I have been unable to make contact.
Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from Angie's List. Their phone number is invalid and they have not responded to 3 emails sent trying to schedule (sent to martinwilliams25@gmail.com ) They apparently have a new Big Deal offered on Angie's List right now, which surprises me since they have been unresponsive. I'm very disappointed as I was really looking forward to organizing my kitchen with their help. My Big Deal expires in 2 days.

I purchased a Big Deal from Angie's List for $69. All my previous Big Deals had good experiences. I really was looking forward to this. Appt was set for 8 am and when they did not arrive I thought Atlanta traffic; when they did not arrive at 8:30 I thought they are really running late. I called at approximately around 9:30 a.m., got their answering service and left a request for an update on what the delay was. I called again at 1:30 pm and again reached the answering service. I called Angie's List and request a refund. I still have not heard from them - NOTHING. No apology, sorry there was a mix up. I would not use them again. I would not recommend the services and from the reviews this appears to be a recurring problem.
Description of Work: I called 3 weeks prior and asked for them to clean the house. They never showed up - so services provided were none!

Nothing has happened. Nobody ever showed up on the day they were supposed to come in. They were never responsive to us. They never answered any emails or phone calls. My husband waited all morning for them.

When you hire this company you can pick either two hours of cleaning or two hours of home organizing. I picked the home organizing and their price was entirely too much. I was due to have a baby in two weeks and I worked as hard as the two people that came out. One person finished doing something and was sitting around watching the other one. I would love my money back for that one; it was so sad and ridiculous. They don't know what they are doing and have no clue. I would call and ask questions about things and they were so uncomfortable answering questions. They were on time but I will not use them again in the future. [Possibly redundant/obvious addendum: I purchased this as a "Big Deal" for my wife, who wrote the above review. All other reviews on Angie's List are re: services I've used myself]

I was very satisfied with their work. They took direction well and made sure I was satisfied. It took about four hours to complete the project. They were prompt and the women was very thorough. They are dedicated and efficient workers. They were a good team and I would recommend their services.

They did a good job. However, I specifically asked them to wash my baseboards because I have a bad back. They did a good job cleaning everything else, but that was less important to me. I just wish they would have payed more attention to what I had said. They ignored the baseboards to do something else that I told him had less priority.

They did not follow through w/ instructions. She left before the four hours were up from the Big Deal purchase. We were promised 2 people and they only sent 1 person. They sent one lady and she was extremely slow. She did not vacuum properly and left dirt that is visible. We couldn’t believe that she just left, even when we gave her our phone numbers and specifically asked her to calls us so that we could make sure everything was done before she left. We called the service provider the day after at AM and they did not return our call. We were expecting them to come back and finish the job. The non-return calls seems to be normal for the service provider because they had to re-schedule with us for the initial cleaning. The day that they came out they were scheduled to show up at AM and instead, the one person showed up and it was at AM and showed up with only one chemical to clean with. She did not do anything I asked her to do, I am not sure what she did other than dust and that was not what I paid the $69.00 for.

I called multiple times and left multiple emails to schedule moving service from the "My Deals" that I had. Two weeks before hand is when I began contact. No response of any kind. Unbelievable. There should be a way to blacklist companies that have such poor business practices. Especially during an economy like this.

I made an appointment for housecleaning with the owner, Martian Williams, to use The Big Deal certificate we had purchased. I explained to him when I made the appointment that we had out of town company coming on 9/9/11 and I needed our place cleaned. I told him I could not scrub the floors and bathrooms as much as I would like due to a back injury. Before hanging up the phone, I confirmed the time & date and even made a comment that the appointment was for 9/9 @ 9 am. At 9:15, no one had shown up for their 9 am appointment, so I called, got voice mail and left a message. At 9:30 I called again, got voice mail but didn't leave a message. At 9:45 I called again and left a message. I then called Angie's List and they provided an alternate phone number which I also called and left a message. When the person from the alternate number called back, she told me there was no possible way I had an appointment for today because SHE did all the scheduling and she would not have scheduled something for today. She asked me who I spoke to. I told her I had spoken to the owner, confirmed the appointment and had given him my certificate number. I also asked her if she did all the scheduling, why was someone else's name and phone number listed on the certificate as contact information. She said she would call me back. The owner called me back instead and said that he would not be able to send out a crew that day but that he would give me 2 additional hours of cleaning when they did come out. I reminded him that 1) we lived in a small condo and the 4 hours we already purchased with the certificate would be more than enough time and 2) my company was due in 2 hours and my place was not clean, so I needed the services to be performed at the time they were scheduled to be performed. I also let him know that having his employees tell a customer that they definitely do not have an appointment when they actually do was pretty poor customer service. He did not apologize for his employee's behavior. He then offered to call Angie's List so I could be refunded the cost of my certificate. I told him that I would call Angie's list myself, which I did. I feel that they did not provide quality customer service, did not follow through on their obligations and did not provide a satisfactory resolution to the situation. I would NOT recommend using them.
Description of Work: They did not show for the appointment and were not responsive to my calls when they were late. They did NOT perform the services for which we had an appointment and had pre-paid through a Big Deal certificate.

