Honestly I told him I don't remember looking at the tub the last time it was reglazed 10 years ago and saying "WOW"-what a difference!! I asked him before the job if it would look like new and be bright and shiny white and he said if it isn't you don't pay me. Well, it was and I was more than happy to pay him! Very, very nice job. Looks like new. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Stuart called the night before scheduled arrival time. He confirmed the arrival time, address, and parking. The next morning he arrived right on time and got right to work. Stuart is a delightful, quick-witted man who enjoys his profession. Sanding and refinishing a bath tub can be a very messy job, but a flexible exhaust pipe was used to minimize fumes and plastic sheeting was placed to minimize dust. The same process was completed again three days later when Stuart returned to redfish the second bath tub. Both bath tubs look great! Fresh caulking around the edges make everything nice and renewed. Stuart even left a small container of paint in case I drop something on the tub and need a touch up.

Stuart did a fantastic job! The only problem was that the price given over the phone was $225, and at the end of the job he asked me how much did I tell you the cost was? I responded $225, and his response was no it will be $325. The price was still good, I only like to know ahead the actual cost.

I called him for some work to be done and he said he could come on a saturday because he would already be in my area of town. He said he would be here around 12:30, I called him at 12 to confirm the appointment and he informed me that he was cancelling this appointment. He then told me he would call me the next day to reschedule and I never heard back from him.

Mr. Green arrived on time and was polite even when faced with the old grungy tub in my rental house. He worked his magic and made the tub look brand new. He left directions to follow to ensure the new surface will last. His price was very fair and I was impressed with how great the new tub surface looked.

Except for a scheduling issue that delayed us by one day, we had a great experience. Stuart was very professional and did quality work. We originally thought both tubs would need to be completely redone but he said the few chipped areas could be repaired without much trouble and that I wouldn't be able to tell. That dropped the price a good bit which was music to my ears. I appreciate his honesty.

I highly recommend this company on all scales. Stuart arrived on time, starting working immediately. He was very informative on what he was going to do today and did it with excellent workmanship. He cleaned up so that the bathroom looked like it was brand new. His attitude was very professional and also gave us his published 10 % discount for Angie's members.

Stuart came as scheduled for estimate. He explained where to look for the tile that would be required, and as soon as we had the materials, he scheduled the job. Final repair looks fantastic. We are VERY impressed and VERY grateful.

My phone call to set up the appointment was returned promptly within 24 hours. I told him I found his listing on Angie's List. I was pleased with how Mr. Green assessed my problem and described the issue that could cause the cracking I was describing. He quoted me a price, per bathroom, but said it likely be much lower than that once he actually saw the bathrooms. I gave him the colors of my tile, noting that I didn't think the white caulking would look good in certain bathrooms. He assured me that almond was available and that he would use that. He arrived promptly on the day of my appointment, but had to leave within 30 minutes of arrival because he didn't come prepared with enough almond caulk. I was working from home that morning, but still didn't have an hour to waste waiting while he went to Home Depot and came back. I checked the first bathroom after he was finished, and noticed that there were areas where the caulking wasn't cleaned up on the tiles. I thought his attention to detail was lacking. When I told him about it, he went back and re-did the area in question, which I appreciated. I thought the pricing was higher than necessary, given the minimal amount of work he did in 3 of the 4 bathrooms. Within 10 minutes of his departure, I found the 10% coupon that I had printed and set aside to give him. He offers a 10% discount for Angie's List customers. But, since I forgot to give it to him, I didn't get the discount. He didn't even mention it. In my opinion, this shouldn't be like the grocery store, where if you don't hand the clerk a coupon, you don't recieve the discount. He knew I was an Angie's List customer. If he was trying to cater to this audience of clients, and he had a standing coupon for discounted services that he offered, he should have just given me the discount. But, he didn't.

Stuart left a great first impression - I called many companies on a Saturday to get price quotes and he was one of the few that answered and was available to talk to. We booked him on a Monday and he was able to come out the following Saturday which was great as our bathroom remodel was starting that day and we needed the tub ASAP. He was great about working around our contractors who were doing demo and coming and going. Very friendly, personable, fun sense of humor, taking the time to chat to me and my husband while staying professional and letting us know the process of the tub refinishing. The tub and feet look amazing! I would highly recommend Stuart and his company!

