Refrigerator stopped running. I called and set up an appointment for late one afternoon, and the guy showed up and fixed a little part that probably only cost a few bucks. Nonetheless, he explained the minimum charge was $135, but I acted like I was having a heart attack and he knocked a little off. All in all, I know it costs money to stock a truck with parts, train people and have them driving all over to fix refrigerators, so I'm pretty happy and I wrote him a check on the spot.
I'm not as happy with a GE refrigerator that breaks after only five years, but the service was acceptable. If I could write reviews for GE refrigerators on Angie's List, they would get an F.

This was warranty work on a dryer. It squeaked. Darryl knew what it was immediately. Fixed it in less than 15 minutes.
He called ahead during the scheduled time period to give us notice. Phone service to set up appointment was also excellent.
Since we did not pay for this service we cannot comment on the price.

They showed up when they said and discovered the problem within 10 minutes. Took 20 minutes to fix. Charged triple what I could have bought the part for at Sears and labor was 180.00 for 30 minutes. Unbelievable. I will never make this mistake again.

I called on Tuesday to report my refrigerator stopped working and it was full of food. They said no one was available until Friday. I said that was unacceptable and that all of my food would spoil. They said sorry.Luckily for me the Fridge jumped back on and was still working when he arrived. He said the mother board was going out and it would jump on and off and may last 2 more weeks. Sine I was going out of town I decided to have it replaced.
The only reason I would use them again is because it was hard to find someone to work on GE appliance.

Mixed review. The first tech not so great. I was getting low gas pressuse to the unit. He said he would take longer than a minute and nothing was wrong wtith the unit.

The second tech came out and agreed with us about the problem. He did make an attempt to fix the problem, but he wrote everything up to get a discount on a new unit.

So, the ending was good.

The person who came out was efficient and got it done. Their cost included parts and service. They were excellent. He figured out what was wrong right away and fixed it. He had to come back because he didn't have the part to fix it. That was the first time we used them. They responded quickly and were straightforward. The price was reasonable.
