Description of Work: We hired Adapted Living Spaces to tear down our old shower tile, fix any damage (our previous tiles had developed leaks over time), and to re-surface using ceramic tile. They did a fantastic job! They even removed poorly buit aspects of the original building and replaced it with materials that should have been used in the first place, such as concrete boarding instead of dry wall. At the end of each working day, they completely cleaned up their work areas....we didn't even know they were there! Would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Remodeled bathroom and kitchen in a high-rise condo. Included remove and replace tub, tile in bath, granite in kitchen and drywall work in kitchen.

 + -1 moreIt appeared that this was the first time this contractor had ever done tile work despite his claims of experience. A number of tiles were not cut at right angles. The contractor thought he had done a great job and did not see the many flaws. He did sand down one tile that was sticking out, but it still isn't perfect. There are others noticed subsequently that are not aligned. The grout work is dreadful. We don't know if it will hold up as it is uneven. The threshold cracked in two places less than a week after it was installed. He replaced it. He seemed basically ignorant about things that needed to be purchased and kept us running to the store to pick up things. The whole house was a mess and he made little effort to keep it clean. (This despite another rating on this company that said they kept the house clean.) The shower lacks the pressure it had previously. His helper cut grooves in the garage floor while cutting the tiles. We would never recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: Tile in shower area and floor of bathroom was removed and was replaced. Toilet removed and reinstalled. Shower pan, shower head and fixtures installed.

 + 2 moreTHE CONTRACTOR WAS PRICED ACCEPTABLY WELL, AND PUNCTUAL WITHIN THE SCHEDULE SET FORTH (THREE WEEKS). THIS UPGRADE WAS IN AN AREA WHICH IS USED DAILY, AND BECAUSE OF THIS, THE CONTRACTOR TOOK STEPS TO MINIMIZE THE INCONVENIENCE IMPOSED BY SWEEPING THE WORK AREA ON A DAILY BASIS. WHAT I FOUND MOST IMPRESSIVE, WAS THE CARE THE CONTRACTOR TOOK TO LISTEN, IN ORDER TO INSURE THE COMPLETED WORK WAS TO MY SATISFACTION.
Description of Work: A COMPLETE REMODELING OF MY MASTER BATHROOM WAS PERFORMED. THIS WORK INCLUDED TILING THE FLOOR, REPLACEMENT OF THE SHOWER UNIT, UPGRADED BATHTUB (TO A GARDEN TUB), AND UPGRADED BOTH VANITY AREAS.
