The first time they came, some of the corners were left undone, there are a couple of places the sander went too deep,and the finish was sloppy. Lee brought his crew back out & redid the corners and put a 2nd finish on (at an additional $150). The floor looks much better and is fine for a rental unit. Lee was nice about the whole thing but I honestly can't recommend their work if this was the house I lived in. I understand the floors are old and the old finish was hard but this is what they do.

Carpet stretching was good. They offer cleaning also that they called 'dry cleaning'. My carpet was very clean other than a few areas on house entry and around couch. After they 'cleaned' and the carpet dried, the spots were still present. They rushed through 2500 sq ft of carpet in 1 hour, hence the inadequate cleaning where it was needed. I will have to redo those areas.

My wife called me at work and said they wanted $987 to stretch the carpet. i talked to the contractor and he did 85% of the work for $400 he did the job and was gone in less than 2 hours

Given the number of 5 star reviews, I'm sure that Yessir Services provides exemplary customer service and value a majority of the time. Unfortunately, on this particular occasion, this wasn't necessarily the case. They replaced padding that had been removed after some water damage with padding that they had on hand. The padding they used was not the same thickness, and there were noticeable differences in and around where the old and new pads came together. Despite my concerns, when I pointed this out to the installer, he insisted that this "was all just mental" because I knew there were two different pads under the carpeting, but others who were unaware wouldn't notice. Having gone through multiple flood-related repairs and having the house torn up for a couple of weeks, I didn't have the strength to argue about it any longer and simply wanted them to be done and out the door. That was my mistake. Sure they offer a 1 year satisfaction guarantee, so I'll probably have them return to bring this up to my satisfaction, but that shouldn't be necessary. In hindsight, I should have insisted they show me the newly attached padding before re-attaching the carpeting and avoided the debate altogether. Customer service - in person, they are friendly and easy to deal with, but getting them to the house was a much more difficult proposition. Perhaps it was just a series of bad mobile phone connections, but they continually took my phone number and address down incorrectly and required multiple calls and texts before they seemed to get the gist of where to go and what to do when they got there. Value - Because the amount of padding that was replaced was located in 2 different rooms but when added together wouldn't have filled 1 room, they were flexible on their pricing and I was able to negotiate the price down some. However, this may be why I ended up with the result that I did.
