Well, the markings for all utilities were taken, but these guys still decided to bring a bobcat, without hesitation as to what could be in the ground, tore up my sprinklers. Common sense, a shovel should have been used for the first few minutes to determine if any wires, pipes (which isn't ideal location) was next to the tank. I was in a meeting, if only the meeting wasn't taken place, i would have stopped them from using a bobcat to rip into the ground without first carefully checking what's near. There are two pvc pipes sticking out of the ground with no purpose, maybe other than to warn something is near the tank. First these guys thought it was my main water line, with all the water pouring out! Thank goodness it wasn't. Then one of the guys explained my septic tank was between my ranch fence and wanted to get his sledgehammer to break the fence. Mind you, I took the fence down or gate in 25 minutes. End, cost me $2500 for the risers, and will cost Me another $1000 for the sprinklers! To management, ry and get your guys to care a bit more about your potential customers property! I'm not sure why all the positive ratings on Google, but I can't help wondering if there's something ? about my house hold that is different!

They were the first to call, they had surveyors here to mark utility lines within the hour and the pump was here within 2. The whole project was done by 2pm. All the time they worked, Gabriel was pleasant, and we had interesting conversations. He was professional and cordial.

Informative during the quoting phase, efficient work, friendly and knowledgeable technicians, communicated very well including a text reminder of the appointment and the technician called as he was on his way.

Discovered a hole in the yard near septic tank when it was time for the tank to be pumped. Bowen's pumped the septic tank and diagnosed a collapsed outlet pipe as the problem. I received a no-pressure quote for the repair. Bowen's returned about a week later and completed the repair. The price I was quoted, was the price paid. There were no surprise charges and the work was done quickly. Gabe and David arrived timely both times and were courteous and efficient.

The service was great. They showed up on time and were very thorough. They explained everything we asked and replaced a part that would have failed in a few years. We are thankful that they are proactive and very experienced. We would definitely recommend them.

I have had several companies service my septic tanks over the years (because several have gone out of business...) but I was very pleased to connect with Bowen's Septic Service. From the time I made my appointment, to scheduling, arrival, assessment, digging, pumping, clean up and departure I found Bowen to be the most professional company I have used to date. Daniel was terrific and was an honest professional who gave good advice on must-do's versus nice-to-have's. I found pricing to be fair given the larger tank size that we have and I appreciated the professionalism from end-to-end. I have rental properties and I have the septic tanks pumped every 3-5 years. I've always had the same company come out. This time I tried Angies list referral. My son is 27 y.o. Interesting but in all the years of using contractor 'B' they never cleaned out the complete tank. This company was able to 'save' two of my son's toy cars that he flushed when he was a little guy. My son was just disappointed the toy fire truck was taken away. ;-( Will def use them to service my other rental units.

They were the only company that was available after calling about 12 companies... After reading several other reviews, it is obvious that we overpaid by a few hundred dollars. However my demand was high and they showed up quickly and were ready to work. They did the following tasks: - Used a small back-hoe to dig up the dirt over the top of the septic tank port holes - Pumped out the contents - Removed some tree roots - Cleaned out the drain field with a pressurized hose - Treated the empty tank with some kind of patented enzyme mixture and root preventive mixture - Replaced one of the pipes inside the septic tank - Covered septic tank back up with dirt The project was completed in a matter of hours, and there has been no problems ever since.

We used Bowen Septic for the first time in 2014 after buying our house and finding out the septic tank was in bad shape. Bowen came out immediately and provided a thorough assessment and quote before beginning work. Since then, we have used them for routine maintenance. The team who services the tank are always courteous and prompt, calling before they arrive so we can be ready. We've had no issues since their repairs and routine maintenance.

Our septic system was a disaster and needed extensive work. The company we had been working with, and really liked, had a technical problem and couldn't make it out to our house. Bowen Septic was able to fit us in early on a Sunday morning to finish pumping our system. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Very helpful.

Arrived on time, completed job as expected at price quoted ($25 discount because I had already dug out the tank covers to clean the discharge filter a couple of days before scheduling them to pump tanks). Only negative was that a small amount of sludge from their suction hoses was left on the driveway that I had to hose off after they left.

Josh and Israel diagnosed an issue with the septic tank and another issue with a sewage pump that the plumber missed. They took care of the septic tank issue promptly and let me know about how much the pump issue should cost to fix.

Bowen Septic Service did an exceptional job cleaning my Septic tank. I was told it would cost $375 and that's exactly what I was charged. They did a wonderful job getting my yard back to normal where they had to dig. I've used them in the past and will definitely use them again in 3-5 years. Gabriel and David were prompt, friendly and very ethical. I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

It was poor. They didn't get out here until after a week. Imagine no septic for a week and then they didn't do a complete job. They did not dig out the whole thing and did not give us full advise about septic fields. I don't feel like they were thorough. They did the work, they took a week to get out here. I didn't have any confidence and I don't think they were thorough. They pumped the tank for $375 which is the correct amount of money to do that for this area. They didn't give much of an effort to get out here in any timely fashion. The other part was that I didn't have any confidence in them when they did get out here. They did the work without damaging the property. They were on time the day they decided to come. They came in the right kind of truck and they didn't leave sewage all over the ground. They just were no use in the bigger problem. I wanted to know a long term resolution for the problem. You are in the septic system business and you ought to be able to advise somebody effectively what they should do next.

After accessing the septic tank, the contractor determined that it did not need pumped at that time. He suggested that we allow him to spray the drain pipe, since it appeared to be plugged up. When this didn't help our problem, he told me that we probably had a hole in our pipe or some other serious problem. This proved to be true and he ended up replacing the pipe from the house to the tank. The contractor was extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire process. I appreciate his honesty in informing us that our tank did not need pumped and his persistence in identifying our real problem. He did not pressure us to use his services, and even offered to talk me through how to do the work if I wanted to do it myself. His crew put the dirt back when they were finished and even reinstalled the edging around our landscaping bed. We are very happy with how we were treated and we will definitely consider this company again when we need service in the future.

Extremely pleasant & extremely professional; also very helpful in explaining why we were on the cusp of a major problem (filter on outlet to drainage field was clogged & solids about to enter field!)....added some $'s, but sure glad they went to the trouble to dig up 2nd access port & check it out! Highly recommend!
