We bought the coupon from Angie's List for an install service for 2 hours for 80 dollars. When we called this company we were told that a technician will come over and will estimate how much work is to be done. Also that the estimate itself will take about an hour or more. So we just paid 80 bucks for an estimate with is free at most places!! This is cheating. We'd like to get a refund for our money!!

William is an exceptionally skilled person that provided and installed an excellent flat screen mount for my lcd. He hid the cable box, power supply and IR repeater behind the tv to leave not a wire in sight. He also installed an additional outlet behind the tv. His prices are excellent and he is more than willing to pass on his discount to the customer in exchange for the business. I was kicking myself for buying a Boston Acoustics soundbar from Amazon instead of from him where I could have saved about $80. It ended up not really being worth it because of Amazons return fee, but in the future I will buy all my gear from him as well. The best thing about my experience was William's willingness to work with me to overcome problems encountered. The first IR repeater (required to hide the cable box behind the tv) didnt work well because of the sunlight in the room, and he came back out to exchange it for another at his cost. Now it works great!I highly recommend William David Design Group for your home electronics needs.

After initial visit did not recieve any follow up service regarding servicing my system.

The installation was excellent. He is very knowledgable and and also diagnosed several other problems I was having.I am also having him come back and fix other cable and TV issues I have.I have several other friends that need A/V installations and will highly recommend.

Call William Parr the week of July 4th and initiated contact. Did not hear back for over a week. No out of office/on vacation message just no response. A week later got a call saying he had been on vacation. We set an appointment for the following week. I arrived as agreed only to find Mr. Parr a no show. Received a call the next day with an excuse and apology. Returned call and received no response for two more days. When I originally contact Mr. Parr on July 2nd I explained I needed to do the review in preperation for a Olympic party at the clubhouse on July 27th. Despite multiple attempts and broken promised we have not connected, yet alone completed the work. In my opinion, if you are a homeowner with a lot of time on your hands and this vendor is at a slow point you may be a match.If you expect professional service and timely response look elsewhere. Thankfully Angies list stood by their promise and is refunding the coupon purchased for $100.00

Good interpersonal interaction, assessed the issues accurately (ceiling mount of a Projector). Paid appropriate attention to electrial issues as well as installation and final video performance. negative points: even though I specifically requested the estimate for projector mounting and XBox Kinect set-up, he didn't seem to know much about the Kinect. Which would have been fine if I hadn't specifically mentioned it in the appointment request.

I purchased the special $79 deal for two hours of time because we had a laundry list of items we needed help with. First on the list was mounting a new 55" HDTV in our bedroom and moving the 42" one from there to my home office. This also involved reconnecting speakers, Blu Ray players, cable boxes, receivers, etc., in both areas. We also had 2 sets of outdoor speakers which have been in place for several years that we could never get to work. Mr. Parr answered the phone the first time I called to schedule an appointment, was willing to come out on a Saturday and called to say he was running 10 minutes late. He was very knowledgable, competent and professional. Although it took him longer than 2 hours to perform all the things we asked of him, he charged a very reasonable hourly rate for the additional 1 hour and 20 minutes it took him to complete all the work. I highly recommend Mr. Parr and we will certainly call on him agagin when the need arises.

Mr Parr was very professional. We discussed what I wanted done before he began the installation. Mr Parr took his time, ensured the televisions were mounted exactly where I wanted, and did multiple measurements.

He was great. He was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable. He filled a lot of informational gaps that we had for us and the questions that we had. He gave us some alternatives and suggestions on future work to be done. He was very great and competitive as well. I will be using him for future work in near future. I wish the service that they offered was little bit more specific and what it exactly entailed. It was the only thing. It was little bit vague as far as what it all entailed. Overall the service was fantastic. It was worth the money that we spent.

William was running a little late but called before my appointment time to let me know he would be late. He arrived at the new time he said he would and got right to work. He was courteous and listened to what I needed to have done. He completed his work with minimal damage to my walls and home. William was very friendly, and after he was done, he offered to vacuum the areas where he had tracked some dust and dirt from the attic.

