Great work ethic !

The initial meeting was with Troy to whom I expressed my concern of having visible mold in my air vents which would lead me to believe that there was mold in my HVAC unit. Troy went into my attic and returned telling me that there was visible mold in the rafters of my home and that there was bathroom vent in my master bath that was not hooked up to anything and was putting moisture into the attic and this was the reason for the visible mold. He gave me a price of $6500 to fix the issue. He would not take a credit card payment but instead had me to go through their finance company and told me that I could get 3 months deferred payments and a 7.9% interest rate. He wrote up a contract on his iPad and gave me a brief explanation of the contract which in hindsight did not really tell me anything about it other than it is a design and it will be emailed to me as he clicked through all of the signature lines for me once I created my signature. He told me that his guys would come out and clean in treat all of the rafters, fog the attic and the HVAC and check the coils for mold, remove and replace the insulation, and replace all of the vent covers. I could be present in the home up until it is time to fog and I would have to leave at that time. The guys showed up the next day and got to work. After several hours they came to me when it was time to fog and I asked them was there mold in the HVAC coils and when were they going to replace the vent covers? They had no idea what I was talking about and had to reach out to their project manager who had to call Troy for clarification. Once they got it cleared up I left the house for a few hours only to return to my home where vents were left open without covers and some of the covers with visible mold were still on the vents. The worker was supposed to return the next morning at 10 am to complete the vents but he did not show up until after 5pm and smelled of alcohol on his breath. He did not have any tools to complete the job and had to borrow some from me. He was only able to replace 3 vents because he was clearly drunk and this was solidified when he fell from the ladder in my master bath. He told me he would have to come back the next day to finish the vents. This is now day 3, he comes back and the vents are over-tightened and barely functional. I spoke to Troy and told him about how my home was left and sent photos of stains on the walls and insulation everywhere as well as open vents and he agreed to come out and address my concerns. He came out again and after checking everything he was going to send his project manager out to tidy up and replace the air vents again he also said he would do an air quality test because I was concerned that the air vents had not been cleaned when it was my understanding that they would do ?everything? that needed to be done. He agreed to have another company to come and clean the units and he would cover the cost. The other company came with an invoice for 1 unit when I had 2 and Troy wanted me to pay for the 2nd unit. Neither unit ended up being cleaned because the other company actually found the source of the mold in the HVAC units when they cut into them. When I sent Troy the pics of the actual problem he wanted to sell me additional services after saying they were not an HVAC company. My initial concern was always what was going on in my hvac and if they could not help with that concern they should have expressed that from the first point of contact. I had to bring in a 3rd company to take a look and without even telling them what I had experienced they went into my attic and came back with numerous photos of visible mold still in my rafters as well as the mold in my hvac. So the very concern I had plus the service I was sold still exist after a $6500+7.9% and I still have the same situation that I started with not to mention I did not get 3 months deferred or an air quality test. Not 1 promise kept!

This is a follow-up to an earlier review I submitted. The quality of the work performed was amazingly fast and excellent. In and out in three days. We were very pleased. There was some confusion about certain insurance paperwork, but that has been resolved and I can enthusiastically recommend Pure Home for mold eradication and restoration.

The quality of the work is very good, but the follow-through of the necessary insurance paperwork still has not been completed after nearly six weeks. Emails and phone calls are ignored. Something is not right.

It was an overall pleasant experience. Troy was very helpful in letting me know the options and explaining the procedure of blowing the insulation, etc. I did not feel pressure to purchase from them, Hector and Julio were knowledgeable and very respectful showing me pictures along the way. I would highly recommend this company.

I'm a single mom of a four-year-old and on a fixed income. I was forced to deal with costly mold removal in my bathroom. I was nervous about the process and the price.  I went online to homeadvisor and Pure Home was the company that stood out the most. That came out to give me a free estimate. The rep that came out put my mind at ease. He explained, in detail the total process and told me about a grant to help lower my bill! ð Also, the people that came out to do the work were professional and fast. I highly recommend.ð

We called Pure Home to help us find out where the mildew smell in our new home was coming from. After Troy came out, he discovered we had mold in our attic and crawl space. Not what we wanted to hear but the next day Magill and his crew were out to start remediation. They did a fantastic job. They were thorough and professional—our attic and crawl space were cleaned, sealed, and insulated properly this time. They went above our expectations and completed the job quickly. I am very grateful to Pure Home for helping us get our house back to normal!

I was unaware of the severity of the damage. They walked me through everything. Very personable and knowledgeable.

DO NOT use Pure Home for any water damage repairs. I have been going back and forth with Michael, a director at Pure Homes since September of 2021 concerning the repair in my daughters room. Michael have lied during every conversation concerning the amount of money due on the estimate. He has overcharged on every item in order to get more and more money. He charged $318 to remove and put up a ceiling fan. When I asked why was it so high, he stated that they would have to use a certified electrician. Not true, two noncertified workers completed all of the work. Also, he has sent in 3 supplement estimates to the insurance company requesting more money even after the repair was done. Michael sent my insurance company an email telling them to make my depreciation check to payable to Pure Home. Three months after the repair was done, I just received an email asking for 918. for plastic that was taped over my daughters door for dust. Save yourself time and aggravation. Use a more trustworthy and honest company.

They did an excellent job with the house for the budget and worked around our schedule to the best of their ability. The only qualm I had is that they did leave some stuff in the attic that I thought they were going to remove.(Old door and ripped up air ducts) They have already blown in insulation on top of it so it is probably just staying there. Most likely just an honest mistake. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints. Their team was very friendly and I felt they cared about their work. The house looks great would definitely recommend!
