It went great. The salesman, Heywood, was fantastic and went above and beyond to make everything right. Taylor, in the office, was fantastic with returning calls and calling me to check-in to ensure everything was done on schedule and correctly. The flooring installers did a great job and their painter did a very good job painting the baseboards and stair risers. I found Mr. Hardwood to be very professional and thorough.

Corey and his crew are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, punctual and produce high-quality work. They're excellent at follow-up and always respond to requests with a positive attitude. We chose to use them because of recommendation, but ultimately because they are a Christian organization. Lastly, their morals and ethics reflect this. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for all your flooring needs!!

This is the most dysfunctional organization we have partnered with. The wife is a huge disruption as she is a negative force who tries to run a business based off of the business acumen of a hairdresser (she is a hairdresser and comes and goes at will). Before we partnered with Corey, we asked many questions and did what I believe to be our due diligence. I believe now, that the truth is a key component and if the truth is not provided, you can’t make an educated decision. This couple touted themselves as a Christian couple, based on Christian principles, which is not the case, that alone is blasphemous. We have Corey’s wife, Peggy on video degrading an employee without any disregard to humanity; this took place with Corey present, who did not stand up for what was right. This is a common occurrence as she also degrades the owner, Cory in front of employees making them feel extremely uncomfortable. There are several unethical business practices that will soon come to light. Just please be aware and take your due diligence to another level as this company is well versed on what to say and to “creatively” maneuver around situations.

Excellent. The sales representative was very professional and helpful in determining what we needed. The refinishing crew was very timely and did a great job on the floors. They also did an excellent job minimizing the dust generated from sanding the floors.

Corey, owner of Mr. Hardwood, was so courteous and professional. Our hardwood in our kitchen was ruined and he took the time to explain what he was going to do to fix it and assure me that he could take care of it with the care of a detailed craftsmen. He did a great job and I appreciate Mr. Hardwood so much!

WoW! So where do I start. First, I would like to thank Corey (Owner) of Mr. Hardwoods. Note: He really does look like MacGyver or his twin. I made an appointment and he was very punctual. I explained that I had installed vinyl flooring in our basement but started making mistakes. After showing me the problems, I was having he made recommendations to remedy the problems. I went and purchased the additional extra flooring to finish entire basement. He got one of his crews on it and honestly, I didn’t know how it would turn out. I came home early from work and found them all hard at work and I was surprised they were finishing up. Corey said it was an all-day job, but his crew was done in 5 hrs. WoW! It took me over 2 days putting it down in 2 rooms and making mistakes. They saved most of my other boards I had and this sure save me a lot of money. Now my basement is finished and looks fantastic. I will be using them again for our basement stairs and for my company’s business. I can’t say better things about them at this point.

This was an extremely complicated job as we wanted to remove the carpeting in our living room and have it connect with the hardwoods in the rooms that were on either side of it without transitions so it appeared as if it was always fully covered with wood. The challenge came when it was discovered that the woods in one side were installed left to right and the other side was right to left! After some head scratching and knowing that we would not accept any transitions, the lead installer figured out a method of accomplishing this amazing feat and after all the sanding, staining, and the coats of high quality polyurethane. We were more than satisfied, ecstatic might be a better word. We totally love the outcome, it was better than I ever imagined and cannot give them enough praise for their work.

These people offered a lifetime warranty, I fell for it. The calls went without response. The finish on my floor wen bad within two years. I will not call them back to honor their lifetime warranty because thier service was so bad and overpriced from the beginning. I will never let them in my house again. When they will not even answer your calls within a month and respond you can pretty much figure it out. It is a lot of work for the homeowner to have floors refinished. These people were terrible!

From the estimate to the finished product, the staff with Mr. Hardwood was professional and great at their craft! My floors look amazing and I am so pleased.

From start to finish, Leo Barbosa and his crew were a pleasure to work with. The cost estimate for the job was reasonable and competitive. The entire team was professional and punctual; it was clear from the start that they are masters at their craft. The crew cleaned up after themselves every day before leaving. I am a perfectionist and I could not be any happier with the work they did. The end result is beautiful! Corey, the owner of the company, called me personally to make sure I was satisfied with the work, almost unheard of in this day and age. I would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone.

Everything went well from beginning to end. Mr. Hardwood and their employees far exceeded my expectations. They were extremely respectful and courteous and got the job done in a timely fashion. Allen was so helpful along with the entire crew and management when I made my deposit and signed the contract. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Hardwood and will use them in the future when hardwood work is needed.

Leo and his crew were responsive, reliable, professional and took great pride in their work.

They did great work, are reliable and provide a quality product as well as service. I will recommend and use them, again.

Bad customer service. Bad quality of work. Just a bad experience overall.

