 + -1 moreI am very pleased with Maid in America. There is a lot of good communication between the owner Vicky and her customers. The cleaners she sends have done an excellent job and are very professional and friendly. The cleaning days and times are very consistent. I don't have to worry that my cleaner will not show up. The cleaners are not slow but do a very good job.

 + -1 moreWe could not be happier with this company. The staff (Tiara and Angel) are very punctual and begin work immediately. Only one comes at a time. They are very pleasant and friendly, almost like sisters to me, and we talk while they work. They make sure to address all the items on the list we provided and often ask about other items I may have forgotten. Their professionalism is above what I expected and they are a real asset to the company. I would highly recommend both of them and Maid In America to anyone wanting this type of service. Angel helped us to child-proof our home in anticipation of our 18 month old grandson coming to visit. She is truly an "angel."
Description of Work: clean bathrooms, kitchen, bed rooms ( entire house) dust, vacuum, mop and she talks to me. Having pleasant conversation is always welcomed.

 + -1 moreI've been a client of Maid in America for almost a year. I've been very impressed with their punctuality, responsiveness, and professionalism. The price is higher than I've paid before, but I'm very pleased with Vicky, the owner, and her technicians. She is very detail-oriented and flexible when setting up the services at the beginning. I always appreciate the reminder email that comes before the cleaning. I also appreciate that the technicians use the clients' vacuum, as to not distribute pet dander and other allergens from house to house. In May we had some family come into town at the last minute, and it was a chaotic scramble to get everything ready. I got confused about my cleaning date, and had also scheduled the dog groomer to come at the same time. Vicky and Jessie, the technician, were so amazing and accommodating in coordinating the time and date. They really helped to reduce our stress and aggravation, and it is greatly appreciated! I've recommended Maid in America to anyone who asks, and am happy to say that several of my referrals have also turned into clients.

Description of Work: initial cleaning. We start our weekly service tomorrow. The tech did an outstanding job. She more than meet expectations. Price was a little higher than original estimate, but well worth it.

 + -1 moreWhen I got home my house wasn't put back together. They left a rug thrown over the bathtub and things weren't put away. It's like the lady left without putting things back. When they called me back I stated that I did not want the services any longer. They later sent me an email that my cleaner lady was no longer with the company, but that didn't make me feel any better because she had been in my house. I didn't want to hire anyone from the company again. The owner of the company is very professional, but the person who did the cleaning was not the best.
Description of Work: The first time they came and did the whole housecleaning. The second time they came they did regular house cleaning as well.

 + -1 moreVicky was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We had exchanged several emails prior to our appointment and she was always very quick to respond. Nikki showed up during the one hour time window we were given and went to work right away after I gave her a quick tour of the home. She worked tirelessly for 5.5 hours and did a great job. Our home was sparkling by the time she was done. I would not hesitate to use Vicky and her crew in the future.
Description of Work: This was a full move-in cleaning of a new home.

 + -1 moreI just had an awful experience with ?Maid in America?. I called this morning to ask for their service and the person that I spoke was too busy to take the time to speak to a new customer. After I asked a couple questions as I am unfamiliar with house cleaning services she said that she could have someone come out to my home by 12pm or 1pm. I then asked if she could do 2pm and she again became frustrated explaining that this was her busiest day. She rudely told me she was trying to go out of town and needed call me back in 15 minutes because a customer just walked in, which I can understand. She called me back and explained she is declining my business. I asked her is this because I ask so many questions and she said she reserves the right to do whatever she likes. I am not trying to be a difficult customer; I just thought this situation was handled very unprofessionally. I would only do services with this company if you meet this criteria: · On their time or schedule because their time is way more valuable than yours will ever be. · Don?t ask them any questions about their services, this is also wasting their time · Don?t mentioned the rates that they have posted on their website because they will make you feel as small as they can by explaining ?if you would read the entire website you would understand that those rates are for customer that have agreed to a contact with us. Not a onetime house cleaning?

 + -1 moreVicky and her team were great to deal with - quick responses, very flexible, punctual work, friendly and professional. We were totally happy with the job done, the time it was done in, and the whole process. I think my only issue was that they want to use your vacuum instead of bringing their own, and since I have an old cruddy machine, I'd have either needed to buy a new one or be happy with sub-par suction. I haven't seen that with other cleaning companies (though they do bring their own mops/rags, which some others don't). Again that was my only issue, and it's just because I own a cruddy vacuum. They were great to work with overall and I definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: We had Maid in America do a full house cleaning - we have a decent sized house with two indoor pets, so its a challenge.

 + -1 moreAfter years of working full time and spending my weekends cleaning the house, I finally decided to call a housecleaning service. I was worried about the kind of service I would receive if I just called a company advertised on a card in my mailbox so I used Angie's List. I called Maid in America and 2 other companies. Vickie Bates, the owner of Maid in America, returned my call within an hour of my leaving a message while one of the other companies took 2 days to call back! She was extremely pleasant, explained her services, and encouraged me to view the videos on her web site. She offered a very flexible array of cleaning services and allowed me to split my cleaning so I would have the main level cleaned every 2 weeks and the 2 guest bedrooms & bath (which are rarely used) cleaned once per month. She even has a multiple cleaning discount program! Angel was the gal who cleaned my house today. She arrive right on time, introduced herself, took a brief tour and went right to work. Since I work out of my home, she was careful to be as quiet as a church mouse. I spoke with her briefly after she finished and found her to be very friendly and professional. I'm very picky about my house and Angel did an outstanding job! I'm so excited to finally have my weekends back!!

Description of Work: I NEVER write reviews but Maid in America inspired me to do so after my last encounter with them. Before I go into why, let me say a brief word about the professional side of Maid in America. Before moving to our new home, we used another maid service that sent a team to service my home. While they did a decent job. Maid in America sends 1 technician, usually the same one if scheduling permits, and I can honestly say my home has never been cleaner. It takes a few hours but it is WELL worth it not to mention the fact that they were cheaper than the team i previously used. They have an excellent business model which gives discounts for service over time. But the reason i decided to write a review is because the last time our technician came to our home. My familiarity with her prompted me to engage in our normal friendly conversation as she continued to clean the house. By my own admission, I revealed that my wife and I had recently gone through a personal tragedy and to not disturb her in the bedroom during this cleaning. Without any suggestion by me, our technician immediately contacted Maid in America's CEO Vicky and got permission to offer us that day's cleaning free of charge. If that were not enough we also received a heartfelt letter from Vicky expressing her condolences. Needless to say, I was taken aback by the generosity and kindness. Many companies say thay are Christian organizations, but it is truly nice to see one practice what they preach. Maid in America, like any company, may have its faults but I believe they go above and beyond and deserve the business of anyone who wants superior service and a staff with more in mind than the bottom line. As far as I'm concerned, you won’t go wrong with this company .

 + -1 moreThe actual cleaning was well above average. A number of problems arose in administration and pricing. The ladies who clean are awesome. The owner is somewhat difficult to deal with. She needs to learn that she is in the customer service business, not running an entitlement agency. This made the ratings a bit difficult, so please understand that they a a reflection of combined results.

Every person that has come out for Maid In America has been able to exceed my expectations. They are not in a hurry and don't skip over any aspects of their cleaning lists. I feel like their pricing is very reasonable.

They do high quality work, I come home and everything is spotless, just the way I like it. They do a really good job. Usually it is just one tech that comes to clean, it isn't always the same one. However, the job is always consistently well done.
