Great service! Lloyd came exactly at the appointed time and quickly diagnosed why my sprinkler system was tripping the GFI circuit. He also recommended replacing my inexpensive control module (which had been put in when the house was a rental after foreclosure) with a better, name-brand unit. There was no pressure at all but I took his advice and replaced the unit with one that's much more user-friendly. He also replaced a missing rain sensor and checked out the whole operation of the system and explained the system to me. I'll definitely use this company again.

Lloyd has performed sprinkler adjustments for me multiple times. On every occasion I have been totally satisfied with every aspect of the work, price, etc.

Lloyd provided last minute service late in the day. This is what customer service is all about. He was highly professional and courteous. He took the time to fix my system, provided education and made solid recommendations. He even provided service to a neighbor who saw his truck at my house. He was trying to get home at the end of the day and was extremely nice in providing unscheduled service. He will definitely get my business going forward. Very impressive.

Our irrigation project took two visits and Lloyd was always on time and went the extra mile to make sure our system was operating properly. I did not get estimates from other irrigation companies and hired this company based off Angie's List reviews. Therefore I have to grade his price as "NA".

Lloyd diagnosed and fixed a broken irrigation pipe we had, which was buried underneath a whole bunch of other pipes, deep in the ground. It took him only a matter of minutes; when our landscaping company was unable to find the problem. He was courteous, explained everything to me while he was working, and made sure to check the system before he left. After all of his hard work, digging deep into our ground and having to find the break, I was impressed with the cost. He was very professional, polite, had a lot of expertise, and cleaned up after his work. We were so impressed with him, we immediately hired him for a second job only a few days later to remove our old wire rain sensor (which was no longer working due to gutter installation) and replaced it with a wireless rain sensor. Lloyd arrived early and started working. He took extra care on the job and made sure to not only place the sensor in the best possible location but walked us through it when he was done. I appreciate that he doesn't drag the work out but does it in a timely manner and does an excellent job. We will definitely use him again, without hesitation; and highly recommend The Lawn MD!

I paid for Sprinkler Tune-Up because I knew I needed at least one sprinkler head replaced and a possible leak checked in an area near the fence. I had had a section of fence replaced a few days earlier, and during that process the sprinkler pipe had been disturbed. The Lawn MD owner came early, replaced the head, checked my system, found the leak near the fence and repaired it quickly. He also made recommendations about my old sprinkler timer and rain gauge, and gave me an estimate for replacing those components in the future. I was perfectly happy with that part. However, he did not thoroughly check the system and each head in the "Tune Up". A few days later I discovered another bad sprinkler rotor in the landscape near the back of my property. This is not in a place where a mower could have hit it after his visit; he just didn't go to the edges of the property to find all the heads. I will replace this one myself. Despite that small disappointment, I would probably call this provider again, as he was polite and punctual and did a good job on the repair.

The provider was quick to respond to our request. Lloyd gave us honest answers and recommendations for each sprinkler head and each of the 4 zones. He did not do anything that would have been an easy 5 minute fix for us. He repaired everything we asked.

I recently noticed a medium-sized hole in the front garden of my home that I thought had been created by an Armadillo. I filled the hole multiple times and it kept re-appearing. While checking the irrigation system, I noticed the hole immediately open and fill with water. The sprinkler zone that controlled the front garden was disabled until I could contact an irrigation contractor to identify and repair the leak. I attempted to contact at least three separate irrigation contractors by phone, email, and direct messenger on their own websites and did not receive a single reply. I will not do business with a Company that does not communicate with their Customers. I joined Angie's List and located The Lawn MD. I contacted the Lawn MD through Angie's List and explained my situation. My message was answered within two hours and an appointment was scheduled for the following week. Today, Lloyd arrived to my home on time and quickly located and repaired the dime-sized hole in my irrigation line. Lloyd also gave me some helpful tips on the irrigation system while waiting for the glue to dry on the repair. Lloyd was professional and efficient in his work, and I would highly recommend him.

Even though their schedule was full for the day, arrangements were made to work me in. Lloyd was very pleasant, helpful and competent. He worked fast and efficiently, replaced the valve, tested the system and cleaned up nicely returning the dirt and mulch to look nice. His wife who answers the phone was also very pleasant and helpful, doing her best to help in the situation .Very friendly, service oriented, professionally run company. I will be recommending this company to whomever buys my house.

