A big oak tree had fallen on the vinyl chain linked fence in my backyard. I sawed up and removed the tree myself, and then proceeded to call around for a fencing repair. I called Coastal Fencing on a Friday, and they said they would come out to the house the next day at around 11:00AM. At about 1PM the next day, they still had not shown up, so I called them. They said on the phone that a job had taken longer than expected, and that they could come out right now. About 30 minutes later, Coastal Fencing was at my house, and the woman quoted the job for $150. She was very polite and courteous during this process. I called her later that day to schedule the repair work, and we agreed over the phone that they would come out on Saturday October 5th at 10AM. At about 12:15PM on the next Saturday, Coastal Fencing had not shown up to do the work. I called the company and left a voicemail trying to confirm that we were still on for the job. I called again about an hour later, but did not leave a second message. Coastal Fencing never called me back. Positives - The price was good and the woman was friendly. Negatives - They were always late, never showed up to do the actual job, and then never returned my call.
