The tech was on time, quick to diagnose and had the part in his truck. He replaced the part and fixed the problem. The tech was very pleasant and showed me what and where the problem was. Would definitely recommend AAR# 1 Atlanta Appliances Repair LLC. Purchased a discount coupon for $29.95 which gave me a $55.00 discount off the total price of $210.00.

I located them on Angies List, called them and they came out within hours. They needed to replace the heating element for my dryer which had stopped heating. They needed to order a part and returned the next afternoon and replaced it and it works great. The repair man was very professional and did a good deal of work. I am very pleased and will definitely call them in the future for any appliance needs.

They were very professional and very knowledgeable. The service tech was very helpful. They were prepared and very responsive.

The provider came on a Tuesday and said the problem was the heating element. He said it would cost us $210 to fix it, in addition to the $30 service visit fee (special Angie's list offer). However, he did not open the freezer panel, but instead made his diagnosis based only on seeing frost on the back panel. He said he would return on Thursday with the part and make the repair. We agreed to the repair. When the provider returned on Thursday, he said that the control panel was also faulty and that they would fix that for only $100 more. Needless to say, I was angry. I felt this was a bait and switch and said that we did not want him to do the repair. We had already decided that, given the age of the freezer/refrigerator, we were only going to spend $300 on repairs. More than that and we would replace the unit. But mainly we were upset that he did not do an appropriate diagnosis in the first place. If he had removed the panel (which in retrospect we should have asked him to do) and said he couldn't yet make the diagnosis without defrosting first, but that it might cost x, y, or z, depending on what he found subsequently, that would be one thing. But instead he didn't do due diligence, and then wanted to increase the price once we were more committed. For all I knew, both parts really did need replacing, but I didn't trust the company anymore, which is why I said we didn't want them to do any of the repairs. They then lowered the price to an additional $50. I declined for the same reasons. To their credit, the company called back and said that they wanted to make us happy. I said that the way to make us happy was to fix the fridge for the price they had originally quoted. They agreed and the provider fixed the freezer/refrigerator. It has been working well for the past 10 days. So, on the one hand I appreciate that they did what I asked to make things right. On the other hand, I was very disappointed with their diagnosis and pricing approach. I think it is unprofessional, and I told them so. I said that in the future they should be more careful about their diagnoses, and if they are not sure, they should say so, and list the various possibilities for problems and prices. I worry that they do this kind of thing and hope that other customers don't call them on it. I gave them a B because they made things right, but I would not use them again.

He came to see our dishwasher. He mentioned that the way the dishwasher is installed, he cannot take it out to repair one of the door hinges. So no work was done. He just gave an estimate what will he charge in case I can get the dishwasher out myself. Overall it was okay.

The appliance man gave full disclosure on this repair. He thought that we would be better off buying a new dryer as ours is older and approaching the point where more items may begin to break down. We decided not to do the repair at this time. We appreciate his advice and will use him in the future.

Very good responsiveness and customer service. They were very prompt with setting up initial appointment to inspect and diagnose issue. They provided me with multiple options to repair the dishwasher or replace it. We went with the repair and just like the first appointment they were very quick to setup a time to come complete the repair. They shows up right on time for both appointments and completed the service very quickly. Their pricing was very fair for the services performed. I'm certain I would have spent much more if I went with another service provider. I would highly recommend this company!

I was having trouble with my oven working. Since I used this company back in January to repair my oven, I called them again and received a return call within a few minutes by their office manager. She was able to schedule me two days out, which was great! I requested Gena, the service technician. He came on time as usually and replaced the igniter that was the problem. As he was completing the replacement he explained how it worked. He also clarified for me what the other components were and did that I thought would be causing the issue. Gena knows how everything works in the oven and the steps needed to repair it. He was prompt in completing the repair and he is very helpful and professional. Maytag oven was not working. Johnny from Atlanta Appliance Repair fixed the problem within an hour. I had an Angie's List coupon for a diagnostic fee plus a discount on any work. When I started to pay, Johnny informed that the diagnostic fee was only paid if there were no repairs, and my overall bill was less than expected. I would use them again.

I speak english, he spoke broken english. very hard to understand and communicate. thought he was going to "tear the oven drawer out and I finally stepped in and suggested there was a latch or something in there to keep the drawer from accidentally pulling all the way out, so...he looked and found the "locks". Also he brought a very small light to see with so I went and got him a good flashlight so he could see better. He did not attempt to put the over drawer back in when he finished.

It went very well. Money well spent. They were prompt, courteous, and did what they said they were going to.

He spent an hour diligently working, but unfortunately determined the control panel was faulty and replacement parts were no longer available. I appreciate that there were no extra charges (just the $29.95 paid through Angie's List) and he provided good advice on new washers. Would highly recommend.