They arrived 15 minutes early and went right to work. They brought their own step stool to get above cabinets and appliances and they were prepared to clean my ceiling fans! They did an excellent job and would highly recommend them and use them again in the future.

Do not hire this company! I bought the Angie's Big Deal for 8 man hours of moving service. Before I bought the Big Deal, I inquired with Martin, the owner of the company, if he had insurance. Obviously, if you are a mover in Georgia you are required to have a license and insurance. Martin said he was not bonded or insured but was working on the insurance, he never mentioned his license which he could not get without the insurance. He said he should have it by the time I needed to move the end of the month. So I purchased the Big Deal. I emailed him yesterday and asked about the status of his insurance - and worker's compensation as that is also required and is especially important for movers who may get injured moving your personal items. He politely emailed me back and told me the following: it appears as though you are quite concerned about ourinsurance status as you should be, however at this point I no longer feel comfortable providing you services. Your concerns and hesitation have now caused me to also be concerned about moving forward with this job" - and suggested I get a refund from Angie. SHADY! SHADY! SHADY! If you let this person into your home, you are a fool - for cleaning, for moving or even for painting. He is not bonded or insured. Angie, shame on you for letting an unlicensed, uninsured mover advertise a Big Deal. A lot of people could end up getting sued when these jokers come to their home and fall down the stairs - who cares about all of the personal items they could break etc. And if they are so sketch on the basics of their business, I wonder if the screening of their employees is any better? Just wow.

Member did in fact inquire about our insurance status and at no point did we EVER imply or state that we had insurance. It is clearly indicated here on Angie's List that we do not. When speaking with Member it was explained to her that we are actively seeking a company to provide insurance. Member was told that she should go with her best judgment and be comfortable in making a decision to use our services. The decision to purchase the Big Deal was left up to her with her being FULLY aware of our status. Member was NEVER told or ensured that we would have insurance by any specific date, which is a COMPLETELY false statement on her part. We have a complete record of all the conversations that were held via email. In fact, this is exactly what she was told: " I can certainly understand your concerns regarding our current insurance status, however as I mentioned previously we are actively pursuing insurance. If you are still interested in our services we will be more than happy to accommodate you. Our staff is both experienced and professional. If you have major concerns regarding our insurance I would say don't do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. Please don't misunderstand we would love your business and the opportunity to win you over, but nonetheless all parties involved should be comfortable. I hope this will help you in making your decision. Have a wonderful day!" At that point Member made the decision to purchase the Big Deal anyway. We then received another email inquiring about the insurance once again; it was very clear that she was not comfortable with the situation and at that time we made the decision to not move forward with the job without insurance. We very respectfully asked that she contact Angie's list for a full refund. Member was NEVER serviced and we are not quite sure why she is so upset. She was not lied to nor was she cheated out of anything. We were certain that she would be relieved since she was never comfortable to begin with. Additionally, what is shady about suggesting that a customer receive a refund for services NOT rendered? It is our right to refuse services, just as it is a customers' right to choose providers. Member was not mislead or misinformed at any point during the process. However, it should be noted that Member has stated that she received services on 8/11 which she did not.

Description of Work: My screened porch was filthy. My four cats spend a lot of time out there and their litter boxes are there. They shed and throw up hairballs. The porch hadn't been cleaned since a year ago in the spring, so pine pollen had accumulated, too. I called this company on Saturday, the 6th, leaving a message and thought they would not return the call until Monday. A woman called back that same day and set up an appointment for cleaning on Wednesday, the 10th. She said they would honor the Angie's List special. Two ladies (I was expecting men) arrived promptly as scheduled. I showed them what I wanted done and they set to work. They did everything I asked and were efficient. The only thing they didn't do, I didn't ask for and wish I had! The porch is clean and I can have my coffee out there again. I am pleased. The price I paid is the $69.00 Angie's List special plus tax. They swept and mopped the floor, put a new rug which I had laid out, under the litter boxes, cleaned all the furniture and replaced it, gathered small objects and put them in the baskets which were out there. The ladies were pleasant to deal with, too.

Employees were very responsive - both the office person who scheduled the appointment and the 2 women who performed the cleaning. Arrived on time and worked non stop for 2 hours. This was a discount cleaning coupon. Work was generally good and they did ask for inspection and were willing to correct any missed spots. As we were planning the cleaning priorities, I was informed that the "coupon" cleaning did not include the stove-top/oven. This was not made clear in the offering and seems an important part of cleaning a kitchen. Dusting was adequate but not as thorough as other services I have used. Very good cleaning of the Master Bath. Kitchen cabinets were all wiped down as well.

