Owner said they didn't have to go in front of a tree on my property when contract was made; however when they installed the fence he changed and said they did have to go in front of the tree. That was the main reason I used them because the other companies I got estimates from said they would have to build a box and come In front of the tree. Evidently he wasn't experienced enough to know what he needed to do until he installed it. They were also using less than a full panel of fence where it was visible near the edge of my shed and when I asked why the small panel couldn't go behind the shed where it wasn't visible, the owner copped an attitude and said we can do anything you want. I told him I was asking for an explanation, not an attitude. They moved the small panel behind the shed without any further discussion so it wasn't visible, which means there wasn't a valid reason for it. I also asked the fence to be installed with the lay of the land and it is in most places but there are places with large gaps under The fence. The panel that goes down the side of the tree was installed with a big slant and has left a huge space underneath it. There is also another spot with too much space underneath it. Since my dog can get out, I had to put rocks under the fence to cover the hole but I'll need to get it fixed. $4k is too much to pay for a fence that can't even contain a medium size dog. When the job was completed, the owner wouldn't even get out of his truck to go over the final product and get his check. He sent his employee to do it. He said they did the best they could with the gates without removing some posts. They are better, but I thought they were going to fix the sag. I was finished with them at this point, so will try to find someone to fix the gates and the gaps under the fence. The employees were very nice and I would deal with them again, but I found the owner to be condescending and not very interested in his quality of work.
Description of Work: Contracted to replace 154' wood fence with a vinyl fence, shore up 2 existing vinyl gates that are sagging, and close off the area behind my shed with 4' high aluminum fencing so the dog can't get back there.

When they said they were coming they came and their price was excellent. We had to wait a little bit longer, but he let us know and it was only for a few days. It was excellent work.
Description of Work: Creative Services and Fence Co. installed a new fence. They only had to put up three sections because both of our neighbors have a fence.

I left a message on the office phone, within 1 hour I had a call back from Mark Gillis, and we immediately set a time for him to come out and see the property for a proposal. After he left about 2 hours later I received an e-mail from him with the proposal, I called to confirm, we set a date to get the project started. He and his staff are awesome! They let me know what was going on all the time with the permit, and the start date, with the bad weather and all, he always kept in touch, I did not worry about a thing. The fence looks great. I have 2 large dogs that must be fenced in, and I have no worries with this fence. Mark and his workers are professional, and very nice. I would absolutely use them again!
