Description of Work: They installed a new gas log set and inspected and repaired the chimney. Mad hatter appears to be more costly than others providing similar services. However their professionalism and expertise more than justifies any additional cost. They truly exemplify the saying "you get what you pay for". They have a very large showroom and have people on staff who are clearly experts in their field. You pay a little more there but are getting very high quality goods and services. They simply do not sell inferior products.

Description of Work: I had somebody out today. It was Mad Hatter to clean my chimney and inspect it. I had some other stuff done too. There was a crack in the firebricks.

Description of Work: We wanted to have our wood burning fireplace changed to a gas log fireplace. The former owners had not fixed a cracked rear wall, so we needed to have the rear wall replaced and the chimney reswept before the gas logs installation. All three projects were completed in the same visit to our satisfaction.

Description of Work: The guys they send over where on time and very friendly. Did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Other then everything being clean you would never know they had been there. Dryer vent was included not extra like other vendors.

Description of Work: I wanted an estimate to get a liner installed in my masonary chimney for my wood stove. They would no come out unless they could do a sweep. I refused to spend money for an unneeded service. I might use them in future, but they would be my second choice.

Description of Work: The vents had never been cleaned in our home of 7 years. We were soon to have a child and wanted the house as clean as possible. They did an incredible JOB and were very professional. Not the cheapest out there, but the most professional and best cleaning. Will use them again.

Description of Work: I thought they were good but now lousy. the chimney pan pings whenever it rains, very loud and even scares the cats! The other work looks sloppy.
