Sunshine Window Cleaning

I called around 1pm to inquire about getting an estimate for gutter cleaning on my house and my friend who lives in the same neighborhood. The gentleman on the phone gave me a rough estimate based on the square footage of both houses (about $135-150). He said if there was an opening the team might be able to come out today and would call me in advance. The team called a little after 3pm and said they would arrive in about 15 minutes. The arrived on time assessed the house, provided me with an estimate and began working. I was leaving to run an errand so I gave them directions to my friends house in case they finished before I returned. When I came back they had completed my house and were assessing my friends house to begin working. They provided me feedback on a few problem areas they discovered at my house; likely due to improper gutter installation and how to correct it. The completed my friends house and provided feedback as well. They were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, punctual, and clean. I would definitely use them again and refer them to others.

We've lived in this house since the summer of 2005 - and had never had the windows professionally cleaned. The time had come... I received a card in the mail advertising a JAN/FEB 20% off special. On Thursday, 18 Feb I called to make an appointment. Their docket was full through the first week in March, but they agreed to honor the discounted offer in early March and we booked an appointment. I asked for my name/number to be added to a call list in case another customer canceled at the last minute. The next day, they called to say someone had canceled for the following day. We agreed to take the slot for Saturday morning, 20 Feb. Our initial request was to have our windows washed. When the guys arrived, they pointed out how badly in need of a pressure wash our house was, too. They said they'd be glad to "just" do the windows (and skip the pressure washing) but we'd get better results if we pressure washed first. By just doing the windows - the dirt on the house near the windows could "smear" as a result of their thorough cleaning of the frames and sills. We agreed to the pressure wash first. We are glad we did! The house and windows look fantastic. Upon arrival, their standard practice is to perform a detailed window count and create a written, to-the-penny invoice/work order. The guys did this. Ours looked like this: Windows (approx 50, varying kinds - some paned and some not, etc): $304 Pressure Wash: $350 Subtotal: $654 20% discount applied Total: $523* *I asked if they would do it for $500 - and they agreed. The quality of work was excellent! Both guys (Chris and Phillippe) were professional and courteous. This fall we plan to have our rain gutters replaced. I'm sure the windows will get dirty because of this, so I intend to have Sunshine Window Cleaning back again to get these windows nice and clean before the holidays!

Nathan came out the same day I called to give me an estimate. He was very courteous and professional and explained what exactly they would do. On the day of service, they were on time and actually called 30 minutes ahead of time to let me know they were on their way. The job they did was very good - the roof and gutters look great. Nathan even tightened-up a couple of loose spots on our gutters. He and his helper were very professional and thorough. They cleaned up all the debris they removed from the gutters so there wasn't a big mess on the ground around the house - like I have experienced with other companies in the past. The office staff that I spoke with on the phone were very pleasant and professional as well.

We could not have been more pleased. We contacted them on the Monday before Christmas and they were able to fit us in 2 days later. A very profressional team of 2 arrived mid-afternoon and by dark, all of our windows were sparkling clean. It looked like a new house! We also received the 5% Angie's list discount. All of our windows are subdivided into multiple panes for which they charge slightly more but we still found the price very reasonable. I would recommend this company to anyone and will use them again.

Workers were prompt and thorough - got my money's worth.

Marshall and his partner arrived exactly on time, gave me a quote that closely matched what I was told over the phone when I scheduled the appointment. He was very polite and professional. After I signed off on the estimate, they first sprayed down the house with a strong, chlorine-based solution. After that was applied, they let it soak and then rinsed it off with water. It didn't take more than 1.5 hours. Our house looks phenomenal! We had green mold growing on parts of the vinyl siding, making the house look rather dirty. Very pleased and plan to have this company back in the spring after pollen season.

First off, must say husband (who was against this work) was amazed at the difference said"Wow,you were right, we should have had this done years ago!" We have a brick home in the woods, was very mossy and cruddy. Sunshine did a FANTASTIC job on the brick (did not knock the s*** (color) off the brick - wonderful! They blew the leaves off the deck - then power washed it. Very courteous, hard working crew - Andres was the lead man. Other worker was good too. Very pleased with the work, would use them again. Oh, the young woman that scheduled our appointment was very organized and eager to get us scheduled at a time that worked for us.

The crew of two lead by Hugo did an excellent job cleaning the exterior of my home. My home looks like it was painted with fresh paint. I am very happy with the job and the crew's work.

With heavy rains over the past several weeks, we were having a problem with water coming in under our french doors. Water was pouring over the gutters and splashing into the french doors, so I knew the gutters needed to be cleaned. Wanted to have work done before we left for vacation in a few days. Sunshine went out of their way to accomodate our urgent schedule. They called before coming, confirmed the estimated price after seeing the size of our house. They hand scooped and bagged debris then blew gutters out. They also tested all downspouts to be sure they weren't clogged. Work was completed quickly and cleanly. They were polite, professional and informative. They suggested we install gutter guards and gave us a quote.

