It has been our goal to always provide Atlanta area homes and offices with a customized, quality house cleaning service that is trustworthy and dependable. The assigned cleaner, Amy, missed a few things in cleaning the house. She didn't clean under the beds or clean the blinds. She also swept the floors and left some dirt, leaves, etc. on the floors in a bathroom and the den. Minor stuff that could easily be addressed with the next cleaning. The owner of the company, Harvey, called me the next day to see how the cleaning went. I told him that overall, Amy did a good job and that I wanted her to come back again to clean. But, I wanted the few things she had missed addressed at the next cleaning. I sent Harvey pictures of the areas missed, and he told he would talk with Amy, correct those issues and call me the following week to schedule the next cleaning. After waiting weeks for Harvey to contact me, I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. Harvey seemed like a professional. He came by my house to give me an estimate on cleaning and brought a certificate of liability insurance, a list of references to call, and paperwork detailing the cleaning supplies I needed to provide and how payments were to be made. Harvey made a great first impression and seemed to really be customer service oriented. He seemed to take pride in his business and want his customers to be happy. I was, quite frankly, shocked that he never called me to schedule another cleaning. Our conversations were cordial, not confrontational at all.

"I interviewed Mrs. [Member Name Removed] on January 23rd, 2017. She indicated at that time she wanted to get on a monthly cleaning schedule. At that time I explained to Mrs. [Member Name Removed] how I do scheduling. The initial cleaning was set up on January 30. Afterward the initial cleaning I would call her one week prior to her next scheduled cleaning which would occur on the week of February 27th. On February 22, I would call one week in advance to let her know a cleaning was to be scheduled on the 27th. Unfortunately, there was misunderstanding leading her to believe I had forgotten about her. I keep a detailed calendar to keep all my clients are their respective schedules. I only learned of her review on Tuesday, February 21 and immediately called and left a message on her voicemail explaining what had happened and asked to her call me to clarify any misunderstanding and confirm her upcoming cleaning appointment on February 27th. I have not heard back from her."

We've been using Nook and Cranny since moving into the neighborhood two years ago. I appreciate the scheduling calls and day-before reminders. I feel most comfortable when they have recurring/returning staff, as they get to know the quirks of our house, our pets, where we keep things, recycling, etc. Fair price for the cleaning, we especially wanted a housecleaner for bathroom, floor, and surface cleaning, and a good regular dusting. This continues to be why we are customers. Harvey did an initial review of our house to make a custom price point for our needs. Also, you do provide your own cleaning materials but that is standard I think, and ensures you have products around.

I've used them for a very long time. They always come when they said they would, they are prompt, honest, and I trust them. I use them for the better of at least 8 years and they do a satisfactory job cleaning. I haven't done any competitive shopping because I've used them for so long.

I feel the price was quite high. My kitchen was improved but not clean. They couldn't clean the windows because they're not allowed to use a ladder. The bathrooms were very good.

Harvey, the owner, did a thorough inspection of what needed to be done. He pointed out some things that I had not noticed. A few days later Jennifer came in and spent the entire day cleaning. She even wiped the walls down where needed. She was efficient, professional and friendly. When I pointed out one thing Harvey had noticed that had not been done she apologized for missing it and happily did it. This first cleaning seemed a little expensive until I saw how long she spent cleaning and how thoroughly it was done. The estimate for periodic cleanings to keep it clean are right in line with other companies.

They were very slow in their service. I would not say that it was the best cleaning I have ever had. It was adequate, but maybe not enough to use them again. On the other side, I did not give them a lot of notice, and they were willing to come and do the work. Their service price was not the most expensive, but it was not incredibly reasonable. The owner of the company came to know my concerns, but he was really slow.

Harvey does a nice job of hiring, communicating and working with his staff. He insists on high standards and it shows. Over the years, I've had several different staff people from Nook and Cranny clean my house and each one has done an excellent job. They are always friendly and personable. Special requests are also honored, which I really appreciate. I recommend Harvey and his team highly.

We have been using this service for years and have always been well satisfied. The people are competent and pleasant, always prompt and respond well to special requests. There have been very few (minor) problems over the years and those that did occur were handled very well.

The overall experience was outstanding. Both Harvey and Maria are friendly, courteous and professional. As for the results, I can't be happier. I'm very particular about how clean our home is, thus I've had a hard time finding a cleaning service to clean my house as deep as I'd prefer. I can honestly say that after Nook and Cranny Maid Service cleaned, not only am I impressed, but I'd wage that my mother-in-law will be impressed too. = ) Worth every penny.
