This company gave a preliminary diagnosis of the problem with me over the phone, then arrived to perform the repair on time and prepared with the part he had determined was needed. Frankly, I was prepared to buy a new washer for $400 or more. Instead, this company repaired the machine to near-perfect working condition for about $150, using heavy-duty replacement parts that will last. The final total cost was well within his verbal estimate, and took almost exactly the amount of time he estimated. The only negative (and it is truly a minor one) was the fact that he did not clean up after himself as much as I would have liked -- but I was able to remedy that in just a few minutes of my time.

The door resisted his efforts, but we felt he did everything possible.

Although the person who answered the phone about a problem with a door seal on my fridge was very nice, he told me he would have to call back with additional information and then schedule (if needed) a service call. I never received a call back which is why the review is poor.

They arrived as promised and within 15 minutes the repair was completed. Also it was over $200 less than the first company quoted.

He didn't try to pressure me into repair, was friendly and very knowledgeable. Will definitely use in the future

Fridge stopped cooling over Christmas. He came over and knew immediately what the issue was. Worked great afterwards.

Called several Angie's list Large Appliance Repair places. Advanced Appliance could be here within 2 hours. Came to the house before 11 as promised. Diagnosed problem (computer board failed) went to get the part needed and was back in half an hour. Replace the board and waited to make sure the fridge started up again. He was very friendly and very professional. Will for sure use again when I need appliance repair and will recommend them to friends.

He was very thorough. He did a good job. He came back and he didn't charged us the service charge when he came back the second time to try a part to see if it would work and I thought that was very nice.

They responded quickly and when they showed up, they fixed the problem with the refrigerator on the spot. It has worked perfect ever since.

They were great! He was very knowledgeable of what was going on. It was very good. If I have any more problems, he told me to call him, he'll be glad to help, and I said okay. I like to deal with people like that. The price was reasonable. I had him come out twice. One time he was an A, and the other one was a C. The first time he was out here in a day's time. The second time we had him come out, we called him but he didn't return our call. About 3-4 days later, he called back.

When I had my vents checked, the guy touched the electrical connection and it caught on fire. Wires were wrongly connected when the unit was moved to its present location. Herbert, the technician called before arrival and appeared in a timely fashion. He was friendly, courteous, fast and efficient. He studied the connection and soon identified the problem which was easily corrected. I No longer have to worry about a possible fire.

They came out one day to check out the machine and then came back the 2nd time to replace the part. I called this company back less than 3 months later (they have a 3 month warranty) since the same symptoms were happening. Turned out it was a clogged hose. They charged me only for the service call and installed a brand new part too. They are really honest. They call ahead of time and show up when they say they would. They do a great job.

It was fine, professional and honest service man. Ended up no parts needed replaced, so I just had to pay the trip charge. Would use again.

Our refrigerator had been leaking water into the basement after we tried to replace the water filter. Mike came right out, was very professional and friendly, had all the necessary parts in his truck, and replaced our broken refrigerator filter housing and broken filter. He also made some adjustments to our Jennair stovetop and our disposal which both had some issues as well. He is dependable, trustworthy, and I would highly recommend him and will definitely call him for any large appliance problem in the future!

Mike was just perfect. He got right back to me on Monday morning and he came out to the house at noon. He spent over an hour trying to fix the problem but because there was complete ice on the back wall he had to come back the next day when it had all defrosted. He did not want to push things and damage the refrigerator because of all the ice. Next day the ice was gone , Mike was here on time and was able to get to the problem and fix it. The price was very very reasonable and he was professional in every way. I will use him always in the future for all my appliances and will recommend him to others. Thank you Angies list!!!!

Our refrigerator was periodically going off and Mike came out. He tested various things and determined we had a bad electrical outlet and there was nothing wrong with the refrigerator. He also replaced a ice maker in another refrigerator. He was very responsive, timely and reasonable. He didn't charge us for diagnosing the electrical issue. I will definitely use him again. I appreciate his honesty.

I had two problems with my refrigerator. The first was water was dispensing from the outside door dispenser very slowley. It was barely a trickle. Second, the ice maker was constantly jamming and not making the proper amount of ice. Mark tackled the water dispensing problem first, thinking it was a bad valve. Through trial and error, it was determined the unit that holds the water filter had bad seals and water was not flowing through the filter properly. He said it was fairly expensive to replace this unit, but he could bypass it if I didn't have to have the water filtered. He assured me the water would flow at a normal rate again. I elected to go with the bypass, so I saved money by not buying the unit and also, now I don't have to buy expensive filters. As for the ice maker, Mark knew exactly what the problem was when he took the unit apart. The motor was barely working. He replacd the motor and all is well. Mark was courteous, knowledgeable and professoinal. He knew his business.

He called 30 minutes prior to arriving. This was ahead of his estimated arrival time which was nice. He listened to problems we were having with the fridge and examined it. He appeared to do a little research to confirm his conclusion that the icemaker needed to be replaced, then got right to it. He first asked to turn the water back on to the icemaker, but had a little difficulty connecting the hose to the spigot. It leaked there, later, my husband pointed out that it is common to leak when it is not open fully and he appeared surprised that the repairman did not know this. The repairman explained that the icemaker needed to be replaced and why. He was careful to prevent water leakage. He replaced the part and explained what would happen next with the fridge. He was dressed rather casually, but appeared to bring the necessary tools. His overall interactions were appropriate, however, several comments came across a little demeaning. The cost of the replacement appeared a little elevated, however, a quick search online showed the replacement part to be about $140 and labor to be $156 for about 1.5 hours of work. The icemaker is working well and the fridge is dispensing water which it hasn't done in quite a while - so the repair was successful, however, based on this experience, we are not likely to call them again for appliance repair.

I regret that I have been so slow in posting this review as the experience I had with Advanced Appliances Repair was fantastic. Mike's knowledge was great and was only surpassed by the value and the quality of his work. He treated me right and now has a loyal customer.

Mike is very knowledgeable. After telling him my problem, he was able to diagnose it over the phone and brought the materials to repair it on the first visit. Overall I was very pleased with the experience and would definately use him again.

Start to finish--about 1-1/2 minutes and Mike saved the day. I never have encountered such honesty in a service business!

Advanced Appliances Repair LLC contacted me for service immediately after the online request, provided a time for service and arrived exactly at the time given. The technician explained the repair and parts required completed the work and saved my family from replacing hundreds of dollars in goods!

I'm a Real Estate Agent and had a Move-In Inspection on a home my client was to move into the next day. Upon inspection, we found that the refrigerator wasn't working and the dishwasher wasn't draining. I first called Sears Appliance Repair and was told that it would be 4-days before they could have a technician on site. I then research Angieslist and found Advanced Appliance Repair as a highly rated company. They were on site within an hour and found the dishwasher had a clogged drain line, instead of randomly charging me an arm-and-a-leg to replace the drainage pump to make a buck. They then moved on to the refrigerator and found that the control board was bad. They had a control board on their truck and even drove to Home Depot to pick up a water line to get the ice maker working. This company is outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone who wants professional and timely service. I found them to be incredibly efficent, courteous, and extremely affordable. We also found that the air conditioner on the main level wasn't cooling, and they had a recommendation for a service provider who was able to fix that problem too. My recommendation: Look no further and call them!