Lance was thoughtful, analytical and thorough. As I said, I had over the years, utilized two other highly recommended Angie's List companies. I did not bother writing reviews for either of them as my sprinkler system clogging issues kept returning. It has been one month since the Lawn MD did the work, and, so far, so good. Plus, this company offers a one year warranty. I love warranties!! Finally, Lance was RIGHT ON when he gave me his quote. His invoice was very detailed (love details) and broke out the cost of every part used, together with a discription of each part! Wow! That was a first! Finally the labor amounted to less than 25% of the total invoice, AND, he gave me a coupon discount of $25! (I love coupons). I purchased the Sprinkler System tune up special in order to have an expert's opinion concerning my sprinkler system which had been malfunctioning due to a very outdated timer and rain sensor. Lloyd was right on time, very professional and very knowledgeable. He was a pleasure to work with as he examined the sprinkler system and offered solutions. During his visit, he was able to install a brand new timer console and a wireless rain sensor in addition to replacing a few broken sprinkler heads, relocating a sprinkler head and upgrading a few others. We were very happy he was able to accommodate all these updates during his visit and are very confident this new revamp will ensure our lawn receives the watering it needs in order to continue looking its best! We will definitely contact him for anything related to our sprinkler system in the future. It was a true pleasure dealing with him and his wife. During a follow-up call we made to the office, we were treated with a warm and cheerful reception and Lloyd called us back within 5 minutes, which speaks volume of their diligence and commitment to excellent customer service! :o) Thank you, Lloyd! :o)

Lloyd arrived at the time promised and replaced the broken timer box quickly. He also added a rain sensor mechanism so now we don't have to manually turn off the timer when it rained. Lloyd was very knowledgeable and professional. We are planning on using Lawn MD for our annual sprinkler system check and any other lawn care issues that come up.

They did a good job. There was not a lot that needed to be done as the control was worn out. We ended up replacing the control for the sprinkler system. The technician did a good job and we talked about adding some additional pipes in one area of the yard. He said he would talk to his boss on a price and I never heard from them on that again. I did think the job was well done other than that. I would have had them do the additional work if they came back with a decent price.

They were timely and did it quickly. They fixed what we needed fixed.

I have had "Lawn MD" out to my house a few different times, and the experience has always been positive. Recently my wife had chanaged the front yard adding lillies up the front walk way. And, between the kids and the lawn mower a few of the sprinklers were damaged, and spraying the wrong way. Lloyd came out to the house, and arrived right when he said he would. He turned on the water, and walked around to get a good idea of what needed to be fixed, and changed to water the new plants. He gave me an written estimate as said he could do the work that day. A few sprinklers were adjusted, two repaired, and two new ones were put in to water the front plants. He checked his work, and asked my wife to come out and make sure she thought the right amount of water was reaching her plants. It would have taken me half a Saturday and probably 1/2 the amount he charged for me to purchase the new sprinklers and parts at the hardware store. We are very pleased with the work.

Lloyd went above and beyond the original tune-up. I was afraid that we were going to have to dig up our new sod, but Lloyd worked miracles and was able to get each of the zones up and running smoothly. Very professional, explained everything. Wonderful job!

I have nothing but praise for this company, as all previous reviews state. An upstanding man and company that we will recommend to everyone. In fact, on the spur of the moment, he fixed my neighbor's problem after he was done with our system.

Scheduling was simple and efficient, Lloyd arrived on time was professional, polite and clearly knowledgeable. His fee was reasonable. In my experience, this field has its share of rip off artists. Not so with Dr. Lloyd.

He came out and was fine. I was hoping that he would find something wrong with my irrigation system, but he felt everything was okay. He was a nice guy, and everything seemed to go all right. I thought it was weird that he didn't make any adjustments, and my lawn people came and made some adjustments which helped. Maybe he could have done something more. I wish he would have done more.

Despite very messy conditions from a persistent leak he found the leak and reapired it. It proved to be a leak in the main service. He responded immediately despite not being an existing customer, I did identify myself as finding the company on Angie's List. He worked persistently and solved my problem. He also gave helpful instruction with regards to the main which is curb side rather than in the house. Highly regard the expertise and attention to my problem. This was important as the leak was adversely affecting my neighbors property too.

I initially contacted Lawn MD to check my system after noticing some issues with coverage and an unexplained increase in my irrigation water usage. In short order he reviewed my problems and found an underground leak. Lloyd arrived in a marked truck stocked with all the necessary equipment. He provided recommendation and up front pricing. He performed quality repairs, made adjustments to the entire system, and gave me recommendations for future improvements. Lawn MD is the best irrigation professional that I have found and I call him whenever I need help with my system.

It appears that our 1927 home has several issues that might be causing the leak. Seems that we have another set of pipes located under our newly installed brick driveway. He was thorough, informative, and exhausted every avenue he had within his power to solve our problem.
