I purchased my home from a previous owner in 2006. Two years ago, I learned the siding on my house had been part of a class-action lawsuit. Painting it was not recommended; it's known to crumble. Now that my house badly needed new siding, I obtained three estimates. Siding Unlimited was one of the three. Arnie Conman, the owner called and personally spoke with me. He sent out his crew chief to provide an estimate since he was out of town. The representative was punctual for our appointment and performed a visual inspection of the house. He was very easy to talk to and practical about the work that needed to be done. Mr. Conman communicated with me right away to discuss the estimate and specifics. Siding Unlimited's estimate was the most economical by several thousand dollars. The work was begun right away and completed in a little over a week. Mr. Conman communicated with us at each step, completing the inspection on our schedule as well. The work was exceptional. We had only one concern regarding the estimate versus the final total (due to repairs that were done), but Mr. Conman worked with us yet again to make sure we were satisfied with the work and cost thereof. I would highly recommend Siding Unlimited. It's rare that one of the top rated companies has such great customer service and the most competitive rates.

The estimate was given and I was disappointed to find everything listed separately. I have no doubt he does good work but when I have a quote for a job having a range as large as he gave me is disconcerting from a professional.

I was hoping that the project would be started soon after I signed the contract, but it was delayed for a few weeks. Once the project began, the workers were punctual, professional, and did a nice job. They cleaned up the whole area around the house and the owner was courteous and wanted to make sure that I was pleased with the finished job.

Arnie, the owner, was very attentive to the special quirks of our job with the addition to be sided not quite square, plus other water drainage issues . He and his siding guy made a special trip out to our house to figure out an ingenious way to proceed. I was also impressed when the siding guy got up on a ladder to check for rotten wood trim on the rest of the house and, when they didn't find any, the cost of unnecessary repair was not included in my contract price. When I had a question mid-job about the siding, Arnie came back out with the siding guy and helped to figure out a solution that the painter could implement regarding caulking. His painters were thorough and went the extra mile to discuss the specifics of our rather complicated job. They also did little extras like caulking the inside of a leaking gutter seam. Arnie always addressed my concerns promptly and courteously. He is an old-school businessman who treats you like "the customer is always right", never getting annoyed by all my questions. (It was the first time I used them so I had a lot of concerns and questions.) I felt he gave me an honest estimate and stuck to it. I would use them for future projects in a heartbeat!

Arnie the owner and coordinator was very responsive and attentive. He treated us with respect and profesionalism. We had some unforeseen issues with the underlying wood and he was quick to guide us to a repair contractor which was as efficient and honest as Arnie was. These people were a delight to work with. They quoted a price and stuck to it even though there were some outstanding issues that interrupted the job and increased expenses. Arnie did not charge us any extra and kept to his promise to give us the best quality job in the business. I highly recommend this company.

The masonite siding on the chimney and one side of my house was rotting and needed to be replaced. I was also having problems with woodpeckers making holes in the siding on this side of the house. I obtained 2 estimates from Angie's List providers to have either the siding on only the chimney replaced or the siding on the chimney and side of the house replaced. Arnie Conman from Siding Unlimited promptly returned my call and scheduled an appointment to provide an estimate. He called before he came and arrived on time. Arnie gave me estimates for the chimney, chimney and side of the house, and entire house and took the time to explain to me what was happening with my current siding and the process for replacing it. He called me back a day or two later to see if I had any questions or needed any additional information. The other company was also prompt and professional with their estimate. I decided to use Siding Unlimited for a few reasons. Their estimate was competitive and they had replaced siding on other houses in my neighborhood. In addition,, Siding Unlimited recommended Hardiplank siding. The other company that provided me an estimate indicated that they would use Hardiplank siding if that was what I would like but recommended CertainTeed siding. A little web research that I did identified some issues and a possible class action lawsuit with CertainTeed siding, which I felt the other company should have known about. After I called Arnie back and signed a contract, the entire process went very quickly. His crew came out that week and in two days the old siding had been replaced and the new siding painted. Both the siding and painting crews were professional, did excellent work, and cleaned up when they were done. They did some extra work on the molding that they identified was needed at no charge. I have been happy thus far with the work done by Siding Unlimited and will likely use them again when I am ready to replace siding on the rest of the house.

