Excellent!! They say "things happen for a reason", well I found this contractor after being stood up by another contractor. Butch the owner, contacted me promptly. After, I told him about my situation with the other contractor, him made special arrangements to paint my two rooms imediately. I was very grateful. Both rooms look great, and we are going to have him back to do the whole house! In addition, we will hire him to do other work in the house, ie flooring.

Great! We submitted an online request over the weekend and received a call very early on Monday morning. We set the appointment for Wednesday. Jake arrived on time and called ahead to let us know he was on the way. He quickly determined the issue (broken heating element) and let us know the possible cause (lint buildup in the body of the dryer) and how much it would be to fix it. He had it fixed and cleaned the dryer in under an hour! Jake was very helpful, friendly and did a great job!

Our technician, Gena, arrive within the appointed time frame at 5:00. He was professional and appropriately dressed. he was efficient and identified our problem - a broken starter/capacitor. He replaced the starter and the refrigerator resumed operation. Gena cleaned up and got everything back in order. He was helpful, friendly and courteous. Furthermore, he patiently answered all of our questions. The price with and Angie's List coupon came to $216 - a fair price. If we have an appliance problem in the future, we'll definitely call AAR#1!

I called about 10:50am asking when I could schedule an appt. I was told today between 11 and 1. I double checked as it was 10:50. She confirmed that they could be there between 11 and 1. Cost was $30 for a service visit which would be applied to the repair if I went with them. Around 12:15, I got a call saying he (Jesse) was on his way and confirmed my location. He gave me a couple options for how to fix it and left my place before 1:00 pm. A couple other places said they couldn't get to me until tomorrow and one even said Thursday. Thanks to Jesse and Atlanta Appliances Repair my freezer is back working!

Providers are always late, so I was shocked when the repairman called at exactly one minute after 8am, which was the scheduled time. He was very nice. He wasn't sure exactly what was causing the refrigerator to not cool, so he spent at least an hour taking it apart. I had everything in the freezer, which was still working. He thought that the problem was behind the freezer portion, and was nice enough to help me take everything out and put it in coolers. The problem ended up being the heating element. I didn't even know fridges had a heating element, but evidently it keeps other electrical from freezing, which is what was happening, and the back of the freezer was covered in ice, which I hadn't even noticed. He showed me the old piece, which was blackish and warped. After he replaced it, you could feel the cool air blowing into the fridge. Success! He was there for about three hours, and the total bill was $198, including the part. I thought this was very fair, considering the amount of time he was there and all the work! I asked him to come back and see if he could fix my ice maker, which leaked. He told me to change the filter in the fridge, which evidently needs to be changed every six months. I had not replaced it in 10 years! He told me that it was definitely full, and if I replaced it the water would taste much better, and it would probably stop the leak. I bought a new one online for $35, and he was completely right! He could have told me anything, and I would have believed him. He saved me another costly repair visit by being honest. I really appreciate it. I would definitely use this company again. My ONLY complaint was the the repairman asked if he wanted him to leave the old part "so my husband could look at it". I was insulted, as I don't have a husband, and own my condo. I suppose they train their repairpeople so say that, however. Considering that not everyone is married, and my building is mostly gay, they might want to amend this question.

Nadia did a excellent job of communicating multiple times in an effort to understand and schedule properly. David arrived and performed the diagnosis. Contacted me by phone, made recommendations and managed my cost perfectly. Did not offer a service which was not good for my interest. Very thankful I found a trusted appliance vendor. I will use them again.

They fixed the freezer without needing a part and quoted $290 to fix one burner on my range.

Yes actually they did not do any work for me they came out, they did the service call what happen was I needed a repair on my furnace for my house and I did a search on angieslist for furnace repair and and Atlanta appliances came up and they came out they said oh we thought this was an oven we didn't realize this was a home furnace we don't work on home furnaces, I think the problem may have been the search person on angieslist and the categories submit on the service provider may have been incorrect on angieslist.

After Sears could not fix our dryer, AAR came out and fixed it quickly and efficiently.

It went okay. I ended up replacing the refrigerator but always try.

I have an old (1999) model Kenmore over the range microwave which was failing to heat and needed a new part. Jake came out, diagnosed the problem, clearly explained my options and provided a very reasonable quote. The part had to be ordered so Jake returned within the week to finish the job. In spite of a great deal of difficulty getting the microwave off of the mount, Jake remained good-natured and went above and beyond to complete the job. There was one minor issue after Jake left and he came back, again within a week, and fixed it at no additional charge. I could not be happier with AAR's level of service and dedication. I will definitely use them again and recommend them!

He arrived on time and after just a few minutes diagnosed the problem as a faulty ice maker. Told me what two items could be causing the problem and estimates for each item. Told him due to age of refrigerator, I did not want to do both so he agreed that if replacing the motor did not fix the problem, he would uninstall it and reinstall the original motor at no additional cost. Thought that was very fair and he replaced the motor and it has worked very since the appointment.

They called shortly after I put in the service request and scheduled the appointment. The technician arrived on time. He was polite and professional. He explained what he had to do and that it was a part that he needed that he didn't have. He said he would try the local store down the street and would return if he found it. He didn't return, so I assumed he didn't find the part. He said he would call on the following Monday, but on Tuesday I had to call them back. He returned on Wednesday and fixed the dishwasher. Everything is fine now.

Excellent, professional service. No complaints at all. We feel we found the company to go to for any appliance repairs we may need in the future.

We ran a load immediately after repairman left. Same problem..water on the floor under the washer? Called the repair office, was told they could come back tomorrow. Couldn't come same day because they had other appointments. Repairman called & said we should run a few loads & see it that works! We found another company that could come quickly. We stopped payment on the check to Atlanta Appliance Repair. So the 1st repair cost $29.95 for coupon from Angie's List & $31 for strop payment fee.

Came right out the next day. He diagnosed the problem as the bearings going bad but that if we kept the loads light it could still carry on for a while. This was exactly what I needed to know which was- What is problem? How much will it cost? He said to repair it would be some $6-700 but wouldn't be worth it. It was a perfect service. Honest and straightforward with no twists or trying to upsell. Would definitely use them again as I trust them. We'll wind up getting a new washer soon.

Responsive when I called. Next day availability and showed up on time. Fixed issue same day and gave a lot of feedback about our washer and tips for cleaning/preventing issues going forward. It was nice to have a working washer 24 hours after breaking without having to buy a new one.

Gena done a wonderful job in diagnosing the problem and came back with the parts to fix it. Unfortunately,, one of the burners was badly stuck and it may break the glass top; so, after considerable effort, we decided not to proceed with the repair--. Gena was very professional and we will call him back for any of our future needs.

Little hasty in diagnosing but fixed the issues once we identified the real issue.

Ordered replacement parts which were installed in a later visit. Both visits were fairly quick and the price was pretty reasonable, definitely a lot less than the cost of a new dishwasher

I was looking to have services with them but it ended up with only a service call so I ended up with repair work with the company. The repair works was pretty expensive. I wouldn’t recommend on having that. He was very responsive. He was on time.
