Mr. Givens came to give me an estimate the day I called him and the work was done the next day. The men did an excellent job.

Larry was prompt in setting up an appointment and providing an estimate. He followed up a couple of days after providing the estimate. We ended up using another company that our neighbor had used, but Larry's price was quite competitive and I feel confident that his company would have done a good job.

My husband was not involved at all in this project. I, alone, dealt with the owner and crew. The owner(Larry Givens) was very fair and nice to deal with. His crew was amazing. They didn't show up very early but they worked until dark. They seem to take a lot of pride in thier work. They never rushed just to get finished early. I had a leg injury at the time and wasn't in the best of moods and they never seemed perturbed with me and did exactly what I wanted. If they found wood that they felt needed replacing, they always asked me to come out, look and make the decision. They were always right. I'm not remodeling to sell.I want the best so it will last. I believe they use a really good product and my house looks brand new. When I'm ready to repaint the interior in a couple of months,they get the job.

It's taken a lot of prep work, and these guys don't slide. When they find more rotted wood, they make sure I see it so I know that they're not ripping me off. They've done an excellent job, and they know I want it done right. They're not the cheapest, but they do great work and have good attitudes. It's gorgeous.

Larry Givens and his team are very professional, arrive when they say they will, and do a terrific job. They also cleaned up after themselves. It was a pleasure to do business with them. The price was very fair.

Larry showed up in the evening of the same day we initially spoke to give me an estimate and was able to do the job the next morning. The work was excellent and very professionally done. The price was reasonable and fair. This is the second time I've used Larry for drywall work at my house.

Larry came out to give me a quote on Saturday and had two people out by Tuesday to complete the work. Workers stayed until 9 PM to finish work. I will definitely use them again for any future painting.

We were very pleased with the work that Larry's crew did. The work was scheduled within a week after we received our estimate. Crew was extremely thorough with prep work, painting and clean-up. The job was finished in 5 days with the crew even working on July 4th! It was obvious that the crew took pride in their work.

Mr. Givens returned my initial call the next day. Was out to give me an estimate the day after. Once the pressure washers finished their work, the painters arrived the next day and completed the job in three days. All work areas were left clean. Minor damage was done to the planted areas next to the house, and I have extensive flower beds!

They were impossible to contact. Constant phone tag.

At first Larry was very professional about scheduling a time for him to come out and give a estimate. I had mentioned to him I would be home all day for the day he wanted to schedule to come in. He had mentioned he would be there around noon. Larry had never showed up, nor called about his lack of missing his scheduled appointment.

They did an excellent job. The patch in not noticeable. They worked fast and kept the dust to a minimum.

I received estimate from Larry. I called him to set up a time for him to perform work on fence, deck and porch areas. The interior stairway estimate was almost $500. I told Larry I thought it was a high price since I was providing the paint. Larry said he probably made a mistake and included the materials. I tried to set an appointment for the exterior work to be performed. Larry said he would call me back. Larry called me back 2 days later. I returned Larry's phone call. I went to schedule the exterior work. Larry said he underestimated the exterior estimate. When I first spoke to Larry he was willing to do the exterior work when it was convenient for me. This time when I went to schedule the work he said he could not do it for 4-5 weeks. I tried to set a date and he said he could not set a date. I asked Larry if he still wanted to perform the work and he said no. I believe this is a very poor and unprofessional way to be if you are on the Angie's List preferred list.

I was informed by Larry Gives that he doesn't do the dry wall work that I needed done.

I had several openings in the drywall ceilings/walls of my living and dining rooms that the company patched. These were left over from some old can lights I removed, some air vents that had been re-routed, and some openings that had to be cut when we replaced the HVAC ductwork. They did a great job on the patches. They were methodical about the work and did not rush to complete the job. The work was very professional, and once painted, the patched areas will be undetectable.

Larry is the best contractor I've ever worked with. He is friendly, honest, and does what he promises. His workers are very good at what they do. I highly recommend him and will hire him for my next job.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK, AND THEIR REPAIR METHOD GENERATED VERY LITTLE DUST, WHICH I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED ABOUT. IT DID TAKE A LONG TIME TO GET ON THEIR SCHEDULE, AND THEY DID MISS ONE APPOINTMENT (A PREVIOUS JOB WENT OVERTIME). BUT I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN FOR THE QUALITY OF WORK AND PRICE PAID. THEY ARE DEFINITELY WORTH WAITING FOR.

MADE ARRANGEMENTS FOR HIM TO COME AND GIVE AN ESTIMATE. WAS ON TIME FOR APPOINTMENT, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND UP WITH CURRENT PAINTING FASHION. HOWEVER, NEVER SENT ME AN ESTIMATE UNTIL I CALLED HIM. ESTIMATE WAS VERY GOOD BUT I DIDN'T USE HIM.

MR. GIVENS RESPONDED AND CAME OUT TO DO AN ESTIMATE. HE DECIDED THAT WHAT WE WANTED WAS BEYOND HIS EXPERTISE, AND HE REFERRED US TO ANOTHER CONTRACTOR WHO HE FELT COULD DO THE JOB. WE HAVE CONSULTED WITH HIS REFERRAL AND WERE QUITE PLEASED WITH HIS EXPERTISE.

I HAVE OTHER BIDS AT LESS THAN HALF OF HIS ESTIMATE. THE COMPETITORS ARE KNOWN TO ME TO BE EXCELLENT PAINTERS WHOSE REFERENCES WERE REVIEWED. LARRY MAY BE GOOD BASED ON INFO HERE, BUT HE SURE IS OUT OF LINE WITH HIS ESTIMATES.

THE PAINTERS WERE EXCELLENT CRAFTSMEN WHO SEEMED TO ENJOY THEIR WORK. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. GAVE A LOT OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL. OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH GIVENS WAS EXCEPTIONAL.

THE JOB WAS COMPLETED IN A DAY. I WAS SKEPTICAL THAT THE JOB COULD BE COMPLETED IN A DAY SINCE THE WORK INCLUDED RE-TAPING DRYWALL. THE TWO PAINTERS COMPLETED THE JOB IN 10 HOURS. CLEANUP WAS VERY GOOD. MR. GIVENS WAS HAPPY TO PROVIDE CUSTOMER REFERRALS, BUT THEY WERE ALL FOR EXTERIOR JOBS. AFTER A BIT OF PHONE TAG WE GOT SOME REFERRALS FOR INTERIOR WORK AND WERE SATISFIED TO ORDER THE WORK.