Arnie (the owner) was prompt and professional from start to finish. He brought the different crew leaders (siding, painting, windows) to see what we wanted to do even before we had signed a contract. He gave us a timeline that he followed as best he could ( the heat was a problem some of the time, and the crew left early which we had no problem with-it was just too hot some afternoons!) The siding crew was prompt each morning, worked thru the day and cleaned up each evening before they left. Their attention to detail was evident with a very neat job done. The painting crew started on the finished side of the house while the siding was being completed on another section so there was no lull in the job getting done. Arnie came by often, checked as each crew finished to make sure there were no incomplete sections. He also was available anytime we called and wanted to discuss anything. The lead painter worked with me as I had specific ways I wanted the 3 different paint colors applied. They also cleaned up before leaving each evening. The gutter crew was the last, and got all the gutters up as they were hung before, and then it rained later that afternoon! No leaks, all draining as they should. We had a dumpster in our driveway during the whole process and Arnie always made sure it was emptied/replaced in a timely manner. We ended up with 4 full dumpsters by the time it was all finished. We really like how the house looks, should have done it a long time ago,.

Arnie is the quintessential exterior home expert. His easy going style and advice when I first met him, continued on through the project.. Arnie’s price quote was the lowest of the three I received. The project started when it was committed to or approximately two weeks after signing the contract. The workers came in and demolition and then siding installation took in total three days to complete. After the first day, I was not happy with what I perceived as being siding butt joints that I felt were not scattered enough throughout the wall. But it only took one quick conversation with Arnie and the wall was completely dismantled and the siding reapplied to my satisfaction. Not once did Arnie even hesitate to ensure of my complete satisfaction. The siding then all went up straight, and solid, with good butt joint spacing. The technique for siding installation included small indistinguishable nails at the bottom of each piece (as well of course as at the top) to ensure the siding was solid all around to the house. Joints were also cut square and firmly abutted each other. The few areas that needed extra repair such as fascia and soffits were well attended for and the extra cost was very reasonable. Clean up was completed each day. The workers arrived about 8 AM and worked up to 12 hours each day with little in the way of breaks. Painting took two days to complete. All windows and doors were taped off, a high quality caulk was applied neatly in seams and in butt joints, and then siding was sprayed first, with soffits of a contrasting white sprayed afterward. Each window and door was also then hand painted. Painting was neat, with very little drips. Much neater than I would ever be able to do. Gutters and gutter covers came last. There was a concern of mine of where the previous gutters drained, and advice was given to remove the one downspout and increasing the size of the downspout on the other end. I believe this will solve the problem. Advice was also given and well received to keep the gutter covers black in order to hide future years of discoloration from roof dirt . The white gutters and black gutter covers look great. In summary, this company has an excellent and knowledgeable salesman/project manager and skilled craftsmen with the work completed extremely well, the price was below all others, and the experience was virtually painless. I would definitely recommend Siding Unlimited to all.

They were on time. They were on budget with the estimate and the final cost. He was great overall. He was very professional.

Very well. Mr. Conman took his time to answer all of our questions and to provide for us very many worthwhile suggestions and advice. He was extremely helpful. I cannot recommend Siding Unlimited highly enough.

Arnie, the owner, started off by making a good impression in the proposal phase of the project. I contacted several contractors, but Arnie was the only one to give the impression that he dropped what he was doing by coming out immediately. He spent significant time talking through all aspects of the job, answering questions in detail and when leaving, providing a price estimate. The initial estimate was middle of the pack of proposal. Siding unlimited came down some to the point where the quality/price comparison flipped in their favor. The job was estimated to take 8 days - 4 days on siding, 4 days on the paint job. In actuality, the work was completed in 5 and a half days. The crews for siding and painting are strictly separated, as each is specialized in their field. The leads for both aspects came out at the beginning of the job and talked through the entire event. These leads functioned as the operational point of contacts. They left their cell phone numbers, were available at any time during the project and made sure the job progressed swiftly. The quality of the siding installation is outstanding. I have made comparisons with several siding installations in the area and Siding Unlimited's work stands out. The siding is installed very tightly, with minimal gaps between boards. We had some discussion as to whether the siding should be installed without caulking in between the boards, per a directive from James Hardie (specifically focused on pre-painted siding), but I decided to go with the traditional (caulked) method, after looking at houses of some of the references Arnie provided. I also asked the siding crew to bury as many of the tag-on wires on my house underneath the siding. They took good care of this and buried several Directv cables, phone cables and cables for outside speakers. The result is a very clean look (while all connections still work). The paint crew followed the siding crew with around a 1 day time gap, so prep work and caulking was performed while the siding installation was being completed, without the risk of significant dust settling on the caulk. As a result, the paint did not take much more than 2 days after the moment that the siding installation was completed. The paint crew was very professional. When I expressed concerns on the solidity of the paint on some of my sunny side facing sills, the company threw in 2 additional sill replacements without charging me for it. Overall, the house looks stunning and we are very happy with the results.

