"Thank you for taking the time to leave your review! We appreciate this and your business very much."
"We are very sorry to hear you have not been satisfied with the services we provided. Upon reviewing your account, we see that you had a few service calls/maintenance visits in 2015. We would love the opportunity to correct any situation you were unhappy with since 2014 as noted in your review. Please feel free to give us a call and speak with a manager. We have rebuilt our office team and know you would be much happier!"
"Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review for us. We greatly appreciate it! Thank you for being a loyal customer!"
Information I provided to the Tech: Unit will not go through the ignition sequence after the thermostat activated the draft inducer. Possibly a pressure switch and/or igniter control unit. Also needed a new igniter.
Tech's first diagnostic work consisted of informing me the unit was very old and that there was rust in the heat exchanger (common). He could not repair due to company policy not to make repairs they could not warranty. I guess I kinda understand, it is an old unit, but I was very disappointed in the service in that the only repair offered was replacement and zero troubleshooting/testing was performed to determine why the unit would not ignite. Tech informed me that it would possibly cost around $500 to repair if it was the HSI controller, plus the igniter. These parts are available for about $200 and would take 30 minutes for a novice to replace, so my thoughts overall is this company is not good for repair work of older systems. Though they may be good for repairing/maintaining newer systems based on the other reviews I read (which led me to call them in the first place). I do not mean this to be a general slam on the company or Tech, but in my case, I was not happy with the level of service I received.
"We are very sorry to hear you were not pleased with the services provided to you. Unfortunately there are many other items factored into repair costs for businesses, ie: insurance, fuel costs, labor rates, administrative expenses. We understand parts can be found online for a reasonably lower cost than quotes we provide; however, when it comes to an HVAC system we feel it is safer to pay an experienced professional to make the repair. It can also be difficult to diagnose problems with older equipment because more often it can be multiple variables causing the issues. Again, we are very sorry you were not satisfied and do thank you for your past business!"
Milton Mechanical.
I worked with Herb on what I needed and he took it from there. He is extremely knowledgeable with
alot of experience in the A/C business. While their workload was extremely packed, Herb found a
way to get my new A/C system installed in less than 48 hours after I first called him. Most companies
do not do that today..........a schedule is a schedule coming from dispatch.
Highly recommend as a company that is not the "big dog" in the Atlanta area......but they may be the
best in the Atlanta area based on my experience.
"Thank you so much for taking time to leave us a review. We're thrilled that the entire process was smooth and satisfactory! We truly appreciate your business!"
As it turns out, my system didn't need a fan motor, just a new capacitor. This saved me almost $400 off the original "worst-case" estimate. The technician replaced the part and I was back up and running in no time. He also checked my other systems to make sure they were functioning properly.
I am very happy with the honest and timely service I received and will definitely call Milton Mechanical the next time I have an issue! I highly recommend them.

"Ms. [removed member name], We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service you received in April 29th and 30th of 2014. After reviewing of your account, it would appear you were only charge the original service call fee on April 29th, and $350.00 for the control board on April 30th. Unfortunately, some furnaces accept the universal boards we keep stock on our service vehicles, but your furnace required an OEM board which was the reason for a return visit on April 30th. We understand that this may have been an inconvenience for you. If you feel you were charged $900.00, please contact us and provide documentation and we will be happy to investigate this issue for you. Furthermore, we see in the file that Dustin left a message on May 2nd, 2014 regarding duct work improvements. We apologize if there is some confusion or lack of follow-up on our end, and again, please do contact us if you have overpaid with the amount on record here."
"Thank you for your business and for taking the time to leave us a review! We greatly appreciate it!"
"Mr. [removed member], I am so sorry you have had a poor experience with another company; however, we have never been to your property and do not have a customer by your name or contact information in our database. We are aware of another company with similar name in our area, and often receive calls looking for their employees. Perhaps you have confused us with someone else. If we can be of assistance, please do not hesitate contacting us."
"Thank you for your rating & review, [member name removed]! It is always a pleasure doing business with you. thank you for being our customer!"
