Description of Work: They cleaned the outside of the windows of my house. However, I purchased the Big Deal in the winter with the intention of having my windows cleaned before my daughter's wedding in June. They cancelled an appointment after the worker did not show up. They were unresponsive to my numerous attempts to contact them and re-schedule. The deal expired in July without them ever doing the service. I was very pleasantly surprised when they contacted me in August and said they would still clean the windows. The job was done well, the workers were very polite. The problem was with management and getting an appointment scheduled.

Description of Work: We were disappointed in our dealings with Waterworks, which is a shame because we found the company through Angie's List. Let me start with the positive - Jonathan was great to deal with over the phone. He was responsive and professional. I had to reschedule my initial pressure washing and window cleaning appointment and he did that for me easily. He thoroughly explained what to expect and that there would be extra charges because our house had many more windows than 40 (which was the deal I found on Angie's List). I had also decided to use Waterworks for pressure washing since my husband wanted that done before the windows were cleaned. Jonathan quoted me a price around $1000 for the pressure washing, which was $400 more than we paid last year, but assured me it would be worth the money. He thanked me several times for using Waterworks. | |On the day of the pressure washing in April, the technician was running late and did not call to inform me. The one guy shows up (James? I can't remember his name) for a 10,000 square foot estate sized home with an extensive yard, driveway and patio. I couldn't believe it. He looked to be in his early 20s and was not as professional as I had hoped. I was feeling disappointed. To his credit, he worked long and hard at our house and even moved some of our furniture to clean some places on the patio (which I helped him move because he was alone). He stayed until he was finished, but it was not a great job at all. The patio looked messy after he left and he made no attempt to clean up or follow up. Overall the pressure washing was a great disappointment. | |Then the windows were cleaned in May, Matthew came and he was on time and courteous. He showed up at my door, one man (again), and the first words out of his mouth were "we've got a problem". That's not the best way to greet a customer. It turns out he did not have a tall enough ladder on his truck to reach our 3rd story windows. He called the office and after talking with Jonathan (again, he was terrific on the phone), we decided to leave those windows for another time and that once they were done we would be billed for all the windows. That was not really a huge problem at all, it was just something we needed to resolve. I realize I should've spoken with Jonathan about my disappointment with the pressure washing immediately after it was done, but I did not. I was waiting to see if maybe the window work was going to be amazing in comparison. | |The window washing was not what I had hoped, either. It wasn't a bad job and I'm sure the windows are cleaner than they were, but there could've been more attention to detail. I still see many areas that look like they were "missed". | |The final round of window washing was the 3rd story windows on 8/11. I didn't mind that the summer had passed before those could get done. Jonathan remembered and called me to schedule. The tech arrived on time and did an adequate job, as did his predecessor. He removed a hanging screen from a doorway to my porch that I found the next day lying on the porch floor. It had not been replaced or even picked up. | |So here I sit, getting ready to pay my final invoice (for which I was inexplicably charged $105 for cleaning 35 screens. I never removed or asked for any screens to be cleaned). I'm unhappy, and really, it's not about the money. I don't plan to use Waterworks again.

Description of Work: They had to come out three times because the first time my deck had so many composted leaves on it, they were afraid of staining the siding with splashback. The second time they cleaned the deck, and then when they came back to seal it, I'd tried to cancel because we didn't get the furniture and stuff moved, but they didn't get the message. The tech moved everything, including two big shelves of succulent plants without a single loss. I recommend them highly.

Description of Work: I purchased to power wash short cement driveway with stains. This was a special deal offered to Angie members. Weeks passed after purchasing service and no date to provide service was offered. 6 weeks later I cancelled. Three weeks later I hear water running and discovered it was Waterworks, in the process of power washing drive way, unannounced, and performing service. Stains were not removed. Charged full amount.

Description of Work: Excellent job cleaning the driveway. In fact it was so cleaned that the concrete looked new. When the driveway was larger than I thought, the company informed us and commenced work and Bly with our full understanding and approval. We will use this company again!