They were very good. They came out and did what they were supposed to do. They did the work in timely fashion. They were available to answer questions I had. They were very good. I would recommend them to everyone. I would use them in the future.

I sent a message to Siding Unlimited and Arnie contacted me immediately. He scheduled an appointment at my convenience and he was punctual and prepared. He offered several options and discussed the pros and cons of each. I agreed to the above work and Arnie told me when he expected to start. His crew was punctual, dressed in uniforms, friendly and professional. They had all the equipment and materials that they needed, and worked very hard. As expected, some additional problems were discovered once the work was underway, but Arnie was reasonable in his assessment of additional charges. The work was completed and the workers cleaned up thoroughly behind themselves. Arnie emphasizes that he "wants you to be happy with the work," and he stands by this. This project was the least stressful and most satisfactory that I have contracted out in 25 years of home ownership. The price was not the lowest or the highest of the "bids" that I obtained, but it was fair, in my opinion. I would recommend Arnie and Siding Unlimited to any homeowner who wants this type of work performed properly with no hassles and no worries. UPDATE NOVEMBER 2011: We had heavy rains in mid-November and a small leak around a dormer let some water drip through the living room ceiling. We called Arnie and he dispatched a crew on the weekend to fix the flashing and seal the small leak, at no charge. This is a GREAT company to do business with!

The owner of the company, Arnie, came out to give a estimate. He arrived at the appointed time and was professional and was not pushy. He gave me the price and said to give him a call when I make a decision. The installation went with out any problems. They installed a dumpster which was out of the way and did not block our acess to our garage. The siding installers were professional and courtious and cleaned up as they went. It took two days to install the siding and two days to do the painting. The painters were also very professional and cleaned up as they went. In conclusion the job went very well with minmal disruption to us. Judging from neighbors inquires the price was very good.

The project went very well. Artie was very punctual when meeting with me and provided a thorough estimate. The crew came out as scheduled and were very friendly and professional. The siding was replaced in one day. The painters came out a few days later and also were very professional. Overall I would use Siding Unlimited again and recommend them to anyone needing their services.

They were absolutely phenomenal! They are the most professional company I have ever dealt with. Eveyone who worked on the project was a diret employee of the company. They were not contracted workers. They were professional, thorough, polite, emmaculate, and on time. There wasn't so much as a nail left on the lawn. They were by far the best company I have ever worked with when having something done to my house. The experience was exceptional!

The work was well done and well managed. There were good interactions throughout and they provided good customer support too. There was nothing in particular that stood out to me about them. I would use their services in the future too.

Wish I had found them sooner. I would use this company for every category they do. They are professional, prompt, and polite. We received several quotes and they were right in line with the other quotes. They came, they conquered, and they left no trash behind!

Demolition of old siding was quick and efficient. They had dumpsters delivered the day before, so clean up was done as they went. They covered the house with Tyvec wrap, and installed new siding. Painters came the following day and did a great job.Then gutters were installed with no problems. The only problems I experienced were when they tried to hide phone cables under the siding (by my request). The lines ended up getting broken in 3 places. (But they did offer to pay for it). Also, the original cost estimate included siding, gutters and painting. Who knew that facias & soffits weren't included? It ended up adding on another $3000. They also did not give me the free siding painting which was advertised on the side of the van when I asked for it. They did a good job, but be sure to ask "what does the price NOT include?"

They removed our original siding, wrapped the house, resided it and painted everything. They were timely, efficient and did a beautiful job on the siding and the painting. Would highly recommend the company.

This was a fairly large and potentially messy job give all of the fake stucco that was removed. Arnie Conman is extremely knowledgeable and professional. The job took about 1 week to complete. The crew was professional, thorough and did a good job cleaning up. The finished product looks very good. My only minor nit was a couple pieces of vertical trim aren't completely flush with each other, but it isn't very noticeable.

The siding portion of a larger home improvement job was outsourced to Unlimited Siding due to a personal hardship that fell on the crew chief of the siding team of another previously used and trusted remodeling company. I didn't have a lot of face time with the owner Arnie due to their last minute appointment to this job, I was trusting the endorsement made by Lee Fuller owner of Pinnacle Windows and Doors, who I trusted having used him the past and had a great experience with. ( 21 windows replaced ) Unlimited did a great job the siding crew and the paint crew worked together under some very trying weather conditions (mostly cold). The finished job looks FANTASTIC! The boards are tighter than I thought they could cut them and the caulk job is superb. It was no surprise to me that Unlimited Siding was found on Angie's List with so many great reviews.
