hour. He also serviced the door while he was there. Both he and the office staff were very polite and professionq, and I was impressed with the prompt service. I would definitely recommend this company.

Scheduling was a breeze, the technician did a great job, and the garage doors work much better now.
