The Hauling Men

The service that they provided went really well. The only thing that I did not like was the fact that they had extra service charges that I was not aware of. I would recommend this company and use them again in the future.

It was fine. They did a perfectly adequate job. It’s no big deal, all they did was pick up a few things. They came in, picked the stuff up and carried it out to the truck. We didn’t have to take it out to the street, which was nice. They actually did all the heavy lifting. So that’s pretty good! We found some extra stuff in the garage for them and they did charge us extra for that. It was originally 79, I think, for the big deal and then, I think, it was another 20 to take the extra items from the garage. They were very responsive, they were available and answered the phone. They were on time. I wish they had better hours though. I wish they could do it either earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon so we didn't have to leave work to meet them but that's the way it rolls. They were very punctual and they kept us posted where they were and how close they were to getting there and everything. So they're very good at that. When I asked them to keep their shoes clean they did a very good job!

It worked out well. They were pretty good. I was really pleased with the service. I would use them again in the future.

They came out and hauled away what I needed them to. It was a pretty quick process. I had my stuff in the garage where they basically just came in and scooped it up. It was easy to get to. They didn't have to go up any stairs or anything. They filled up the back of their little trailer. They had like two or three guys there to move everything. The whole thing took about five minutes, less probably. Everything I needed them to take away, they took away. Everything went good. I was pleased with the service. I probably didn't have enough junk to justify the $79. It's nice to have the convenience of having somebody just come and grab it. For the amount they took away, it would've probably been about $50 worth. I just didn't have enough to do a full load.

They did a fine job in a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable price.

The Hauling Men were fine. They were on time and hauled the stuff off. I had no problems. They were dependable and on time.

They came out immediately - had actually made an appointment for approx. one week away and he called and said they were in the neighborhood and asked if they could come out same day. Another business I called said that the first appointment they had was almost 2 months away so VERY happy that I could get this done asap. They took away lots of limbs that had accumulated and gave me a good price on hauling away a very heavy trailer. Have not done that yet, but will.

They were great. The "deal" we purchased was for 4 cubic yards. It's hard to visualize that when you are looking at things like box springs and wood. At any rate, there was no problem. They did not question the items we asked them to haul away or the quantity. They set up a 2-hour window, and called us 30 minutes ahead of time. I can't imagine how a service like this could be better. The price was good, the people were very punctual and nice. They took everything we asked and the entire process didn't take 20 minutes. I would highly recommend them.

The ad stated that they would pick up junk wherever it was located. Instead of making them go all around the house and yard picking up what we wanted to discard,I piled it into a neat pile about 30 yards off my driveway by the daylight entrance to my basement. The apparent leader of the crew immediately told me there would be an additional charge for moving the material to their truck on my driveway. I complained that the ad did not read that way. He reluctantly agreed to remove the debris based on the price from Angie's List but pouted about it the entire time, AS I helped them move it all. There was nothing heavier than bed rails. I felt like he was using Angie's List to get his foot in the door and then banking on up-charging people upon arrival.

Overall my experience was good and I would use this company again if they were offering another good deal like this one. Communication wasn't great when we tried to schedule pickup the first time, and it led to the pickup not happening. (Reason for Professionalism B instead of A) However, when we called back they were quick to resolve and got us on the pick up schedule for the next day. They showed up on time and were in & out within 15 minutes. There were no issues with their acceptance of the Angie's List deal coupon. I feel like we got a good value from the Hauling Men.

They provided me a good service and I like it. I did pay them extra because we had a bit more than we paid for before but just a bit not much.They answered the phone, they were fast to answer. They just had a bit of a problem to come because it was raining a lot at that time so they rescheduled but for me it wasn't a problem. It's a kind of job that they have to do only if it's not raining. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I purchased a big deal for The Hauling Men. Had them come to the house and haul away some items. They did a nice job,was on schedule and cleaned up well when completed.

I called on a Monday after having gotten their name from Angie's list. They had great reviews and I can see why! They arrived the next morning with a truck and a crew, surveyed what had to be loaded, offered me a fair price and began their work! They were VERY professional and careful moving old wrought iron furniture and a lot of other yard and fence debris passed shrubs, fences and cars. Finished in less than an hour and made it all fit in the truck. As I was looking through the back yard, I discovered a few additional items while they were loading and they took those items as well, no problem! Great job, great crew, would recommend them to anyone and will certainly use them again.

First of all, I was scheduled for 3 pm on June 3rd, and said they were sorry and would be right there. Then they said I was actually scheduled for the 8th, but they came out anyway. When they got here at four, the desk, credenza, and a hutch were too heavy for three people.

They carried out all that I wanted them to take. I have never used any service as this before so I do not know if they were the best or not.

Arrived on time. Hauled away a large truck full of junk.

Price was comparable to taking the materials to the dump myself. Well worth it.

The guys from the Hauling Men, showed up on time, were very kind and professional. They knew exactly how to handle our oversized mirror. We will be calling on them again after the kids move out.

It was a good experience all in all. I was surprised to find out that the special only included enough to take away only a treadmill and a elliptical machine. The ad details were pretty vague. It would be helpful in the future if they actually stated a weight limit or cubic inches. It only said a "third of the truck". I wasn't sure how big a "truck" was.

Pick up all the items during the time frame he stated. Picked up a couple of things that would have been more and didn't charge. He was in and out in a timely manner. Excellent customer service!!!