Response to my e-mail service request was extremely quick and I was able to get an appointment for the same day. The repair was completed efficiently & neatly. The technician spoke poor English with a thick accent. When I asked him why the washer was showing a message of "SUD" he insisted that meant it was off-balance, even though the manual said that it meant there was a detergent buiild-up. He wouldn't or couldn't explain the discrepancy. When I asked him how an off-balance situation could be fixed, he replied that it required a lot of labor and replacement of the bearing. He went on to say it wasn't his fault and that I was not to call his company to fix it! He said that it was a very expensive repair, and I could replace the washer for a little more than the cost of the repair. His work was great, but his attitude, when questioned was irritable, and slightly belligerent

Very quickly, actually. The repair man came a little earlier than planned and went directly to work and was finished within an hour.

We discovered that our dish-washer was not draining at around 10.00am on a Saturday morning. A quick review of Angie's List turned up "A" graded provider nearby - AAR#1 Atlanta Appliance Repair Llc . I called them and spoke to a very pleasant/helpful young lady who arranged a service call between 1:00 and 3:00pm that afternoon. We were called thirty minutes before the technician arrived. He was friendly and personable. He spent some time checking the dishwasher and cleaning the pumping system before recommending that the dishwasher required a new pump assemble at a cost of $250. Our research had alreadyy told us that our SAMSUNG dish-washer has a poor reliability history, particularly with pump motors. Our susequent research indicated that the $250 quoted by the tecnician to repair the machine was quite reasonable in view of the high cost of the replacement part (again checked on the net). The technician did not try and "hard sell" us on replacing the pumb when we decided (on the spot) to replace the dish-washer with a new Bosch machine. The charge for the diagnostic call, $29.95, was more than reasonable. We will certainly call AAR#1 if (when) we need any future appliance repairs and highly recommend them.

Good service, good price, quick response

We loved that the provider was very timely in his response. We were able to get a service call in within 48 hours, but he needed to schedule another date for the repair in order for him to obtain the necessary parts. At the service call, he continued to ask us for a check when his website clearly states that his business accepts credit cards. When he did come to repair our washer, he again asked us for a check even though we had already established that we'd be paying by credit card. He then explained that he would have to assess a $3 fee for our credit card payment, and my husband relented. Though $3 is a very minimal charge, it felt unprofessional to insist on a check when his website states that they take all major credit cards. They should probably state that checks or cash are preferred. That was a little frustrating. Update (11/1/15): Because we knew that the tech had requested cash or check last time, my husband offered cash/check this time, but he apparently remembered we had wanted to pay by credit last time. What made us decide to change our rating was because we appreciated his being mindful of our previous visit and that he did offer us a reduced rate on this visit. Let's hope the washer holds, but if it doesn't, we probably wouldn't mind calling them again.

Our technician was very prompt and professional. He determined the ice make was defective he quoted a price to replace the defective unit and immediately went to the supply house, picked up the new part and installed it all within 2 hours. The office was very efficient and called to confirm appointment and give a full description of how the service call would be handled. Everything was done promptly and courteously.

They refunded what they charged me because they were unable to diagnose the problem. I was so pleased that they were so conscientious and honest. They were very polite and I would definitely use them again in the future.

I called this company a few times before. The tech was at my house within 1 hour. He took my entire garbage disposer apart. I had tried all the things that recommended on different appliance websites, but nothing worked. I got the humming noise from this garbage disposer. After working on it for 30 minutes, tech discovered a tiny metal piece inside. I was thinking to purchase a brand new disposer, but he repaired the old one. Now this one is working great and so quiet. Thanks to tech from Atlanta Appliance Repair, now garbage disposer works fabulously.

The technician arrive on time and inspected my dishwasher. He cleaned the drain and I asking him to show me how to do it, and we was fine showing me. We then started up the dishwasher and found the source of the leak. He then told me it would cost as much to fix as it would if I got a base model dishwasher from Lowe's/Home Depot (knowing full well he may not get the business to install it). I give him a lot of respect for this. We are gonna pickup a new dishwasher but his honesty about the pricing will definitely have me reaching for their number again next time something goes wrong.

They arrived on time and it was the most friendliest service....Friendly guy named Genna and however I have tasked to on the phone were friendly and very professional, they were good on details and once technician Genna arrived he had to get a part for the washing machine which he did relatively fast , I thought it would take days and he was able to get it that same day, somewhere on the other side of town and didn't charge me anything extra for the time it took him to drive to get the part. My water pipe burst this winter freeze and my washing machine did not work after wards. AAR came out the very next day that I called them and fixed my washer right on the spot. They were on point and very knowledgeable.
