They did a great job I had them 10yrs ago for the hardwood floor on our downstairs. Very professional they came in and they got everything done the same day no problem at all.

They installed the door properly with the reasonable amount of time. They did great and good customer service.

They then mentioned that they mis-quoted and forgot a window and they were just going to raise the quote about $900. They then called and mentioned that they would do the service anyway, since it was the guy who quoted us in the first places’ fault. Then they called back about a week later, after they charged our card and then mentioned that they would not be doing the work. The reason why I would give them an F, for mis-quoting, then telling me they would do the work anyway, and then canceling the job after charging my card. Also once one of their guys showed up to my home without calling or without having an appointment; he showed up literally out of the blue.

At Home Depot everything stays in the same spot, the quality is very good and if there are any questions they always answer. Children’s department is phenomenal at both locations, the staff is professional and punctual and their facility is well maintained.

The people before us had new cabinets. I hate to say this but I think a man designed the kitchen and he didn't know how to cook! I used to have very large kitchen cabinets. They were deep and they were wide and you could put your cooking paraphernalia in there. These were beautiful, and in style - they were black with long handles. They were so small you couldn't really get your plates in there! The cabinet itself had the bars going down the middle, support bars, and they were 3 inches wide and unnecessary. We had those braces slimmed down. None of the cupboards had rollouts in, so we had them put in every place you could put rollouts. They are custom made by Home Depot. We were in there picking up supplies - we've been there so much we're on a first-name basis! We had a guy come over and ask us if we were interested in doing something with our cabinets, so we had him come over and give us a quote, and they gave us a very good deal. Two men came and they had their orange bibs on. They were very thorough and gave us the whole run down, all the different colors and what-have-you. How it was made and where they came from. The cabinets are just great, they are beautiful. There are a lot of cabinets and a lot of cupboards, pullouts everywhere, the drawers fully extend out, which is great. The plates do fit and we've even got a couple of empty shelves! They came here and did an excellent job. They were very polite and on the job every morning, and it only took one month from the time the order was placed. They built the drawers and things here, so all the design stuff took about a month to get ready. They cut out all the panels in this beautiful wood.

I like Home Depot. The store is pretty friendly and they have a good selection. I will continue using them.

They were great. It was better than I expected. They were very helpful and very patient. I asked them if they knew when some cabinets that I wanted would go on sale and they told me so I wait to take advantage of the sale price. They were also very helpful with the installation of everything.

My overall experience with them was fine. The gentlemen that was working in the paint department was very thorough in explaining which one to buy and how much I needed to buy.

I stopped in at my local Home Depot for a quote. I have odd sized windows and cannot do replacement windows (aluminum frames). Therefore I had them 'run through the ringers' with 3 different sets of quotes from 3 manufacturers. I came in with a list of window sizes, described what I wanted, and the called back in 2 days with the quote. It's a bit of work to get essentially 60 quotes. I have not had the work done yet. I won't use Home Depot now for other reasons.

This was a DISASTER!! When the carpet was installed, the contractors arrived 2 hours late. They spoke almost no English, so communication was next to impossible. They left a mess all over my floors and garage. During the ceramic tile installation, the contractors (who also spoke very little English) tried to hustle me for an extra $95.00. They said ''it will cost more to do this work..I can do it..cost is $95.00..pay me cash..don't tell Home Depot'' They also took (purposefully or not)$50.00 of my tools. For the hardwood installation, the workers showed up without their nail or staple guns! I called Romanoff and they were very unresponsive. I then called Home Depot and cancelled the remainder of the job. Home Depot has gone so far downhill over the past few years. Their store employees are not helpful and, at times, outright rude. This is the last straw for me. I am canceling my Home Depot card account. They have just lost a customer.

Very Disappointing experience. Three appointments were scheduled with the Merchants Walk location to have a room measured for carpet installation, and no one ever showed up. When I called to find out why my appointments were being missed, the Home Depot rep. said that the the computer records showed that the measuring company had called me to confirm the appointment time and no one was home - for all three instances. This was NOT TRUE, so I spoke with a manager, and after contacting the company that actually does the measuring services for HD, we discovered that Home Depot's computer program was not linked to the contractor's, so my appointments were not actually being scheduled with them. Therefore, the Home Depot rep LIED when he claimed that the records showed that Measure Comp had called me with no response, rather than researching and finding out the actual problem. Very upsetting.
