Dont use this company. They overcharge and take advantage of their customers.i enrolled in their membership program because the website stated that they would come out and assess the hvac unit for free. It seemed to good to be true so i called them and made sure, and they agreed with the statement. Lo and behold, the “expert” came and after an hour of looking around a bit, charged me 82 dollars for a service free. I told him that i was told there would be no service fee, and even called customer service. The customer service lady told me that the employee that told me that the service fee would be waived wasn't allowed to make that statement. These guys are obviously running a scam.

BEWARE OF ALL THE POSITIVE REVIEWS on Google . They are not Real PLEASE GO TO YELP OR ANGIELIST.!!!!!!! I had this company come to my home to essentially replace my air duct. A salesman by the name of Eric Edmondson came to quote me a price he estimated the price to be $400 to replace both ducts I told him that that seemed very pricey for such a small job but he insisted that it was a complex job that would take up to 4 to 5 hours and clearly me being ignorant and believing what this man stated to me I agreed to this company doing the job. Because from my perspective he made it seem like they were doing so much and he convinced me it would take a very long time because it was going to be a hard job I agreed because it sounded like a great price for what they were doing but when the engineer got to my home to fulfill the job it took him less than 30 minutes to complete the job that Eric had told me was OH so difficult to do. When I brought it to his attention that it seems like he misled me when quoting the price and that the price was absolutely a finesse he stated it to me that the materials and labor is what I am paying for and he told me that they also arrange their schedule around to squeeze me in but this was not an emergency there was nothing wrong with my AC this was simply just maintenance or cosmetic if you will… so I thought it was ironic for him to throw that in. ALSO he said the duct that was being replaced in my home cost $280-300$ I looked up this exact brand it is called “royal flexible duct” and for a 6 foot duct it is only $40 and for a 4 foot duct it is 16$… Labor if that is 100$ Which is a whooping 146$ For the job but I think 250$ for this job would also have even been reasonable based on the time it took to complete and the material cost. I also spoke to the engineering manager who said that typically they charge 350$ each per duct no matter the size and he believed he was doing me a “favor” by only charging me an additional $50 for the 4 foot one. But truthfully he’s missing the point clearly his job is to sell things and that’s exactly what he did he sold a price and he made it sound great and it’s really not about how long it took or didn’t took it’s the matter of the fact that in all reality this is not a $400 worth job but clearly this is a business and that’s what business do so I should not have expected anything more from them I was bamboozled and it is what it is.

I contacted Peachtree Service Experts since they were the company plastered all over my unit from the previous owners of the house to get a quote/estimate on possibly moving the unit to a different area of the basement. Appt was scheduled for today 8-11am. 11:01 am rolls around and no tech or phone call. I called to find out what was going on. Female representative was very friendly and apologized. She then stated that she has reached out to dispatch and asked for them to give me a call to give me an ETA on the technician. It is now 11:47 am and STILL no call to give an ETA. I called back and I get a male representative. He was also very friendly and apologetic. I explained to the rep that I have another appt this afternoon and if the tech can't make it by 1pm then I would need to reschedule. He put me on hold for a brief moment. He came back and stated that he personally spoke to the scheduler/dispatcher for the technician and they are trying to get a hold of him now and that the dispatcher would contact me immediately with an ETA of the tech once they reached him. It is now 12:54 and STILL no call from anyone. At this point, I'm over this company. I called back and canceled the appointment. The ONLY reason I called this company is because they were the ones who installed and serviced the unit from the previous homeowner. Everyone/company wants to use this pandemic as an excuse for lack of professionalism BUT this pandemic DOES NOT hinder communication. If this is how they communicate with new customers, I can only imagine how they communicate with existing customers. DO NOT recommend!

I have exclusively used Peachtree Service Experts (PSE) for my AC maintenance contract since i purchased my newly built home 2 years ago. In summary, I have experienced a very low level of competency in their AC technicians and lack of concern for customers. About 1.5 months ago, a service tech (for annual/routine maintenance contract) told me that he broke his tool trying to remove the C&D refrigerant lock on my AC unit. He also said that he had never seen such a lock and that the original AC installer (from 2 years ago) must have put it on to deter other AC companies from servicing the AC unit. i found that strange since PSE had been the only company servicing the unit for past 2 yrs (since it was new) and they never had an issue removing it before. 2 weeks later my AC went out in the middle of summer with my 86 yr old parents living in the home. PSE came out and said they could not fix the AC since they could not remove one of the C&D locks to check the Freon. I pleaded with the tech to please call a manager or supervisor, and not leave my 86 yr old parents in 90 degree heat, but he said all supervisors/managers were on vacation and best he could do was leave a message for them to call me. No one called. After a few hours of waiting and also calling the PSE customer care center to ask to speak to a manager/supervisor about this situation, but again all on vacation, i called Reliable Heat/air. Reliable came out within an hour and fixed the AC by replacing the capacitor (note that the PSE service tech completely missed such diagnosis and said nothing he could do and just left!). Also, Reliable alerted/showed me immediately that the C&D lock had been broken by a prior service tech (which must be PSE since they have been the only company servicing the unit past 2 years/since new) and PSE would need to try to remove the lock safely or it would cost $1,000 to replace the entire part. Since then, i have spoken to multple PSE customer service employees and each said they would have a manager call me, but no one ever did. I have been very professional and respectful with all PSE employees, but the same courtesy has not been reciprocated: 1) One of the PSE employees called me Sweetie, sweetheart and honey within first 1 min of the call (and i kindly asked them to please call me by my name), 2) another promised if i sent an email of my issues/facts to him (which i did within an hour) he would have the general manager call me the next day, but no one called me - he even said he would call me back to confirm the GM called, but the customer care person did not call back, 3) i have spoken to many other customer care employees and 2 others disconnected the phone when I asked them to please give me the name of a manager or have a manager call me. I still have had no call from a manager, or any response to my lengthy email detailing the facts, including actions & dates. I have never before dealt with a company that has such poor customer service and incompetent service technicians (including completely misdiagnosing why the AC was not working and no concern for my 86 yr old parents - they just left and no one called, and the dishonor of not owning up to breaking a part on the AC unit as well....which still needs to be fixed!!).

