I had a leak from the ceiling on the first floor coming from the master bathroom above. It was small leak, but unfortunately it was above my smoke detector and set off the alarm at 6:45 a.m. There was also a light in the ceiling so I had concerns that the leak would also cause electrical malfunctions. The fire department came out disabled the alarm and also shut the water off at the street so that it wouldn't get worse as I found a plumber. I was not a member of Angie's List but immediately subscribed because I saw the ads and didn't just want to pick someone out of the phone book. I needed someone quick and realized that I was pretty vulnerable for someone to take advantage of since the water to my house had been shut off. I called and left a message at 7:30 a.m. and received a call back around 9 a.m. The scheduled the plumber for 2 p.m. He was on time and courteous. The problem wasn't major at all. It was actually a small leak under the vanity which was a result of the stopper not put on correctly. The week prior I disconnected the stopper to unclog the drain and apparently didn't put it back on straight. He noticed the stopper was rusted and offered to replace it with a new one but wasn't going to charge me for just screwing on the stopper properly. I also appreciated that he didn't make me feel like an idiot for putting the stopper on wrong. :) The total was $125 but as a first time customer I used a coupon and got $20 off. The only thing in hindsight that I probably should have asked, but would have been nice if it was volunteered, was the amount it was going to cost for them to come out and do the inspection. In my panicked state I didn't ask and was relieved when the amount wasn't that high. It's always good in my opinion for a company to be up front with fees so the customer isn't caught off guard because once they are in your house and have diagnosed the problem it's unlikely you are going to turn them away, especially in an emergency. Thank goodness the price was fair and my plumber was nice and professional! I would definitely use them again for other plumbing needs and will refer them to others.

Terry is a true professional who takes pride in his work. If you want your problem solved the first time, he is the one to call.

I am removing my initial review of this company. Although I had some issues (not with the work, but with communication), the owner has worked with me to find a solution. I am pleased so far with how it has gone, and will post a more thorough review after the work is completed. Unfortunately, I am unable to completely remove my review and can only edit; I also am unable to change the overall grade to N/A so for now I'm going with a B.

On August 31, 2012, I waited at my home and about 11 am, I contacted Plumbpros since noone called me. Michael, the owner, eventually contacted me and informed me that they were busy with other jobs and would send someone out between 1pm and 3pm. Another plumber, Caleb, arrived at 3:05 pm - no one called to inform me that the plumber was on the way. Caleb was very professional but he informed me that he was not familar with the job and did not know what would be required. He quickly identified the problem and went to the local hardware store to get parts. Unfortunately, he discovered that the plumbing leading to the bathroom tub would need to be moved which required drilling through the concrete box. He provided a quote and I agreed to have the work done. He stated that he would have to come back on Labor Day, Sep. 3 at 9 am to complete the work. I was impressed that they would be working on the holidays. On Sep. 3rd, I expected Caleb to arrive by 9 am and begin the work. At 9:30 am, I had not heard from anyone so I called Caleb. He informed me that he had truck trouble and could we reschedule for September 6th between 9 am - 11 am. Again I agreed. On Sep. 6th, one called me so at 10 am, I contacted Plumbpros and asked to speak to Michael, the owner. He promptly contacted me and informed me again that they were very busy and that I was actually outside of their service area. I informed him that I was very disappointed that no one took the time to contact me to inform me of the delay and that I had spent three days from work trying to get the work done. Plus, I was disappointed that he would tell me now that I was outside of his service area after promising to do the work. Michael agreed that I should be disappointed and that he would have a plumber out that afternoon and would provide a discount from the estimated price. Since I wanted the work done prior to guests arriving and using the tub, I reluctantly agreed. Caleb and another plumber arrived and very efficiently completed the work. I was pleased with the job. I was disappointed that Plumbpros failed to inform me that they would be delayed on three different days.

We had some mis-matches on time of arrival, which did not cause any problems. Overall it went excellently.

These guys are great! I called over Labor Day weekend because the hot water tap in our main bathroom tub would not close; it literally ran on full flow unless I cut it off at the water heater. I left a phone message and sent an email requesting a call back on Tuesday. Promptly at 8:30 Tuesday morning, they called and we scheduled for the next day. The guys showed up on time, calling 30 minutes prior to arrival, assessed the situation and gave me a reasonable quote. The parts needed were on the truck, and in about an hour we were totally fixed. Very professional, knowledgeable, and clean. Would definitely use again!

