Waterworks Pressure Cleaning

Below is the email I sent the company on May 23. I received two emails from you on Wednesday, May 20. The first was at 4:29 pm reminding me of my appointment on June 1. The second was at 4:40 (below) telling me that you had rescheduled me for yesterday the 22nd. No one showed up yesterday. I purchased this service on Angie's List on April 11 and have been waiting patiently for you to get the job done for well over a month now. I really needed my gutters cleaned at the time I made the purchase and had no idea that it would take this long or I would have never paid for your services. This has been my first and only purchase since I joined Angie's List, and I am astonished by the lack of customer service I am receiving. I wish I had not spent my money to join the list and I especially wish I hadn't paid to have your company clean my gutters in early April. I would have been much better off to select someone from the Yellow Pages, and would have had it done and over with long ago - for a cheaper price! I'm sure you understand my frustration with this situation. Please contact me asap and let me know exactly when you will be here to provide the service I paid you for long ago. Oh, and please don't tell me again, " We always do our best to meet our scheduling goals but as you know, sometimes things happen that could delay the schedule (weather, equipment, vehicles, etc). If anything changes between now and your scheduled date, we will notify you of these changes." I've received that message loud and clear from you three or four times now. I understand that things happen; however, I am not interested in flimsy excuses any longer. I would like to know a firm date in which you will clean my gutters, and I would like it to be VERY soon. I have waited patiently for going on two months now.

Both employees called before coming & arrived within the time described. Both were professional and courteous.

Called with no appointment and showed up...Pressure washed house but missed several spots...broke several of my walkway lights and left a film on my clean windows...terrible job overall...

I purchased this service on April 21st and an automatic email was sent to me to fill out a form. I completed the form and sent it in immediately. I have since sent two messages to them now 30 days later requesting that they actually do the work that I have already paid for. No response at all. Are they stealing my money?

They didn't give me a time frame and just showed up but they did the job and completed in no time.

Waterworks did an excellent job and I plan to use them again.

Work performed as advertized in a satisfactory manner.

Awful, and some of this should fall on Angie's List for putting this company on their deals.

I have not heard from this company after paying up front for gutters to be cleaned.

After issues with communication and scheduling, I have requested a refund from Angie's List.

I thought they were going to hose out the gutters to clean/flush them out but when he got here he asked if there were any problem areas and then all he did was go around with his ladder to spot check a couple of places. If he found debris by gloved hand he'd pull out the large pieces that were clogging the top of the gutter. I know at least one of my downspouts was still clogged when they were finished but it wasn't worth fighting over. I have a 2400 sq ft home but he was in and out in 15 minutes or less, I don't see how they could possibly be "clean" in that short time. I'd hate to be a person who paid full price instead of the Angie's List price.

When purchased deal they sent an email with a questionnaire. I filled it out and was given a date of service. Day of service I wasn't sure they came and contacted company. Quick response via email. Apparently someone took the card they left in my door that said they had been there. They did such a good job I didn't notice the clean out of debris and thought they didn't come. Only issue was I wanted the down spout reattached and it wasn't. They came out next day and were extremely nice and reattached the down spout. It rained yesterday and I notice significant improvement in the drainage from the gutters.

Took a long time to get back to me and only respond via email.

The company sent a prompt email after I purchased the deal. It had all the information about scheduling, additional services, etc. I requested a time range and they were able to meet it. I paid $15 on top of the $69 deal to have them take away the debris. They stuck to their schedule and completed the work while I was not at home. All in all, very straight forward and they did a good job. I would recommend!

