My neighbor contacted Carlton Ray (an employee) about doing a repair on my rear glass window. Carlton came out on Sat, Nov 20, 2010 to do the repair. In doing so, he broke off my rear wiper blade and left a lot of glass in the inside panel of the rear gate so that the door does not close. After discovering this, both myself and my neighbor requested he replace the broken wiper & remove the glass so the rear door would stay closed. He said he would order the part and be back on Wed, Nov 24 to replace the wiper and remove the remaining glass. I called Mon, Nov 22 to confirm this. I spoke with the owner, Mark Koenig. He began to tell me that Carlton was a thief and stole the cash that my neighbor had given him for the job. I was astounded at his accusations and unprofessional demeanor. After several phone calls back and forth that day, the owner said it was a misunderstanding. This was the first red flag that went up, concerning this owner's business ethics. I had to leave town for the Thanksgiving weekend and said that I would not be able to meet with him until Mon, Nov 29. I called that Mon and the owner answered and said that HE would be the one to come out to do the repair himself to make sure it was done properly. He then began to defend his company as "high-class" and having high quality client?le. He offered me 25% off my next glass repair needs. HA HA!!! On Dec 2, I called again to confirm when he would come out to do the repair. He told me that he would NOT be doing it and I would receive a call from Carlton Ray within the hour to schedule it. Still nothing. After several more attempts that week I was getting very upset. On Thur, Dec 11th, I called the business again and it wouldn't allow me to leave a message. I then called Carlton's cell phone and left a message instructing this would be my last request before taking action with the BBB. The wiper he took is repairable. He took it to order a piece that he had broken off. Buying a whole new wiper will cost us $75. Their business practice is despicable. I do hope to come to some kind of restitution and get my vehicle working again. After jumping through hoops on getting the owner to "own-up" to his employee's mistake (by breaking off my rear wiper after a rear window install), he finally brought me a replacement wiper with nearly 2 months of arguing over whose fault it was. But he did not install it like we originally discussed. I took it to the dealer to install and what do you know...it is an after market wiper that DOESN'T fit! Now I am out $75 because of a mistake HE made. Thanks turd! I am disgusted at how deceitful you are. How can you even stay in business with your lack of morals?