I am beyond pleased with the work of William David Design Group. I have multiple pieces of A/V equipment, including TV, cable, stereo receiver, AppleTV, Grace Radio, and wired & wireless speakers, but they weren't connected correctly so I was only getting about half the usage out of them. So I purchased an Angie's List deal coupon for William David Design Group's services, and it was money (more than) well spent! William called me to set up the appointment (I love that he was proactive!), he was very flexible in finding a time slot that would work for me, and we scheduled a day/time within 3 days. He arrived on time, was pleasant, and very professional. His expertise and get-it-done attitude was apparent right away! He promptly got to work, quickly diagnosing and resourcefully remedying the problems. All of my equipment works now, and I am so, so happy! More that even that, though, William's efforts saved me from having to buy hundreds of dollars of new equipment. If you're in need of a smart, professional, hard-working company to perform any services to install or repair home theater or any A/V equipment, call William David Design Group. I will definitely be calling on them again when I need additional work. I give them the highest recommendation!

We called William on the Sunday of Memorial Day. He came out the same day and prevented me from blowing a gasket over the project... Since our service, he actually contacted me with some additional helpful information he obtained from Denon on his own time! William was very professional and kept me apprised of his arrival time (he was coming over after an earlier appointment). I get the sense that he is in this business because he is good at it and enjoys it, which is impressive to me.

Great work. It took longer that he or we expected but the finished product was evven better that we could have expected.

William Paar installed and provided materials to install 4 TV's and wire the sound system in the house and the family room TV. He did some house alarm work to further enhance our current system. He also connected us to a local Alarm monitoring company for a nominal cost.

William showed up promptly to my home to give an estimate based on the specific parameters of my house. I was very impressed with his knowledge of components and how to optimize my set-up. I selected him over a number of other estimates. When he showed up for the job, we determined that the glare in my living room was too severe for the existing plasma TV, so he accompanied me to a local BestBuy to advise on a purchase of a new TV. When that BestBuy did not have the correct model, he was kind enough to go with me to a location further away to pick up the set that worked best. After we returned, he installed all of my components and, to the extent he could, used existing wiring and components at my request. Everything looks great and very professional. He has also been available to answer a number of questions I had post-set up and came by, gratis, to address a problem that was an issue with my remote and not his set-up. William was kind, courteous and very hard-working. I will not hesitate to use him again in the future.

I was very impressed by initial phone call and subsequent meeting with William Parr. He was interested, had a "can do" spirit and seemed ready to get things done. I liked him from the get go. I reached out to 4 companies on Angie's List for a large job of Home Theatre and Stereo to be done at the home we just bought.William was very responsive in the beginning including a follow up phone call the day of his consultation. Only one problem he never got back with a quote! Nothing - Nada. No so much as I am not interested, or I am too busy, etc.. I had told him that I would get him the "specific" component information of some of our existing equipment. I "failed" to do this until 2 days later; however, I have heard nothing back from him since I sent this information. Two of the other companies responded with full quotes within 48 hours of their initial consultation, and they did not need me to send the existing component information. Unfortunately 5 days after William was here we still have no quote and must move on with a decision to execute on the job.

We heard a loud popping noise and the rear projection television stopped working. We ordered a replacement bulb from Amazon and it was still not showing a picture. William came out to take a look and determine what parts needed to be ordered. He ran a diagnostic check and determined that the ballast and the power supply had both gone bad. He called to get a cost on the parts and calculated the labor hours. He was very up front that the cost of the repair was not a good investment for the age of the tv. He recommended a new tv and was very knowledgeable about the different technologies. He explained the pros and cons of each but ultimately provided a recommendation for a plasma vs. an LCD or LED. We purchased a 60" plasma from Costco and we will have him come back to do the wall mounting and installation. The price that he quoted for this service was a very affordable vs what others would charge - and it includes "inside the wall" wiring. This guy really knows his stuff and we would trust him to install any home system, alarm, entertainment systems, etc.

He installed a 46" LED Samsung tv to a wall by placing a new electrical box on the wall to hide all wires. He also installed the home theatre system and set it all up to a working order. Very smooth process.

William did a fantastic job. His quality and professionalism started with his initial visit for the quote. He looked at the installation location and provided several alternatives for running the cables. He also made suggestions fixing several issues that I had with speaker placement by using in wall speakers. Once I made the decision to use William, he ordered the parts and came to the house for the installation within a week. He did his best to limit the sheetrock damage when installing the cables and ended up making less holes than he had originally indicated. The installation looks great. All of the power, speaker and A/V cables are run in the wall so there is nothing but the TV and speakers visible. I will definitely use William again for any installation help that I need.
