Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List Big Deal for deck pressure washing & refinishing. Severin, who runs Deck Domain, visited shortly thereafter--in February or March--to look at the deck. Since the deck was larger than the Big Deal would cover, he developed an estimate for the additional work plus some trellis repair which I requested. For reasons of my schedule, I postponed the work until June. I had some difficulty reaching him then (thus the B for punctuality), but, once I did, he came punctually to pressure wash one day & do the refinishing the 2nd day. I initially wondered about the cost of the additional work, but he did a superb job, clearly worth what I paid. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of work of any kind on a deck.

Description of Work: Severin did exactly what he promised to do, make our deck look new. He stripped deck completely then put on beautiful coat of oil based stain. Description of Work: I contacted several contractors from Angies list and chose Mr. Assomoi. He was on time for the estimate. He suggested that I also do a wood retaining wall that I overlooked. He gave me a price for powerwashing and then sealing our deck, stairs and retaining wall. He explained exactly what materials he would use on the deck. He arrived on schedule for the work. He completed the work as scheduled and called to make sure that I was pleased with the job a couple of days after the job was finished. I was very pleased with his work.

Description of Work: The price was extremely reasonable. He pressure washed my privacy fence and deck. He did a great job. He then sealed everything with a very good oil-based sealer. It has been a few months, and the work is wonderful. One of the best jobs I have had done.

Description of Work: Excellent. Severin came the same day we called and gave us an estimate. He returned approximately 1 week later to clean the deck and came back the following Monday to stain the deck. Very thorough and dependable. In this world where people promise and advertise they have good service and don't deliver, it's a joy to have someone like Severin that does do what he says he will do and perform the job beautifully.

Description of Work: Severin pressured washed, and restained our deck. He was by far the best repair person we have ever had. He is very knowledgeable, and personable...and his rates were great. Severin is a very, very hard working and detailed in his work. He even cleaned and restained our wood lawn chairs free of charge. We would definitely hire him again and recommend him. I wish he did other home repairs as well - we would definitely call him!

+ -1 moreSEVERIN DID A GREAT JOB AND EVEN RECOMMENDED A COLOR THAT WORKED VERY WELL. HE FINISHED THE JOB QUICKER THAN EXPECTED. UNFORTUNATELY IT RAINED THE NEXT DAY AND RUINED THE STAIN ON THE EXPOSED DECK; IT BECAME ROUGH-LOOKING. AS SOON AS THE WEATHER WAS DRY AGAIN, SEVERIN CAME BACK AND FINISHED THE JOB. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH HIS WORK AND INTEND TO HIRE DECK DOMAIN AGAIN FOR PERIODIC MAINTENANCE. I DOWNGRADED HIS PROFESSIONALISM SCORE ONLY BECAUSE HE SEEMED TO HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME FINDING THE CORRECT NUMBER TO CONTACT ME AND I FREQUENTLY DIDN'T GET THE MESSAGE HE WAS COMING UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. SINCE I DIDN'T NEED TO BE THERE WHILE HE WAS WORKING THIS DIDN'T MATTER TO ME. ALSO HE DIDN'T ASK FOR MY PHONE NUMBER WHEN I INITIALLY CONTACTED HIM, SO I WASN'T SURE HOW PROFESSIONAL OR ORGANIZED HE WOULD BE, BUT IT TURNS OUT HE DID JUST FINE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

HE DID EVERYTHING HE SAID HE WOULD, CLEANED UP AFTER DOING THE WORK, AND SPENT A LOT OF HOURS DOING THE JOB RIGHT. HE DIDN'T STOP UNTIL THE JOB WAS DONE, SHOWED UP ON THE DAYS/TIMES HE SAID HE WOULD BE HERE, AND DIDN'T LEAVE UNTIL HE HAD COMPLETED THE TASKS HE SAID HE WOULD COMPLETE EACH DAY. I WILL HIRE HIM FOR FUTURE MAINTENANCE OF MY DECK.
Description of Work: HE STRIPPED MY DECK OF PAINT, POWER WASHED THE DECK, RAILINGS AND A BASEMENT AREA, PLUS SOME PLASTIC FURNITURE I HAD ON THE DECK. HE THEN STAINED THE DECK AND RAILINGS, AND RE-PAINTED DECK SPINDLES (IT TURNED OUT TO BE MUCH MORE WORK TO GET THE PAINT OFF SO WE MADE THE DECISION TO LEAVE IT ON THE SPINDLES AND JUST RE-PAINT THEM).