Much debris was blown off the roof and out of the gutters. It definitely needed to be done before the leaves start to fall. Screens were replaced as needed. While on the roof they found an uncapped vent which needed work. I much appreciated this information. Since the roof is steep we needed professionals for this job. I am looking forward to the first rain to see the cleaned gutters in action! This is the first time I have hired someone to pressure clean the house. The chemical (bleach) used was very strong and removed the green stain on the siding. Unfortunately I noticed after they left that the bleach runoff stained the driveway (not a big deal) and a lower roof over an addition (this is in the back and not easily seen), and it also killed the fish in a small pond which I had covered. I did not get my driveway washed; I think if I had it washed it would have taken care of the staining. The fish were in a submerged pond over which I had placed a large plastic container. Since it was level with the ground the runoff probably came over the lip of the pond. The pond plants did not seem to have any ill effect so probably a small amount of bleach actually came into the pond. I do not think this is necessarily a reflection of the company, just the product used and my lack of experience. Next time I will take precautions and either move the fish or cover more securely. As far as the stained roof, I do not know what could have been done to prevent that from happening. It did not happen to the upper roof. The lower area was probably exposed to more of the chemical. Since work was done yesterday, perhaps after the roof dries the discoloration will not be as noticeable. They spent extra time on a heavily weathered wood door. It looks much better. The screened front porch looks very clean and the deck is ready to be stained. The siding on the house looks great and I am glad to have had it done, even with some of the unexpected results.

They were a very large company and specialized in window cleaning. Overall I liked them a lot. I had a couple of issues with them like missing a few paints here and there. We have a very large house and they sent more than one person to do the job. For the most part it was very good except that we had issue with one of the people. I would use them again.

They did a great job and their price was reasonable. They came out even though it was raining with the anticipation that the rain would stop, which it did, so they keep up on the weather as well.

I found Sunshine Window cleaning on Angie's List when I moved to Atlanta three years ago. I've continued to use them several times a year, and every time they delight and surprise me with their professionalism and detail to work. Thanks!

Sunshine arrived at our newly purchased foreclosure on-time and quickly gave an explanation of all that would happen that day including a detailed overview of the pricing (per window, per foot of gutter, etc...). Then they set to work. This home had not had any attention in what looked to be years, there was actual grass and moss growing in the gutters, the porch had more mold than paint, the deck looked to be made of mud. The guys from sunshine cleaned the gutters first and did a thorough job, some times going back over them 3 or 4 times to give them the extra effort they surely needed. The downspouts were blown out as well. The pressure washing was the big winner, the mold is gone and it looks like we just painted, it's unbelievable, the deck looks like it's new wood waiting to be stained. It was incredible. The window washing was done well, including showing us where seals had blown on some of the double pane windows, so washing would still not give us a clear view. Overall, I will be seeing them again one day. Excellent experience.

Called on 7/9/2009 and they had an opening for 7/10/2009, original estimate over the phone was $300, but I did tell her that my driveway was probably longer than average since my garage in on the side of my house and extends out slightly more and it hadn't been cleaned in about 5 years. They give an exact estimate when they come out and then get approval to do the job. They worked for 2 hours cleaning and the areas are so clean, all of the mold, etc is gone. They did an excellent job, I could never have done this myself.

The technicians arrived on time and were very polite. They performed the work in an exceptional manner and did a few extras, such as cleaning cobwebs and patio furniture that I did not expect them to do.

Excellent service from start to finish. The office efficiently scheduled the cleaning for the day I wanted. They called before showing up, as promised. Two workers removed all screens, wiped them down, and cleaned the windows, sills, and surrounding window frames. I don't recall their names but the workers initials were AC & GL on the invoice. One worked inside, and one worked outside. They did a good job of rechecking that everything was put back in place before they left. Spoke very good English, very polite, very courteous about using booties to cover their shoes indoors. I used a different company for the last two years and this was a much better experience. I liked having only two people here -- one inside. The other company had three people in the house, which can be a little intimidating and worrisome. Best of all Sunshine's price was $6.00 per window in comparison with $9 per window at the previous company. I asked for the Angie's List 5% discount offered, and sure enough the cleaners already had that noted on the invoice.

Very well no surprises with this company.

They were about 15 minutes late but traffic was bad that morning. They were quick and efficient, and told me about a couple of window issues that I had but didn't know about. The windows were pretty dirty and now they look terrific. They did forget to factor in the garage door windows, so that added a little cost that was not included in the estimate. But I would have chosen to go with it anyway.

Two representatives arrived on time explained the services they would be completing. They reconfirmed the price quoted and then deducted the Angie's list discount. They were very professional and did a great job. My windows, ceiling fan and chandelier look great!

Michael and Steve arrived right on time at 8:30 am. They provided a detailed estimate for the work described and were given the go-ahead to do the work. They took their shoes off while doing inside work and moved all furniture, replacing it when finished. The outside work was done very efficiently, even though there was still snow on the ground and deck from our recent snow storm. All work was finished before noon and in a high quality manner. The windows are sparkling.

They did a great job. I had a 20% off coupon, so it didn't cost as much. They cleaned the gutters well, and cleaned up after themselves. They called before they came and came when they said they would come. I was very happy with them, and will use them again.

This company was extremely professional from start to finish. They provided a thorough explanation of their process during my initial call, and they followed through exactly as stated: rough estimate via phone then on-site confirmation of charge before any work was done. They were at my house within two hours of my call, even though we'd agreed their visit could occur any time that week. Excellent work!

Michael & Adrian arrived on-time, competed the windows in the order I needed them in order to prevent conflict with with office tenants. They did a great job. They had done the windows of my house the month before.

Pressure washing was done first. Marshall was outstanding. Did a very good job in some pretty lousy weather conditions, but he was nothing but pleasant before, during and after his work. I'll ask for him by name next time, for sure. Windows had to wait until the rain stopped...Sunshine came on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The crew of two arrived late afternoon (3:00), which had me a little concerned that they would not be able to finish before dark. I needn't have worried as they also did a superlative job and left no mess. Great work!
