Response from Atlanta City Appliance Repair, Inc
The customer purchased angies list coupon and we have called her right the way and scheduled it, Upon arriving the tech checked the stove, her husband was at home and he pointed the tech to a completely different issue-igniter issue. At some point, it was a miscommunication between them. The issue that was reported to us "LG gas stove oven heating up but you turn it on not reaching the temperature." So, after the diagnostic, the tech figured out that the issue is with a temperature sensor or a control board, or both, but he can't tell for sure because the readings from both parts were not consistent, so the tech told customer that we need to start with a replacement of the temperature sensor (less expensive part) and if it would fix the issue then it is only $180 for everything, but if it wouldn't fix the issue then the control board needs to be replaced that would be $350 including everything. Also there was the small issue with igniter on top of temperature issue. So the tech provided an estimate for control board as well as including a replacement of the igniter in the price. The customer wasn't happy with all of it, and she didn't proceed with repair. Our office called customer several times and explained everything but she was not happy with our service at all. At this point we can't do anything else about it, our service call is low, we scheduled an appointment promptly, the tech was on time and polite, the tech was listening customers, the estimate was provided, our office called customer a few times to discuss unsatisfied experience, so we have done everything we could to make this service visit right. Hopefully, all current and future customers would understand that sometimes our service is not perfect, but all our reviews speak for themselves and once in while we do have some issue with the service, but we work hard to improve it.