Do NOT even consider using Peachtree. Read the reviews with The BBB and on YELP before you read these reviews that can be written by the company employees, friends and fake reviews! This company is quick to take on a job, three times more expensive and they did not do all of the work that I had received on the invoice. All that they did was change the outside condenser and did not replace the Heatpump nor do the added duct work. In fact, they didn't even check out the duct flow throughout the house. We found the the ducts were not bringing any air flow to the second floor. They are impossible to have a call or email returned IF you receive one of the many numbers, email addresses and names once you have paid and find out that they put in a size 3 1/2 ton when you only needed 2.5 ton. They actually blocked my emails. The charges were nearly $12,500 which should have been half the price for a Goodman. They settled a price of $4200.00 after I filed a complaint/ mitigation with The BBB .I am a 67 year old woman that they took advantage of because I don't have a husband to understand. They underestimated this SENIOR CITIZEN! Then Peachtree called their finance company and had Service Finance Company change the owed amount to 8k and then to 12.5I. I refused to sign. They are incredibly incompetent and don't know what they are doing. PLEASE, buyer Beware and educate yourself by reading other reviews on BBB and YELP. I have so much more to Express about the work done. There isn't enough space to say it all. Absolutely nothing positive about this company .Thieves.

I feel this company was not honest and took advantage of my parents. They installed gigantic air conditioners on their house, which are probably the same ones used on large buildings. I've never seen such huge units on a two story house. Though everything runs well, the cost was outrageous!!

This is what I just posted on their site. Just had our last "service call" from PSE. I used quotations because using the term "service call" for what happens when someone comes out from PSE is a joke. Every year I tell my husband NOT to bring PSE out, and this year is it. No more. PSE installed our air conditioning unit nine years ago. One year after that, the unit quit working. PSE gave us a "deal" (another joke) on fixing it. After a routine "service call" a year or so ago from PSE, I noticed water leaking from the ceiling. Turns out the water was leaking because the hoses or pipes (installed by PSE) were not connected properly. PSE send another tech out to fix, LOL, but never reimbursed us for the damage to our ceiling. Against my wishes and better judgement, the husband "took advantage" (I'm a regular comedian today) of the $69 service special. What did he get for this $69, you ask? An attempt to upsell us several pounds of freon because we're low. No actual work other than spraying the outside unit with a garden hose took place. I read this: An AC doesn’t “use up” refrigerant. So you should never need to recharge your air conditioner with more Freon—unless there’s a leak. I asked my husband if the guy discussed fixing a leak. He told me the guy said he would have to fill up with freon (minimum five pounds) to see if there even was a leak. What? I am beyond disgusted at this point. I actually want to put a stop payment on the check, but my husband says let it go. Fine. I'm also letting PSE go permanently. I do not trust you. I think you're at best scammers and at worst actually damaging property to ensure a future malfunction. My husband said he watched the guy the whole time, but he wasn't with him in the attic. If ANYTHING happens related to the air conditioner after this "service call," I'm calling a lawyer.

I have never had any problems to not use them. They are quite good. I have never had been suggest something that I thought that doesn't need to be done. They haven't. Not like somebody has come up to me and said. I haven't had a need to question. They are proactive. They tell me when its time to come. They come when they say they are going to come. We have an annual contract with them so they are out twice a year for preventive maintenance. It also gives us priority on service calls and we don't charged on weekend and night service calls. They are a fairly large company so we get a new service guy each visit who has to relearn our system. Not that our system is unique but if there is a little nuance or something found we have to begin the conversation all over again.

We were really let down and disappointed by Service Experts, formerly Peach Tree Heating and Air. I had the house on the market this spring and sold it and during inspection we found the furnace downstairs was leaking carbon monoxide and they had been out one month earlier doing a bi annual inspection to make sure everything was working good and there were no problems. That is a health and safety issue. We had to replace the furnace. For someone to come out and not find that leak is very bad. They didn't do their job. It was horrible.

Installation done in "record" time (4 hours!). Upstairs AC was installed incorrectly and condensation pan leaked onto attic floor and down through ceiling of office, onto computer etc. It took 3 workmen three separate visits to fix the problem. PE re-painted the office ceiling. A few days later it was discovered that the gas line was leaking from outside the basement via a compromised register valve. Atlanta Gas Light had to replace the register and all of the meters. Rebate from Lenox ($1,000) never arrived, had to call PE three times. What should have arrived in 4 weeks took 12. Oh yes, salesman is no longer with the company. Not happy....
