Alex Rosenthal was punctual and thorough in all inspections. He explained what he was doing during the inspections. He uses a recorder and camera to provide excellent detail in his reports. He not only indicates what might be a current issue, but provides suggestions for preventative maintenance to avoid future issues. My real estate agent was very complimentary of his professionalism during the inspections and also the manner in which his inspections are written. He provides detailed notes with corresponding pictures for better understanding of an issue. This assists the repair person in knowing what should be corrected. The written reports following the inspection were delivered in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Alex Rosenthal and Hi-Tech Home Inspections, Inc. and I will certainly seek his inspection services in the future when opportunity arises.

This was a thoroughly professional and comprehensive service. Alex was prompt in scheduling, returning all calls, producing a very exhaustive report, and providing all necessary services. All home systems were examined and we were included in the inspection all the way through. His report provided a solid basis for negotiated repairs with the sellers.

The inspection was scheduled promptly, the work was performed extremely thoroughly and professionally, and the report, delivered quickly, was comprehensive and documented completely. We were able to provide this documentation to the sellers to assist in the timely closing of our home buying transaction.

Alex is extremely prompt and thorough. He provided us with a detailed report and called us that evening to go over it. He expressed real concerns over the Radon mitigation system that was installed in the home. We called a Radon mitigation specialist who concurred with Alex. The installed was doing nothing but using electricity. The levels of Radon were well above the allowable limit. Thanks to Alex we are moving into a home we are confident about.

Alex, was on time and extremely professional. He has a great personality and sense of humor. He takes his time and is extremely detailed. I know more about homes than I ever did before. Additionally, he caught major items that needed to repaired. My roof is sinking in but neither I nor my agent caught it. Apparently, parts of the foundation in the attic require reinforcing. I spent several hours with Alex educating me on this home and items that are considered major vs- minor. His thoroughness has saved me thousands of dollars in repairs that I would have otherwise absorbed after closing. Alex is the man...... THANK YOU ALEX!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is very good at what he does; however, he is very sarcastic in approach and a little rough around the edges. Once I knew that was his personality, it was easier to talk with him. Before that I had no idea what to make of him. I would use him again, but he is rather pricey and charged an extra charge for coming to the south side from the north side of GA. He knows what he is talking about and give you good tips on how to fix things and will show you what the issues are if you walk with him. I would hire again if finances allowed.

Alex was a wonderful home inspector. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and thorough. We walked around with him while he inspected everything from top to bottom all while explaining what he was doing while he was doing it. He not only told us about issues that needed repaired immediately but gave insight into other less serious problems we should keep our eye on long-term. His report was ready the next day and was very well done. Because of his inspection, we were able to get a large sum of money for repairs. His fee was slightly more than others in Atlanta, but a home inspection is no place to skimp, get someone that knows what they are doing like Alex!

Alex was very responsive and returned my call same day. The first impression of Alex is that he loves to make sarcastic jokes and that he knows he is very good at his job (which is true) so he comes off as cocky. Alex spent almost 5 hours at the home going through every detail and explaining everything to us as we went along. He also gave us his personal recommendations on how to fix he problems and helped us understand which issues where serious and which were not. He was very friendly and had a customer first attitude. He also agreed to allow us to pay him when our home closes in a few weeks. I will be using him for our next inspection for sure. He is a little higher prices than some of the others I heard from, but he was more flexible with the payment and the price difference was minimal. Also when he got stuck in traffic he was in constant communication letting us know his updated eta.

Alex is extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, and honest. He advised me to back out of the first home I had inspected and even provided me a discount as he stopped the inspection early. My second home inspection went much better and Alex was able to provide me with a lot of detail of little things that need addressing. He provided me with a lot of feedback on certain approaches I should take to my remodeling goals, which are first and foremost to improve my home's energy efficiency. He explained how a properly ventilated attic functions and made great recommendations like installing baffles on the attic roof to help improve my attic airflow. I cannot recommend Alex at Hi Tech Home Inspections Inc enough.

