When I called Andy on Call, the contractor came out within an hour to review what needed to be done and give me an estimate. He scheduled my job to start a few days later and told me it would take two days to complete. I picked up the primer, paint and stain that would be needed along with the outside light replacements and mailbox. The contractor would go to Home Depot and order the supplies needed to complete the job and I would pay for the supplies out-of-pocket. The supplies were not included in the cost of the job but I knew that up front. There were no hidden charges. Unfortunately, when the contractor came to start the work it was cloudy and by the mid afternoon it had started to rain. However, the contractor decided that he would pressure wash first since if and when it started to rain it wouldn't matter. Needless to say, the next day it rained around noon so worked stopped. Finally the weather coorperated on the 4th day and the contractor finished the entire project. The contractor did call me every day before he arrived to inform me that he was on his way. However, due to the weather forecastduring the week, I would have expected the contractor to arrive earlier than he did to work around the weather and complete the job sooner. The workmanship was excellent and the contractor was professional. I would definitely contract Andy on Call again for future.

The representative for Andy on call came out to complete two jobs; replace a toilet flange and repair some fencing in the yard. John was uncomfortable replacing the broken flange and suggested we call a plumber. I appreciated his honesty. What I didn't appreciate what that he did not complete the other work we hired him to do: repairing some boards on our fence. He just left. No goodbye, no thank you. He left. I called Steve, the Marietta rep - Steve. He we not terribly helpful, never apologized, just said he didn't know what happened. Stay away from these folks.

Overall the job went very good from the start to finish. If things had not gone well I would have had more to say. Thank you.

I spoke with the office at 0900 in the morning and was impressed with the friendly and helpful way I was greeted by the lady who took my call. I briefly explained my problem, and Corbin arrived to look at the work needed at 12:30. He prepared a detailed estimate for me, which I approved. He then purchased the needed supplies, returned, and completed the job. By 4:30 clean up was complete and I an very satisfied with the work. Corbin is a nice young man, neat, presentable, and very courteous. I would definitely use Andy's On Call again.

We called several handyman services we found on Angie's List and Andy on Call was the only one to send someone out for an estimate. The only time I was available was after 5:30 on a Friday night, but they were extremely flexible and more than willing to send someone out at that inconvenient hour. The person they sent seemed to be knowledgeable and was not at all upset about having to work late on a Friday. They not only had the best deal, but were able to tell us that one of our doors was not a standard size so we didn't waste money on a pre-hung door that we didn't need. The person they sent out to do the estimate left the company and Mike came out to hang the doors. He was very professional and took the time needed to make sure the job was done right the first time. He pointed out some issues with the home and told us how to fix them ourselves, but offered to come back and do the work if we wanted. He was punctual, knowledgeable and personable. We'll definitely use Andy on Call in the future and we'll most definitely request that Mike be sent out to help us.

We discussed what to do and what was best to do before he started. He had to do all the carpentry work on site. They were good. The quality was good. I'm still using it and it was supposed to be temporary. They were responsible with the yard. They came exactly when they said they would. They were very professional.

They did a very nice job. They were informative. Helpful. Absolutely no problems. Would definitely use them again. Very upfront about price and estimate. Office staff and everyone that came out were professional. They even sent out a thank you card.

Andy OnCall discovered what the problem was and fixed it. He installed the GSI's that I needed. He also troubleshooted all over the house to ensure the proper amount of GSI's. I was very pleased with them. I liked the manner and professionalism of the man who came out. My only complaint was that it cost me more. He had to go back to Home Depot to get the tools. It took longer for him to get them. So, I had to pay for the time it took him. He fixed everything perfectly. Everything works great. I was real happy with the work.

I called AOC on Tuesday, 2/7 and they had Jon T come out on Wednesday to give me a quote. We talked about options for fixing each item. Because of Angie's List I was able to get a discount on the pricing. The cost listed above is the final cost and includes materials and labor. I was quite pleased with the quote. I did have someone else come give a quote and they were 3 times higher than AOC. I called AOC back Wednesday afternoon to advise I had chosen them for the work and we set up an appointment on Friday, 2/10, to come out and do the work. Jon called letting me know he'd arrive at 9a. Jon was prompt, friendly and very professional. Jon had all of the work completed by 2p at which time we walked through the house to see everything done. I was very pleased with the quality of the work! This is my 2nd time using AOC and I will most definitely call them again when I need more items fixed in my home. I highly recommend using AOC!

The gentleman doing the work was very proffesional. He remove all damaged material, purchased the replacement material, and then installed the materials. Work went as planned and as budgeted.

Brian arrived on time and provided me with a quick and complete appraisal of the work needed, along with a fair price to be charged. He also recommended a rain diverter to help alleviate a recurrence of the problem. After going to pick up the materials needed, he quickly returned and started the job. The threshold would not adjust high enough, so Brian was able was able to raise it and still seal it completely. The job went just as promised, with the time and cost being just as stated. Brian did an excellent job for me. I will most assuredly use Andy OnCall in the future.

