They _think_ before they work. - They measure and otherwise plan work before they actually do it--I've hired them multiple times and never saw them re-do anything because of poor planning. This makes them work efficiently--things get done on time. - They protect floors and other surfaces while working, and clean up when done. - When they need to makes holes in walls (e.g., when rerouting wires), they do so with care and patch them up beautifully.

We contracted Mini Jobs to finish the basement in our new home. David Wise gave us a detailed cost estimate and helped us determine where we could cut expenses by doing things ourselves (e.g., getting permits, easy tasks, etc). They started the job promptly at the beginning of January and finished the whole project within the estimated timeframe (6-8 weeks). The licensed subcontractors all showed up on the agreed upon dates and the project schedule went smoothly. Any minor inspection issues with the different subcontractors were resolved promptly. The overall job came in about 4% under their original estimate so we were very pleased. Everything was done with quality and professionalism. We really enjoyed working with Eduardo and Chris – they were the main people at our house each day. We were going to paint ourselves, but at the last minute when my husband had some health issues, Chris and Eduardo stepped in to do all the painting. We really appreciated their attention to detail and quality workmanship! They are both very hard workers and skilled at multiple crafts. Communication was delayed at times, but as we adapted to their communication style, this part improved. Overall we are very happy with our new basement and believe that the job was competitively priced for the value and quality of work we received.

Mini Jobs and the guy they sent out were absolutely fantastic. From communication and estimates, to arriving on time and getting the job done quickly. We mostly had a small "honey-do" list, that they completed ahead of schedule, and with quality work. Plus their pricing was fantastic! I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a handyman!

I contracted minijobs to install a range hood in my kitchen. They did a very professional install. I would highly recommend minijobs for any small projects you need done. If I have another such project I will not hesitate to contact them again.

Good. I had been clear that it would take 2 strong guys a short time to do job. First guy arrived on time and stood around for 30 minutes waiting for second guy. Jordan arrived first and assessed everything so they could work fast. He called boss to see when he would get there, as I was worried about paying first guy (Jordan) for 2 hours. Jordan was very professional, calm & polite. I felt rushed to get them out of there to prevent more charges. I did not tell them that; so, they probably would have politely reassured me. I skipped the 3rd thing, because of time. Again, my decision and I did not share that info with them. The main job I needed got done and there were no extra charges. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of Jordan. In my mind, I got 1 guy for just under an hour and 2 guys for just under 30 minutes. I paid for 2 guys for an hour. I was just happy to get 2 of the three jobs done. It was obvious that they were busy. The second guy that came was the business owner!! Thanks to both for a job well done in a quick time. Again, I never told them about third task, bringing out my artificial tree for holidays. Skipped it and got a fresh cut tree delivered. MY DECISION. Thanks, guys.have used this company before and will again.

David and team went above and beyond to get the doors I ordered to work.

I was very pleased with the explanation of the two options I had on the sink repair and with the work that was carried out. Replacing the GFI switch proved to be a problem in that the original installer failed to secure the electrical box to the wall. It was being held in place by the outer cover. David resolved the problem. The light fixture also proved to be a challenge that had to be overcome. David had to remove the fan motor and rewire a portion of it. Had he not been as experienced as he is, I am sure this could have become a major problem. He notified me that he was going to be late for our appointment but gave me a new estimate of his arrival which I appreciated. If you are seeking a REAL Handyman, this is the guy you are looking for.

Work was very good. Mini Jobs actually corrected some minor issues that were in the original construction which improved the new deck appearance.

Hanging the lights was not done correctly and when I called to say so they wanted pictures before they were willing to come back.

This was not an easy fix. Basically, everything in my toilet had to be replaced and tested multiple times, but Blake spent the better part of an afternoon making sure it was done correctly and clearing a very clogged sink. I was very impressed with his level of professionalism. I was also pleased with the owner's (Dave's) responsiveness and follow-up. I'd work with this company again.

Some initial delay in getting calls back for scheduling date/time for work, but once that was set the repairman showed up on time, got right to work. He was courteous & professional. A problem with my plumbing drain pipe was discovered and he spent extra time attempting to remedy the situation for which I was not charged (they work by the hour). We reviewed and discussed options for repair on site. The supervisor followed up with itemized estimate for full bathroom renovation per my request and gave me a detailed explanation in face-to-face meeting a week later. However, my house plumbing problem is extensive, so I have opted to have licensed plumber in for these repairs.

They were very prompt and professional. The price was fair and the completed all the work agreed to beyond my expectations.

Had problems from the start. After getting an estimate, it took over a month to get a written contract and then another month until the work started. This was a job that should of taken 5 to 6 weeks tops. It took 15 weeks. There were many days when no one came. The contractor will say that they were waiting on something or there was some problem. I believe it was a case where they were stretched too thin and we were put on the back burner to wait. I have to say the workers were all polite and competent but we had problems dealing with the owner of the company even though he was also polite. The bathroom looks better than it did but there are things that could have been done better and I found little details that are not right. I just found that there was a lack of organization and clarity. We were never sure who was coming and did not end up with the same workers who started the project. I would not use again.

I did not have a very good experience with the folks at Mini-Jobs. The initial process was fine in the sense that they were up front about the fact that they charged by the hour, rather than providing a quote for a job. That should have been an alert to me, but it wasn't. I won't make that mistake again. Between an underestimate for the amount of time I would have to wait for the work to be started and an overall terrible level of communication during the project itself, I am very dissatisfied with my experience. To start with, I got a call, while out of town over the Thanksgiving holiday, that work would begin the next day at my home. Then, the work did not begin the next day and instead started the following day- throwing off my tenants' schedule in addition to my own. Even worse, on the actual day of the project the only detailed communication I got about the work was from my tenants, in spite of my having explicitly called and requested someone on the job site to contact me to keep me up to date. Since it was a per hour charge, I wanted to know what they were doing and how long it would take! I got no information throughout the day on the work at all, which is very discomforting when you aren't able to be on site for the project. I only later found out that a second handyman had joined the job in the afternoon, and so we were charged for each of their time as well. These pieces of information should have been provided to me in advance, and a simple phone call from the site (which I requested at least three times on that day) could have resolved many issues. Finally, after all of that, I find out that, in addition for charging for the time spent shopping for supplies (they were up front about that fact, at least), I was also being charged a premium for the supplies themselves. For all I know, this is standard practice in the industry, but since it isn't communicated explicitly anywhere on the invoice, it was very surprising to me. At the end of the day, though the work itself met expectations, the horrible issues with communication are something that I wanted to warn others about. I do not feel good about my experience working with this company and would not work with them again as a result of these frustrations.