My husband bought the BIG DEAL for me a couple of weeks ago and I decided to use it for the day before my mother came to visit. "Of course I keep it this clean ALL the time, Mom!" Since I hadn't ever hired a cleaning service in this house before, I really didn't know how much could be accomplished in the 4 man hours that came with the deal. I was really impressed by how much they managed to get done, and how well it was done. No, they didn't get the whole house deep down clean. But they did get the rooms I asked them to clean, and they did them thoroughly. If only I could have hired them for another 4 hours! Then the house would be spotless! Great Job!

Needless to say, I was very disappointed with the "service". I don't feel like anything was "cleaned"......what was touched was wiped and smeared, if it was touched at all. This is the opposite experience that I had with another highly rated Angie's List BIG DEAL housecleaning company that I paid $75 for 4 hours . They did an excellent job and truly went above and beyond.
Description of Work: I paid $69 to Angie"s List for this BIG DEAL highly rated housecleaning company for 4 hours of housecleaning. 2 women showed up on time at 1pm and left at 2:20pm. They wiped off the counters and sinks in 2.5 bathrooms, wiped out the tub and shower and toilets but not the tiled bath floors. They didn't clean the faucets or hardware. They ran the vacuum around the 2 carpeted bedrooms but skipped the carpeted bath, stairs and rugs on the hardwood floor in the living/dining area. They swept part of the tiled half bath, hallway and kitchen. They ran the broom around the living room/dining area hardwood floor, then ran the mop around some of the hardwood floor.The counters in the kitchen and the stove were wiped off and smeared. The sinks, sink surround and faucet were not touched. The dining room table was sprayed with a cleaning fluid and wiped off. Furniture and upholstery in the master bedroom, living/dining room was not touched or dusted.

First and foremost, we are sadden to hear that Member felt that the services provided were inadequate or did not meet her standards. However, we are completely shocked because Member never expressed dissatisfaction during or after the services were completed. Prior to arriving at Member home we asked which areas she would be interested in having cleaned, Member was very vague as to what she wanted. Additionally, upon arriving Member was once again asked what services she wanted and again was very vague. Memberdid, however state that she was only concerned with the bathrooms upstairs not her bedroom. Therefore, it is unfair to remark about services that were specifically stated that we should overlook. It is impossible to live up to expectations that were never clearly stated. It is our policy that once a job is completed the clients are taken back into the areas that were cleaned and asked that they inspect those areas for approval. Once the inspection is completed if there are any areas that are not cleaned to the customers’ satisfaction we go back over those areas until the customer is happy. Member never once expressed dissatisfaction or unhappiness with the services. In fact, she stated that “I’m so happy that you all are here every little bit helps and that the house smells clean already." Furthermore, once the ladies had completed the job she smiled and thanked them for their services. Member never contacted our offices to express her dissatisfaction with our services, so we had no idea she was unhappy. It is always our aim to please and go further and beyond our clients expectations. It is very unfortunate that this was not the case on this occasion. We have spoken with the ladies involved and we are making the necessary adjustments so that this never happens again.

I made this appointment when Martin and his teammate were painting for my condo and they did a fantastic job, so I had them back to clean up the condo for sale. Again they did a great. They were very careful and paid attention to details. When I walked into the condo after getting off work, it was like walking into a new house. I couldn't recognize it and I didn't want to recognize it. I think with Martin and his company's help making my condo look beautiful, I can sale it soon!

Since I'm very particular with my color of paint, I picked up the paint and the supplies from Home Depot the day before this project. I actually met Martin and his teammate two days ago when they helped me move out of my condo. I'm trying to sell my condo, so I want the rooms to be bright and looked new. Martin and his company did another fantastic job with painting my condo. They didn't even have to use tapes to paint the edges. They did it all by brushes and with care. I like how the condo looks. I am also trying out their cleaning service next. Then my condo will be completely ready for sale.

My friends were going to help me with moving, but due to unforeseen changes, I had to move up my moving date a week ahead, so all of a sudden I was left with no help. Martin and his teammate came the same day I requested the service. I called his company at 8:30 am and Martin and his teammate showed up at a my door by 10:10am! He even called me when he was on his way to my house! Then they immediately went to work. I live on the second floor and I have a huge recliner sofa with 3 seating. I had no idea how Martin and his company did it, but when I came back from throwing out some trash, they already got the recliner downstairs as I requested! They didn't make any damages to my furniture. Later during our second trip back to the condo for some more furniture (cause I rent a small UHaul), Martin told me they also do painting and cleaning. So I made an appointment for Monday to have them paint my whole house! I will definitely use them again!