The first thing that impressed me about Alex was he was quick to respond to my request. I had called 4 different home inspectors and received Voicemails from each of them AND only heard back from 2. Alex on the other hand answered his phone right away and made himself available for my home inspection even though it was his day off that I requested. As a first time home buyer you can imagine I had heard all of the horror stories that can come with purchasing an older home and dealing with inspectors but Alex was such a pleasure to work with I could not even fathom those stories to be true. Alex not only inspected all areas of the home he also brought me along to point out key details and inform me of ways to address the issues. If he did not have a full answer (such as vendor pricing) he did not make it up and simply let me know that was not his expertise. After finishing he wrote a fully detailed report with pictures and sent it over a few hours later. I enjoyed working with Alex and would work with him again down the road.

Alex was phenomenal from start to finish. He was easy to reach and quick to respond and was willing to accommodate my timeline (which included generating a report the same day as the inspection). He was very thorough and efficient, was super helpful in explaining potential concerns, and went the extra mile to research some things for me that were not strictly speaking part of the inspection. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Alex inspected the first home I wanted to purchase on 02/25/2016. This is why you should always pay for a quality home inspection. This house had numerous problems even though the inside was like new. Alex found problems that I would not have known about if this inspection had not been done, so I decided this was not the house for me. The second home I decided to try and purchase came out way better and with this inspection in hand I was able to negotiate a little of a break. Alex answers all your questions, is never in a hurry to finish up with the inspection, and notes everything. He takes pictures shows them to you and explains everything. I would hire Alex again.

Alex arrived on time and was very thorough. He even made suggestions regarding increasing gutter size due to roof lines meeting at points. He also recommended adding to the downspouts to get the rain water away from the house. He also recommended minor grading which would also channel the rain water away from the foundation. He issued a comprehensive report whic hwe provided to the seller as it was a part of the negotiation process. We would use him again.

I can't say enough good things about Alex.(no, I didn't get money nor discount to say that...) Alex was very thorough and professional, since I followed him around the house he patiently described the issues, ways to fix them and/or how to prevent them. This experience was way beyond what we paid for and I learned a lot from him especially as first home buyer. My realtor added him to her list - another proof how good he is. Good luck!

Alex was very responsive to calls and texts. Thanks to a slot freeing up on his schedule, he was able to get our home inspection done the day after I contacted him. Alex encouraged us to be present during the inspection, and spent quite a bit of time explaining what he was looking for, what he was seeing and things that we should do to take care of the home and minimize future issues. Alex took his time checking everything thoroughly, and was fastidious in his inspection and testing of everything possible - heating, plumbing, electrical, condition of doors and windows, exterior, drywall, etc. He noted several things I never would have noticed. Highly recommended!

Alex clearly knows what he is doing. He is extremely thorough and in truth I learned a lot about my home, potential problems, and gave me really sound advice. His report is really thorough and that is exactly the kind of person you need. I really think he looks out for his clients.

Alex was very prompt and courtesy and was open to any question I might have during the home inspection process. He pointed out things that could be an issue such as not proper water drainage, and safety concerns that could be a problem. Any way it saved me time and money in the decision making process.

He found many important items the other had not noted, such as an infestation of carpenter beetles, some electrical problems, some plumbing issues. The purchase price was reduced by $1000 because of all these items and we feel confident we are aware of all the things that need to be addressed. He spent more than 2 hours inspecting and had the report to us in less than 24 hours. He was very knowledgeable and great to deal with.

Alex inspected our new construction home. He is very detail oriented and knowledgeable of his job duties, therefore he was able to find mistakes and code violations that the builder needed to correct. Also he gave a detailed report the same day of service. I would definitely recommend this service.

Alex found severe mold that I'd not noticed because I'd not been looking at the right places nor with good lighting. Then he surveyed the property and showed me numerous other defects including the likely cause of the mold situation, which was a downward slope of the yard on the north side of the house which channeled water directly into the foundation, as well as un-extended downspouts from the roof draining water into the crawlspace. He even suggested what could have been done to have easily channeled the water away from the house and into the back yard. Alex was very personable and helpful and was obviously the consummate professional. He gave me some great advice as to what I should be looking for as I check on other properties that I might want to consider purchasing instead. I'm certainly not going to get the one we looked at today. Alex saved me from buying a money pit!
