Couldn't have been better. They were at the house within 30 minutes (beat me there), and had the faucet fixed and the shower running in 30 minutes. I was extremely happy.

It was good and I was satisfied. They were good, they were timely and I thought their price was reasonable.

I used them several times over the last thirty years. They worked with me regarding the price. The price, responsiveness, and professionalism are great. I would use them again in the future.

I had a leak coming from the water faucet on the side of my house. It was coming through the wall and soaking my bedroom carpet. I called Universal around 8:00am and was given a time they would come out. They called back a little later and said they had someone that could come earlier. The technician arrived around 9:00 and the problem was fixed in 45 minutes, He cut a hole in my wall ( my home was built on a slab) and showed me where the builder had pierced the water tubing with a nail when the siding was put up. He cut the damaged tube and replaced it with a new tube section using 2 couplings. He was very polite and explained the problem. I did think the price of $239.52 for 45 minutes was high, however, since they reponded so quickly and saved me more damage to my carpet I gladly paid it. The bill was not itemized so I couldn't tell if they charged a "quick response fee" or not. I would definately use them again for an emergency plumbing problem. I'm sure I could not have gotten a quicker repsonse from any other plumber in this area. For a non-emergency problem I will call around to check pricing first or at least find one that has maybe an Angie's List or a senior discount available.,

They were very professional and stand behind their work. They do a great job and they are very competitive with their work. I always use them when I have a major problems with plumbing.

The call to the company was professional and very pleasant. A timeframe for the service was established for a particular day. There was no hurry in the replacement of the toliet so it was scheduled several days in the future. On the day of the scheduled service which was 10 am to noon, no one showed or called. Knowing that plumbing work can take longer when the work order is being taken by an office staff member, I felt that an hour or so was reasonable to allow for being past the scheduled time. After 2 hours I called and the staff member was apologetic - as the appointment was documented but recorded on the days schedule. She called one of the trucks and found a plumber that could be at the house within an hour. The plumber was excellent, friendly and apologetic - he told me that family college students who were home for holidays probably took the call and did not get the work on an appointment scheduler. I asked for a discount and received a $25.00 reduction in the total bill.

I called the office about 8:00 a.m. and told them that the supply to the toilet tank was leaking and needed to be fixed. The lady told me the repairman could be there the same day between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. I said that that would be fine. She called me back about 10 minutes later and said someone could come right then. The man came in less than an hour, I showed him what needed to be fixed, he made the repairs. Everything from initial call to completed repair was about one hour.

Great! Not a problem. Clean up his mess and he is going to come back and fix my sink.

They were wonderful. They came to fix a leak and found another problem. They were very clear about the problem and completed the work in a timely manner. They checked other areas of the home at no additional costs and answered all my questions. I was very pleased.

The job went very well overall. The plumber (Gene) was very courteous and professional. The job was estimated to take 1-1/2 days, but problems surfaced (ex. backhoe broke; city improperly located street tap and driveway had to be cut) and it took a couple of days longer with no extra cost. Job was estimated at a flat rate and work was performed satisfactorily at that rate.

They said a flat rate. He replaced part of the pipe. He was too expensive. He kept digging and I kept telling him there was a leak.

The plumber arrived at my house exactly when he said he would and I described that my toilet was leaking in the master bathroom. He looked at it and explained that, more than likely, the wax seal on the toilet had been compromised and that I needed to have it replaced. He also explained that it would be a good idea to replace everything because of the period of time it had been leaking. He explained the best way to do the repair that was the least expense to me. When he performed the repair, it was the wax seal that had been leaking. I was very happy with his performance, his knowledge and his honesty. It's hard to find honesty these days and I really appreciated it. He performed the repair and cleaned up after himself. He also took all the trash out.The plumber was very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problem and fix it in a short amount of time. I am very pleased with Universal Plumbing and I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I will call them next time I need plumbing work done.