I will start by saying, that today May 15th, Waterworks Pressure Cleaning came out to "make it right". I thank them for that. The young men that appeared "without notice" but were polite and seemed to understand the issue I reported. They've been eager to get it taken care of for me. So that the company can address these issues: Overall, I give a B because they came back to make it right as the job was not done to my satisfaction. Price, B was fair for job they performed. Quality, B Having to come back is not really good. Responsiveness, C but I want to give an F because they never call back and the last time I had to get out of bed with a bad back to deal with the workers. Punctuality, NA they didn't respond to request to schedule or let me know ahead of time that they were coming. Professionalism, B customer service I spoke to and the workers I met were very courteous. They just didn't impress me as professional. Hope this helps.

The price was right, but the service was not up to my standards. I purchased an Angie's List Deal and immediately tried to setup a date and time for service. It took nearly 3 months to get the work completed. They where slow at communicating. I suspect the Angie deal overwhelmed them. They visited my home and cleaned my roof and gutters. They left my gutters dirty and in several joints I can still see debris in the gutters. Additionally the gutters are extremely dirty on the outside after the cleaning. A brief discussion over email was not helpful in resolving my displeasure so I will not use them in the future.

We pre-paid $69 for a home gutter cleaning service special. The details said the company would call in a couple days to schedule the service but no one ever called to schedule an appt. Three weeks went by, and since no one ever contacted me by email or phone, I had forgotten that we pre-paid for this service. After realizing that I forgotten about this purchase I called the number which rang several times and eventually went to voicemail. The answering system instructed me to leave a message however at the end of the message the answering system just cut off without allowing me leave a message. Tried again same result. So we disputed the charge with my credit card company.

As far as I know it went great! They came while we were away, and everything seems to be functioning just fine.

I have a downspout that is not draining so the water in the gutter just overflows, this is very visible since it is right next to my driveway, So when I saw that Waterworks was offering a service to correct this exact problem at a reasonable price I quickly purchased the deal. They did arrange a time to come out and it appears they did show up, but they never left any evidence that they did anything. They did make it very clear that nobody needed to be home for them to perform the work (since it is all outside and prepaid) but I would have expected to see something that let me know what they did, what problems they fixed etc... About a week after they claim they did the work we had a heavy rain and I noticed that the downspout that was clogged and caused me to have the work done was still not draining. So I called Waterworks and told them the work had not been done. They were very nice on the phone and they told me they would come back out and fix it. A month later I notice the downspout is still not draining and I call them again. They tell me they will fix it, but I have not seen any evidence that they every returned or did any additional work to fix the problem. So as far as I can tell, I paid them $75 and have nothing to show for it. I still have the same problem I had when I first called them. So I would not recommend them and feel they did not perform the work they were paid to do.

After I called them and left a message, no one answered, shocker. I was emailed another form letter with an attachment to fill out in order to get service. It stated they were scheduling 3-4 weeks out. I bought this 3 weeks ago so if they would have responded promptly I could have filled out the scheduling form then. They also nickel and dime you. BEWARE! Charge extra to clean up. This should be standard in a gutter cleaning. Who wants that nasty stuff left on their yard??!! I will attempt to get my money back and hopefully can from Angies list. This is disappointing. You think you can trust a company with a good rating from Angies List but this is my second bad experience. I have to say I will think twice before using Angies List again.

Went great. they power washed the deck, gave it time to dry and came out a couple of weeks later to stain it...

From the get go, this service was very poor. Communication between the company and me was miniscule and required that I be the initiator. I purchased the service in February and the work was not completed until May 4. Even with the delays in weather, this simple job should not have taken 2 1/2 months. To say I am dissapointed is putting it lightly--by the time the sealing and staining was completed, it had been a month since it was cleaned, so of course it was dirty again. When the technician finally came out to seal/stain, he did call in advance but didn't leave a message, so the second call I received was when he was there and itr was somewhat problematic because my dogs were out. The sealing and staining was very poorly done--it is spoty in many places, and there are boot prints. Anyone can tell that the work was completed hastily, and without regard as to the quality of the job. I would never recommend this company to anyone based on my experience.

I would have expected far better from a company that was rated as an "A" in Angie's List. Won't be using this firm for any service in the future.