On a Saturday (with no extra w/e emergency fee), the plumber was here in ONE HOUR after I called. He quoted a price when he arrived and ended up charging me less because of the "coupon" for Angies List. He used three different pieces of equipment, from least complicated to the most. The 3rd one did the trick. He was polite and courteous and even liked my cat! I've used many plumbing companies over the years and have never experienced this quality combination of promptness, efficiency and politeness in one visit. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again.

The Main Plumber, Caleb, wasn't prepared for the job with I scheduled weeks in advance. Initially, I was told it would take 1 1/2 days to complete the work but to be on the safe side, to plan 2. Morning of job, Caleb did not have supply list - did I have a copy of my estimate on hand? I didn't & he ended up getting the incorrect materials. Job did not start until 3pm that day. He left around 5 promising me he would return at 7. Next day, 7:20am no plumbers, call Caleb. He tells me he's running late...and giggles. I notified owner of Plumbing Pros of my concerns, especially when it takes Caleb two hours to make a run to Home Depot - and it's only 20 minutes from my house. Owner hears my concerns and tells me he's putting more guys to get the job done. This I appreciate. During the last day of work, which ended at 8pm, Caleb never informed me of leaving the premises - I stayed upstairs in order to be out of their way. However, it seemed like he took quite a few trips off the premises. The rest of crew were nice.

The diagnoses made were correct in both cases and the work provided was excellent. For the second visit, I tried getting Bill to return without sufficient notice calling late one afternoon for the following day but he was booked for that day. He was able to come the following day and stayed for a little over two hours to fix the P-trap and tub leak.

Bill, the plumber, was able to come earlier than schedule due to being able to resolve first call of the day promptly; scheduling called me and requested to come early if it was ok with me, I was delighted. Bill accessed my problem quickly and pinned pointed the location of the problem, although the source of the leak was allusive Bill systematically resolved my problem, cleaned his tools and any trash and charged me as he orginally quoted.Thank you Bill and Plumbpro. Noticed the water spot on the ceiling of the bedroom. Went upstairs and shut the water off to the sink and toilet in the bedroom above us. This did not stop the water. Found Plumbpros plumbing on Angie's List and called. They came out the next day, (I called after hours) and capped the leak. That was on a Saturday. Bill came Monday morning and repaired the pipe. They were very professional and courteous. Bill cleaned up everything. He was also careful to cover my furniture and put boot covers on when he came into the house.

I called on a Saturday and they came out for the estimate on Monday. The work was complete on Tuesday. They arrived on time, completed the work as promised and cleaned their work area. They were professional and did a great job.

They are excellent. I like the fact that when they come out to see what’s wrong, the estimate is free of cost. They show up on time and they even give a courtesy call when they’re getting close to my residence. They did more than what I’d asked them to do.

On a Friday night after 4th of July I found my 23 year old water heater had started dripping rusty water. I knew I needed to replace it sooner rather than later to avoid the bigger problem of flooding. I called Plumbpros Plumbing Saturday morning. The situation was not an emergency, but it was urgent and my schedule for the upcoming week would not allow for me to be home during the day. All available plumbers were fully booked for Saturday, but owner told me he would check on availability for Sunday and give me a call back. He called back 10 minutes later saying he could schedule me for Sunday morning. Plumber called 30 minutes prior to arrival to notify of arrival time, just as I was told would occur. 2 man team arrived on time, provided estimate to replace hot water heater and perform required code upgrades. I accepted the estimate; they started draining the heater and water from the pipes; they left to get new heater and other necessary supplies; returned and removed old heater; installed new heater, expansion tank, gas line debris trap and other code required upgrades. From start to finish was 3 hours. The team was very nice, did not mind that I watched them the entire time and asked questions.

Called at 7:10AM when the problem was first discovered. I was cheerfully greeted by a phone representative and said we could have a technician out between the hours of 9-11AM. Approx. 9:30, the technician (Terry) arrived and diagnosed the problem within 20 minutes. He provided a quote that was clear what was going to be done. He stated the water service entering the house was not originally done properly which is why the the pipe eventually broke outside the house. He explained how he was going to fix it the right way and it would last forever. Terry's work inside and outside the house was spotless. The water was back on inside the house by 1:30PM. We could not be happier with the level of professionalism and service provided by Plumbpros Plumbing. I would definitely recommend and use them again for all future plumbing needs.

They replaced my pump. They even ran the line to my kitchen, which it wasn't before, for no extra charge. They stuck to the price on the estimate. They were punctual. I felt they were fair priced. I was very impressed with this company. I once had to call them while I was out of town and they came out to my house and did a very quick repair for free!