I am writing this review because of the disappointing customer service we received for our inquiry with this company. Granted this was a while ago, but I figured I am probably not the only one. Upon first contact we were told that before they could meet me in my home to measure, I needed to come to their “showroom”. I did so very quickly, driving 45 minutes to get there after confirming I was coming with the owner. When I arrived, the “team” / staff was actually too busy getting ready for trip to consult or spend any meaningful time with me or to inquire about my project needs. They pointed me to their “office size showroom” and had me browse mostly on my own. They did have someone come and pull samples but he was clear that he was “not a sales person and couldn’t really answer my questions”. THAT was supposed to occur with the in-home consult. After picking out a few samples, I made the appointment for measuring in my home with the promise that they would bring the samples I selected when they came to measure. On the appointment day, not only did the person not show on time, I was told that they “scrambled and were then sending someone else”. The person who came eventually at the end of the day - although he was very well meaning - “was just learning” and actually hadn’t done measuring on his own before. He even had to call the office and ask questions about how to do it properly (good thing he was willing to ask but still...). All of that was perhaps tolerable except he did not have the samples I had driven almost two hours there and back to select at THEIR request. So he made another appointment to drop off the samples. (#moretimewasted). Not only did he not show up at that appointment - I never got the samples or a quote or any actual service. When I was at the showroom they were very “proud” to talk about all of the celebrity homes they have done. If you are a celebrity or have a huge high end custom home, then perhaps they give more care to how they treat customers and respect their time. All I can say is that we were ready to buy, ready to hire and the treatment from this company was incredibly disappointing. And not even a quote for my time. To be completely fair they did call and ask if “there was anything they could do”. My answer by that time was simple: if they were that discourteous and disrespectful of my time as a potential customer - I simply couldn’t even imagine working with them on a job. It’s a shame. I really liked the energy of the owner when I first spoke with him and was hoping for actual help and a real flooring solution (whole house by the way - not a small job by any means).

Perfect, the company was thoughtful and courteous throughout. Mr. Corey takes great pride in his business and it is apparent in his service delivery.

They price was good and the quality great. I did research and they are who I chose. They workers were very good, reliable, pleasant and knowledgeable. It took 3 workers about 8 hours and two days. They applied one coat and then came back the next day to apply another coat.

My husband and I are moving from KY to GA. I drove about 400 miles to be in GA for my appointment. My appointment was scheduled for Monday, 7/10. The crew never showed up and after hours on the phone with multiple people I was told a different crew would show up the next day between 12-1. The reason I was given the crew didn't show up was they thought it was scheduled for 7/17 but the work order clearly showed it was scheduled for 7/10. The next day a different crew showed up at 2pm(an hour late) and did good work. They came back on Wednesday and finished the job and the floors look great. The customer service, punctuality and professionalism from the managers at Mr. Hardwood was terrible. Their company appears to be disorganized and the communication with each other and with their customers is lacking. I would not hire this company again.

There was initially a few communication issues, but they made every effort to do a great job once we got past those. They were very responsive, prompt, and my foyer looks great. This was my first time using this company, and would recommend them to other people!

Reasonable price. Results looked great. Took a little longer than estimated, but probably because the job was a little harder than they predicted. I was happy to get it done for that price.

We competitively bid hardwood flooring, carpet installation and a stairway remodel (staining treads and hand railings to match flooring, replacing a newel post, and switching from wooden to wrought iron spindles) amongst five highly rated vendors, and Mr. Hardwood won hands down. We were a little concerned about having all three projects done by a hardwood flooring company (maybe we should go with three separate companies, based on specialty?), but it quickly became apparent that these guys aren’t just hardwood flooring experts, but also expert carpet installers, plus they know how to make a stair remodel happen. Our project was time-sensitive, but Mr. Hardwood figured out a way to get it all done on time and with perfect execution. The results are spectacular: the craftsmanship applied to the wood flooring install is pure perfection; likewise for the carpet installation (we had some very tough room size and geometry issues, yet Mr. Hardwood came through with flying colors on every single issue) as well as for the stair remodel (excellent woodworking and perfect stain matching). Simply put, we just love, love the results! Every bit of our floors, our carpet and our stairs are beautiful and perfect, and we have Mr. Hardwood to thank for everything. The icing on the cake? Their personnel are the best - - the nicest guys and gals throughout - - and just a real pleasure to work with.

It was chaos. It was a lot of scraping an removal. The second guy that came out was very meticulous and slow. I called the owner and told him you will not believe the dust in my house, the paint is all ruined. He sent someone out to repaint all the walls. It took over a month. For a three day job to turn into 38 days it's ridiculous. At one point I had to go out and wake one guy up in the car. They left tools in the driveway. When it was time to pay him he wanted to take $800 off a $4000 job. I would never use them again. The floors are fine. It just took way to long and way to many people in my house.

I am absolutely floored (pun intended) by our experience with Mr. Hardwood. I tend to be a little gun-shy about major home projects, but John's kindness, professionalism, and sense of humor put me immediately at ease. The level of personal attention and care he took was extraordinary. John was personally invested in our project, and eager to deliver a beautiful finished product as efficiently and painlessly as possible. I'm thrilled with the result. Every step of the process was thoughtfully tailored to our needs and preferences. Cristiano and the team were punctual, thorough, and highly professional. This was, hands down, the best customer service experience of my life. Furthermore, our stunning new floors have transformed our entire house. This was easily worth the investment, and I'd recommend Mr. Hardwood in a heartbeat to anyone looking to upgrade their floors.