The Handyman arrived on time. I explained that heat and moisture from the dryer vent was coming up through the floor around the plumbing in the master bath. First he had to crawl, literally, under the house to see of the break in the line was there. We soon found that the leak was accessable from the garage. He proceeded to remove the section of pipe where the leak was , replace it, and put duct tape around all effected joints to ensure leak would not reoccur. We turned the dry on to make sure that the problem was solved. The job was neatly done and the work area was restored to its original condition. This job was a lot more difficult then it sounds, but the handyman was determined to do the job correctly. I am totally pleased with the outcome.

It was great! We had been working on installing the storm door and realized about halfway through that we were having problems we couldn't solve (we couldn't make the top frame fit and the door wouldn't shut). Rather than risk messing the door up further, I called Andy On Call. Brian was able to come out within the next hour, looked over the door and told us he could fix it and gave us a quote. He came back the next morning at 9:30 am and had the door installed and working perfectly within a couple of hours. I feel like the price charged was fair and the work quality was excellent. Would use them again in a heartbeat - they have always been fair and honest in their dealings with me. The door looks great and I am enjoying using it! Thanks!

He hasn't finished because I've been too busy to call him back to ask him to come back. We have been very pleased with them. We have been real happy with everything they have done and they have been willing to come back. There has been a little confusion about him coming back. He said that we didn't have to be there and to leave whatever needed to be done out and I didn't leave it out until the next day so I haven't called him back. Their prices were very fair. Their electrical prices are very competitive.

Everything was good and I didn't have any problems. They did a good job. I have recommended them and I would use them again.

We visited their office on a Wednesday and provided a printed list of tasks we wanted done. The man who claimed to own the location took the listy and told us that someone would be calling us the following week to provide an estimate and do the work if we agreed to the price. The following week went by with no contact from them at all. The week after that, we finally received a call from a lady who said that she was calling to make an appointment. I asked why they did not call us AS PROMISED the week before. She informed me that they had no one who could do the list during that week. When I told her that, because they did not at least contact us as promised, she could provide no reason - but she did appologize for not doing so. I informed her that, because they did not keep their original promise to call us the previous week that we had already selected someone else to do the work.

Never called with quote and to schedule work.

I called Andy OnCall to replace some rotten wood in the front door frame. As well as to fix some problems with the threshold and install a new front door. Overall, I wanted everything to look like new. Kenny Ross was sent out to my house to give me an estimate. He is a nice enough guy. I showed him the entire project area and said just tell me in your opinion, what needs to be done to make this entry way look new. He recommended replacing the door and repairing the wood frame and threshold, followed by caulking and painting. He did a nice job replacing the rotten wood but the good stuff stops there. The door he bought didn't fit the frame and he told me he could not find a new door that wood fit. That would have been some good info to have before the project started. He convinced me that he would sand the old door down and paint it to look just as good as a new door.... He did the work but it doesn't look much different than before the project. He could not find the right parts to repair the threshold and couldn't replace the entire thing either so he said I had no options but to live with it unless I wanted to rip out the entire entry way and replace everything. This also would have been some good info to know ahead of time. Overall, I feel like I got very little value for my money. Would not hire him again. Two of the three items on the initial list were not done, replace the old door, repair the threshold.

The job done was great. They were great. They were here when they said they were going to be here. They did what they said they were going to do. The price was actually less than what they had quoted me on phone. The guy was very professional and nice. He did the work and was gone. I have a refrigerator and if I have to get any of its parts fixed, I will call them. I would use them in the future.

Several times the handyman has recommended a better solution than I had asked for and both times the cost was the same or lower.

For over 20 years we've been living with a mysterious leak in our basement coming from our tub. The tub itself kept getting mildew in the caulking under the faucet. We were so afraid of what may be hiding behind that wall that we kept procrastinating fearing a huge expense. Finally we bit the bullet and called Andy on Call in Marietta, GA for their free estimate. The next day Mark came out and arrived exactly on time. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the caulk and the downstairs leak. I showed him the closet wall directly behind the leaking tub faucet and he made a small cut out (revealing no mold problem, thank gosh) and installed an access panel that looks great. Within 2 hours the job was done...he had removed all the old caulk around the entire tub, replaced the dripping tub faucet and diverter. It looked beautiful. He did a great job of cleaning up afterward. What a relief...and for only about $300. I wish I'd called them 20 years ago!

Mike arrived right at the scheduled time, was professional yet friendly, and did an excellent job. When installing the screen door turned into a more complicated job than expected, he was very patient and stayed with it until it was perfect. He cleaned up any mess that was made doing the various tasks that he did for us.

As noted above, the original framing was not done right and was rotting. Bernard examined the situation, provided a detail work order and estimate. He came on the designated day, pulled the window out, rebuilt the framing, reinstalled the window, and then finished, sealed, and painted the whole thing. He was careful and meticulous, even vacuuming our carpet by the window. The window looks great and is well secured. Super job!
