I have called on Mike for his professional services twice - once to install a kitchen faucet and then to give me an estimate on a leaking washer machine. Very Well - Mike was a man of his word - great follow up and reliable. Would highly recommend him and his strong work ethic. he has has a great sense of humor and suggested some alternatives that were better than my original ideas for the projects. He also was very flexible and willing to work with uncertainty of when certain products would be ready for delivery and then installation - the job took more days to complete due to broken materials being delivered but Mike was very professional and understanding and worked with me. It truly was a pleasure to have such a great attitude clearly displayed. Great follow upa nd through - he was commited to helping me get the work done. I greatly appreciated him and would definitely use him again in the future and Recommend Him.

Punctual, knowledgeable, flexible and honest. I had a list for Mike and I added a few more things after he arrived. He was accommodating and agreed to the other items as time allowed. He even found some things that a previous contractor didn't fix correctly and he corrected those items also. Once I find someone that is knowledgeable and that I trust I naturally use them for future work. Mike is that person for me. I strongly recommend him as a resource.

Yet again, Mike impressed with his professionalism, flexibility, and creativity. The stair gates were, naturally, not quite wide enough for the space. Mike not only came up with a smart solution in additional wood piece extensions, but stained each to match the banisters seamlessly. Throughout the experience, Mike communicated quickly and consistently ---- typically via text, which I appreciate. He also accepts payment via square, an additional convenience to working with him.

I had the materials waiting when Mike arrived, so he came in, surveyed the situation for about 10 minutes developing a course of action, and got right to work. The house I just bought had two other outlets in the living room, but none on the wall with the fireplace where I'm needing to put the television. He ran a line down from the attic and, at the same time, ran co-axial cable up to the attic so my cable provider has a connection to drop a service line to. I knew this wasn't going to be an easy job in a 94 year old house, but Mike found a way. As he was finishing up, he even let my new neighbor borrow a ladder for a few minutes to trim some tree branches. He didn't have to do that, but he did. As a new homeowner, I'm sure I'll find more things that need doing in the next year or two and Mike will be the first person I call.

Mike was great and very easy to work with. Everything was performed well, and he was flexible working with a challenging schedule. I am a single mom with 3 kids so things are always breaking with heavy use in the almost 100 year old house. I felt that the price was very reasonable as I have had negative experiences with this in the past. I will definitely use his services again, and not wait as long for so many things to accumulate.

As usual, Mike was quick to get back to me when I called, and took a lot of time to answer my questions. He offered to review the inspection report and then helped me understand what it said. He also came over and examined the area of concern and then explained the repair he felt was needed--a simple fix but one I would never have figured out on my own. Mike then made the repair quickly and at a very reasonable cost. We were very pleased, and so were the new homeowners.

Great! He messaged me to let me know he was running a little behind which I appreciated. Came in and took care of the short list we needed done, plus the running toilet which I'd only just discovered that day. Fast, professional, and friendly.

I can install a ceiling fan, but I feel pretty intimidated when you start talking about amperage and pulling wires and stuff. Mike is really easy going and really knows what he's talking about. I never doubted for a minute he could do the job, but he was really fast and clean about it all. He gave me options and advice on what I could do next with the switch. I will definitely use him again and I would recommend him to anyone!

Arrived on time, helped make decisions about problematic threshhold piece, installed the door quickly, cleaned up, charged the previously agreed-upon amount, which seemed very reasonable (though I have little basis for comparison). He also spent a lot of time discussing other possible projects including some he would probably not be doing himself (i.e., he was just being helpful and informative, not only discussing future jobs for which I might hire him). He was professional, efficient, articulate, helpful. Will definitely call on him again.

Mike from Retrofix was amazing and super professional. His work was outstanding and very cost effective when compared to other providers I had called. In fact, from now on he will be my "go-to guy" for any inside repairs. In fact, I already have him scheduled for future work. I also recommended him to other friends in the area. AAA +++ company.

At little notice Mike came out to my place, did a great job fixing a badly damaged non-standard size front door, and charged a fair price. Communication was prompt, effective, and really pleasant. Thanks Mike.

Mr. Nesbitt contacted us prior to appointment to let us know he'd be arriving within 30 minutes. He arrived within the time frame he stated he would. Prior to the appointment, he sent us an invoice with an estimate of how much the work would cost. [Mike communicates by email and text, which was very helpful for us]. He was very personable. He completed the work in a timely fashion. He reviewed our home inspection report and gave us estimates for completion of other needed repairs. We plan to use him again for other home projects.

I called on Sunday morning thinking I would get a call later in the week. But Mike called me about 15 min later. I told him what I needed done and he offered to come out that afternoon!!! I was not about to meet on Sunday so we set up the appointment for Wednesday morning. Mike arrived on time, was professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I will defiantly call RetroFix in the future.

This is the second time I have used Mike (Retrofix). Both times I have been impressed by his professionalism and the high quality of his work. Each time he came to my house I had a list of things that needed to be done. He gave me an estimate and went right to work once I approved. He has made helpful suggestions on work that has saved me $$. He is reliable, prompt and his prices are reasonable. I like working with him. Recently I referred him to a friend, who called me later to thank me and tell me how impressed he was with Mike's work.

Mike did a great job. The work looks very good! He showed up on time and worked all day, but it turned out he needed a few more hours to finish up the next day. He showed up again as scheduled and completed the work. I'm very happy with it. He was also very kind to and patient with my semi-hyper Boston Terrier! Much appreciated!

Had Mike come back out to hang some lights and mirrors for me. Again, Mike provided a timely response and quick quality job for me. I will continue to use Mike every time I have work to be completed. Oh and one last thing, if you are a pet owner, Mike is great with pets!
