Overall, it was a very positive and professional experience

Mr. Farrow and I made an appointment and he did not show up or call at the appointed time. Two hours later, I called him and left a message. The next day in the early afternoon, I received a phone call from him explaining that he had a meeting at the same time our appointment was, and it ran later than he thought it would - which I guess means he was planning to be late, but then couldn't do that either ... He did manage to make our next appointment, looked at the control board and showed me how to tighten the connections, which has worked to keep the drying running since he left. I was happy that he didn't tell me I needed a new control board. In all, he was at my house around 15 minutes and charged me $70. I've never had a dryer repair before, so I don't know if that's expensive or not, but I know I don't make $70 in 15 minutes.

He is very quick, punctual, and professional and did a good job. He is a very good guy. His price is very reasonable.

First contact with this service provider was before Thanksgiving, and the washer is still broken. He came out several times to no avail. He replaced a couple parts different times and was unable to fix the problem. He stated that the vendor kept sending him the wrong parts. He said he would contact the vendor and get back to us on several occasions, he never did. We have called him an average of once every 2-3 weeks for the past 4 months and get the same story. He says he will talk to his vendor and call us back. He never does. We kept giving him the benefit of the doubt but bottom line is the washer is still broken and it's been almost 3 weeks since I last called him and he hasn't called back. Would have appreciated him telling us he is just unable to fix rather than string us along for so long. He may be OK for basic fixes, but if it is an involved job beware. Also, he kept the service fee, so we are out that money along with our time. We will begin our search for another provider.

He was on time. He knew what was going on. He ordered the part and installed it.

It went well he was honest and a complete professional.

He did an excellent job. He was very responsive, on time, and came when he said he was going to come. I cannot say enough about his services he did a fantastic job.

They came out promptly, they thoroughly checked the appliance, including the front and back coils. They tested for coolant leeks and they checked the temp. All seemed to be in working order. We were fine with paying for the trip and diagnosis charge, because we needed to know the appliance was OK, as it was 10 years old and we would otherwise clean the fridge and recheck all the foods, etc. (We later found a bag of frozen nuts had somehow gone off in the freezer, giving off a very unusual odor right through the packaging. We did not detect this until we actually opened the package!)We then washed out the fridge with baking soda and were set to go.) The service tech was polite helpful and friendly and we would call this company again.

The dishwasher handle had been getting troublesome and finally broke and I could not open the dishwasher to remove the dishes. David Farrow had installed this dishwasher about seven years ago and, because of the good service he provided then, I wanted him to work on it. He had the part and was able to come out the same day! He arrived when he said he would and repaired it. Now, the dishwasher door has a new and improved handle. My husband and I are very pleased with Mr. Farrow's service, dependability, and integrity, as we were seven years ago. The problem we had was not straightforward and needed some additional work and a more parts than originally thought. The Farrow's fixed it on the second attempt and kept us in the loop while ordering an additional part and scheduling . We are still due an 80.00 refund on an unused part, but feel certain that will be addressed shortly.

My refigerator went out a couple weeks ago, unfortunately I called a different repair service. That company did come out and repair my refrigerator for 350.00. A week later my dishwasher will not drain (and I did try and fix it myself but to no avail...) so I called the people who repaired my refrigerator a week earlier. The person on the phone asked what the problem was, I told her the dishwasher was not draining. She asked how old it was...I told her 4 years old. She told me it was "probably" the water pump and since the average lifespan of a dishwasher is 4 years (!!) I would be better off replacing it since a new pump would be 250.00. I politely hung up. My dishwasher cost $1000 so 250.00 to fix it would be better than replacing it! I then remembered my Angies List book and found David Farrow. They came right out....diagnosed the problem (not a water pump!) and were on their way in less than an hour. $95.00 was the cost. Clean cut, repectable and dependable. Will definately use them next time!

The repair cost me around $200. He showed up on time. He was pleasant to work with. It was a good experience. I will use him again in the future.

Our brand new dryer was making a bumping noise. I contacted the manufacterer who referred me to a choice of five repair companies. After researching these, I contacted David Farrow Service Company. It was already late in the day, so he said he could come the next morning. (I actually spoke with him - he answered the phone.) The next day he arrived in the time window he promised. He was very quick to find the problem. The foam rubber piece inside the top cover that prevents a tinny sound had come loose. Within 10-15 minutes it was fixed. He was very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend this company.