I found a plumber I love!!! I called PlumbPros based on reviews to come and fix the nozzles where the washing machine connects to the water source. They were rusted so when the new washer showed up it could not be installed. Sounds like it should have been a quick job and I was quoted a price of $129. Turns out it was not so small. The nozzle broke off so Bill the awesome plumber had to go to the warehouse to get a new one. He quickly returned and got to work. He had to remove a little more of the wall, do something with the pipes, glue something, let the glue dry for an hour, and then complete the work. This little job turned out to be a few hours long and yet they did not charge me more. In addition I was told that Bill would be at my place at 9:30 am and he was there at exactly 9:30. Amazing! Why can't the cable company pull this off?I will definitely use PlumbPros again!

We have used Plumbpros three times and each time, they were punctual, professional and friendly.

Our urgent problem was a drain from the house to the septic tank that kept getting clogged and causing our laundry room to flood when the water backed out. We had had this problem addressed previously by a different service on a more urgent basis, and then we also had our septic tank serviced. We thought we had solved the problem, but once again a few months later we had a drain clog and flooded our laundry room. Plumbpros sent a technician out the same day I called at almost the exact time promised. I described the problem to him, and he was able to get enough of the clog cleared out to put a camera into the drain pipe and figure out exactly where we were getting clogged. We were clogging outside in the drain pipe just a foot or so from where it empties into the septic tank. It turned out a root had grown into the drain pipe and was causing a dam effect. This was exactly what we needed to know- the source of the problem. The technician gave us an estimate for the work to replace the drain pipe with no pressure tactics or any scare tactics. We were very appreciative of this. The second, less urgent problem we had fixed was both of our outside spigots, which were leaking. We had actually broken one trying to do it ourselves, so it was replaced completely and the other one was easily fixed. All of this work was done for $375.00. The estimate for the rest of the work was $1200. In the end, we actually did not have any more work done by a professional plumber. A very good friend whose family is in the plumbing business (although he is not himself) was very skeptical that our problem was a root. in the drain pipe. He thought it was our drain field. He came over, and he and my husband dug down to the pipe where the root supposedly was, and lo and behold there was a huge root ball in our drain pipe which had become separated. My husband and his friend were able to replace the pipe themselves. So Plumbpros absolutely got it right, and we now have the source of our problem solved. We were quite impressed with the diagnostic work that was done to get at the source of our problem. The camera going down the drain pipe was key. The technician was professional and informative, and we would not have hesitated to use Plumbpros to replace the drain pipe had we not had a friend to help who knew what he was doing.

.Bill arrived on time and gave us a quote for the work before beginning. Price was reasonable and less than other quotes. He had to make a couple of trips to the plumbing store (to get a part, then another trip when the first part broke) but he returned quickly. He worked steadily and cleaned up when he was finished. We checked the work before he left and everything worked satisfactorily. He provided us with information about the warranty. We were very pleased with the work.

Michael Jordan was quick to get the service set up and to communicate clearly the expected time of arrival. It did not need to be the same day, but it worked out that we got service the afternoon of when we called. The clothes washer shut off vales had deteriorated over the years and could not be shut off. Cutting into the wall was the only option and we had a few confirmations of this over the past couple of years. Finally, as we are about to replace the flooring in the laundry, we needed to have it fixed in order to be able to disconnect the washer. Caleb and his partner called thirty minutes out and arrived on time. They were neat and informative, did very clean work.The project did not take long and they put the room back in working order. I'd give them an "A" on pricing, but am close to being able to do it myself and always wish the pricing could be lower. They checked out my system over all, I took advantage of the $20 off, and PlumbPros provided a very good value.

They were personable and professional. They told us everything they were going to do before they did it.

The job was to be completed in one day. It took 3.5 days to complete, 2.5 days of work plus 1 day of no work on a Sunday.I really liked the plumber. However the rest of the crew did not complete the job to my expectations. The water line ran through a juniper bed. The first crew was careful to do little damage while digging. However different workers came back to bury the pipe and they just buried the juniper branches that the first crew worked so hard to save. I had to go back and dig the juniper branches out of the mud.The exterior clean up was satisfactory. However, I had to clean and mop the inside of my house were they worked.They also promised me pictures of the work that I have not received as of three weeks later and the promised warranty information they send me was for the incorrect pipe manufacture.

Found this Company on Angie's List after studying many comments on plumbing companies. We had a slow leak in our hot water heater and Bill identified the problem immediately as a defective boiler valve. He was in the area and able to come the same day that I called. It was all fixed within 45 minutes of his arrival. I could not get on my computer to print the first time customer coupon but Bill had already applied the credit to the invoice. Very prompt, efficient and honest Company. Would highly recommend them.