All bathroom resurfacing work was performed by the owner, Stuart Green, and looks great! Stuart is extremely hardworking and a skilled craftsman who does excellent work. I had originally planned to have only one tub refinished, and Stuart gave me a reasonable quote and appointment over the phone when I called him for an estimate. When he arrived, I asked about his ability to also re-glaze a countertop and re-grout the shower tiles as well. He noted the scatches in the floor of a second tub and gave me a written estimate for all four repairs. Fortunately, he had two days that he could devote to the job of re-glazing the tubs and countertop, beginning that day. Given that each tub needed two days to fully dry and cure, I put off having the shower job done for a week, so that we were not without a bathing option. It took a third day to complete. The re-glazing process is a challenging and somewhat hazardous task to do, and Stuart has perfected the process over the past 12 years, including the use of external venting. He is personable fellow and great professional. The tubs, shower and countertop look like new! Replacement would have been a lot more costly. Thank you, Angie's List, for helping me find an A+ resurfacing contractor.

I called to get an estimate and the company agreed to stop by on Saturday, 9/29. However, he was a no show. I called an hour after the scheduled time and left a message. He finally called on Monday, 10/1, afternoon to apologize. Too little, too late!

I am very happy to recommend Encore Refinishing and Stuart Green. Stuart got to work on time and started work immediately. The work was completed as promised, on time, and it looks great! He also made sure to give me the Angies List discount which I wasn't even aware of.

Stuart returned my call for information before I even finished leaving the voicemail message. That was a great intro to a really good experience. Stuart was clear about prices and very happy to give the Anglie's discount. The service - bathtub re-glazing - was tip top. Stuart had to repair/patch a very large chipped patch on the tub and did not charge extra for it. The work is beautiful, Stuart was very careful to keep everything clean and keep the fumes out of the house. I would definitely recommend Stuart to anyone.

Total project took about 2 1/2 days since you have to let the tub refinishing products cure a bit. Stuart Green does all the work himself, is very careful to protect all your floors, masks a lot, and cleans up well after the job is done.

This is the second time I use Encore Surfacing. Stuart was great the first time refinishing a bath tub for me, so I called him back again this time. I moved out of my condo and I asked Stuart to refinish my master bathroom bath tub for me before the tenants move in. Since I had to work, I left the front door key under the door mat and Stuart came the morning as schedule. He even took my payment over the phone when he was done. When I came back to the condo, the bath tub looked just like new. Stuart did another awesome job for me. I will definitely use his company again!

Excellent job. Stuart Green, the proprietor, is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained his process overall, and kept us informed of his progress along the way. He arrived as scheduled at 8:30 am, and was finished about four hours later; he left the work area spotless. We have Corian wall surfaces, and Stuart removed and replaced the old, mildewed caulking on those seams as well, even though it was not part of the job requirements. We opted for him to put a matte finish on the bottom of the tub which provides a non-slip surface, so I no longer have to cut and paste the grip-strips from Home Depot. The finish had to cure and set for 48 hours, and we had a sparkling new shower/tub ready for use, with a five-year warranty. This tub is on the upper level of an old home, and to replace it with a new unit would have been extremely difficult and costly.We highly recommend Encore Surfacing and Mr. Stuart Green if you require this kind of service.

Very happy with the service. He was able to give me a quote over the phone that was 30% lower then competitors. He was very accommodating with my schedule by coming in 2 days after I called. Stuart arrived 30 min late but did call ahead of time to tell me he was caught in ATL traffic. When he arrived he confirmed the quote and proceed to complete 30 min under the 6 hours he originally told me. He was busy for most of the day and was more then willing to show me each step.Very good experience and highly recommend his services.

I contacted Stuart at Encore Surfacing to get my master bathroom tub refinished. He gave me a quote of $425 over the phone but since there is a 10% coupon on Angie's List I only paid $380. He arrived right on time. Told me it would take six hours, he got done in about 5.5 hours. He used two exhaust fans to make sure the odor would not take over the house. In fact, by the time he was done caulking, I could not smell anything. He was very professional and I would definitely recommend him to anyone and I will certainly use him again.

Stuart confirmed the appointment and arrived on time. He was pleasant and careful. I thought the price was high before we started but after seeing how hard he worked and how long it took I feel like it was very fair. I will use him again and encourage you to.

Mr. Green did state to me over the phone that it was a loss a day of work and I wasted his time. And he stressed this to me over and over again. And I said to myself this is not how a professional man should act over the phone or to my tenants. He was not even in the house no more than 20 min. and like I said I was very displeased of his service. But I was please that I found another company and they have the job done with in three business working days and very professional and that was A-frame home repair.

He was careful with his work, and cleaned up and exhausted fumes from entering into other rooms. I highly recommend his service.
