I live in Ohio and researched vehicle transport companies for my son in California. A lot of the companies seemed shady and their reviews reflected as such. I called a few other companies before feeling comfortable after talking with Rachel from Executive Auto Shippers LLC. The cost to ship from other companies ranged from $750 to $1300. I choose EAS LLC because of their reviews on Consumer Affairs. They also offered and honored the military discount unlike other companies. This is the first time that I or my son used a transport company and I now have their number locked in my phone. I do suggest that if you are looking to ship your vehicle to do your research at least 2 weeks in advance. Most companies will need time to find an available driver and I was on the border line because we needed the vehicle shipped on the 12th and EAS gives a date range as to when your vehicle will be picked up. Our driver was awesome and vehicle was picked up on the 12th (same day my son left for Texas). My son initial plan was to fly to San Angelo and at the last minute he choose to carpool with a fellow serviceman. My son had to find a friend to give the key to the driver for vehicle pickup. My son and his friend then decided to spend extra time in San Antonio which caused my son to miss meeting the driver in San Angelo for delivery of vehicle. But my son informed the driver and they agreed that instead of dropping off vehicle at the base, he dropped it off at a Walmart. Driver texted my son photos of the parked vehicle and I paid the driver via Chase Pay through Chase Bank; which is an instant payment or transfer of funds. I texted the driver a screenshot of Chase Pay completed transaction. My son arrived in San Angelo the day after vehicle arrived to find his vehicle intact. All went well....Happy Customers!

The transfer went fairly well. There were some issues with scheduling but we got it figured out after many calls back and forth. Other than the scheduling issues, the service went well and the cars were delivered in perfect condition. The workers were pleasant and courteous.

This company was very professional, did what they said they would at a reasonable price. We contracted on Friday August 4. The vehicle was picked up on August 8 and delivered on August 9. We were kept informed at each stage of the transport process from pickup to delivery. The shop I had it transported to was even impressed as the transport driver delivered my vehicle right into his bay. I recommend this company.
Description of Work: We had rod break in the engine of our conversion van rendering it undriveable. We had to have it transported from South Carolina to Ohio.

It went smoothly . Driver was very professional. Called me in Phoenix when he was several hours away and was able to pick Van up at house. When he was several hour from Columbus called to give a heads up and then again 30 minutes befor arrival to set a pick up point several blocks away.

It was a most efficient and painless experience.
Description of Work: We needed a car moved from Silver Spring, MD to Denver ,CO. We referenced Angie's list and identified Executive Auto shippers because they were headquartered in Aurora, CO.We received five bids and discussed our preferences with all. While they were not the least expensive, we determined Executive to be the best and were not disappointed. They were professional and courteous. The driver was on time to the meeting loading point. He was very knowledgeable about hauling and securing the car. The car arrive on time as projected by Melissa, who is their most efficient Executive Shippers administrative staff person. They are a top notch organization. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for their first hauling experience.

With some of the horror stories I read from other reviewers about different providers, I was happy to find Executive Auto Transport. Everything worked out great. It is kind of a funny service where you have to have range of dates for the transport but that is the nature of this kind of service and it all worked out.

I read a lot of things online about shady car shippers but went with Executive because of the good reviews. Those reviews were accurate! They were very punctual, picked up the car and delivered it with no problems. They actually delivered it a couple of days early. Everybody was friendly and professional and we have no complaints! We'd definitely recommend this company. It was about $200 more expensive than competitors, but the extra cost was worth it for the headache-free service.

There was so much about this job that did not go as I would have hoped. The company was very responsive and got right back to me with a quote. All their quote paperwork says they accept credit cards, so when I went to pay for the shipping they informed me that to use a credit card it would cost an extra $100. They had the most reviews and the best ratings on Angie's list, so I went ahead, even though I personally find that to be a very deceptive business practice. By way of information, after dealing with several poor scheduling issues, what I found out was that when they take these jobs, this company isn't actually shipping the cars - they are just schedulers, and they put your job and wait for an actual transporter/driver to pick it up - one going your route. This is a busy time of year, and I get that some patience is necessary, but it was one thing after another with this company. They got us scheduled right away and things were going well, but the day the van was scheduled to be picked up - nothing. No phone call. Nothing. Finally at 10 or 11 pm at night, the after hours person said, just go to bed. The next day we learned that the shipper broke down, but didn't let anyone know and wouldn't answer his phone. I get breaking down, but some communication (any communication) would be great. Executive said that they tried to get a hold of him, but they couldn't, so I was just left hanging. They said they would give this driver bad feedback, but as far as I'm concerned, that does nothing for me. As we are working on this, they tell me they have someone who can do my job the following Sunday. Great. Let's get it scheduled. They say if that doesn't work out the same "five star" company can ship me Tuesday. This sounds great too. At this point I'm still feeling understanding. Turns out, they can't ship me on Sunday because the guy doesn't have room for a van, just a car. The communication is killing me here. My job was a van the whole time, but no one was careful enough to check specifics. And now Tuesday isn't going to work out either. So they tell me they are going to work on my job all weekend and get something scheduled. Nothing. Monday morning I call and get told that nothing is working out. Once again, there is some frustration here - poorly managed expectations, a lack of communication and a real lack of concern for this job. I'm told the owner is going to get involved, but I need to realize that this is how it is in this industry. So they get me scheduled, and finally we have an actual driver. He gives the 2 hours window, but then he's late and he doesn't show up until midnight!!!!! Midnight. What can I do? I can't tell him to come back at a better time - if I did that my van might never get shipped. On the delivery end I'm told the driver will give me two hours notice when he will be near me, so I can make arrangements to pick up my car. The dispatch said the car would arrive sometime after noon. Great. At 5 pm I call the check on my car. Dispatch says he's five minutes away. This is just so unprofessional. I go to meet the guy, he's lost his pen. He makes me wait while he looks for one and then finally I find one in my car, sign my paperwork and he asks if he can keep my pen. LOL. I cannot make this stuff up. The only reason they get a D instead of an F is that I got my car. But customer service, making things right for the client, timliness - these do not exist. When you call, frustrated, trying to get things resolved, and the only answer is "this is how it is in this industry," you know you're not dealing with someone who cares about their reputation. Had I not been so far into dealing with this company I would have looked for someone else to do the job. I did get my car, but the angst and frustration would have me giving another company a try.

We're sorry to hear that your shipment did not meet your expectations. We do accept credit cards, but typically for the deposit amount only. Most carriers prefer receiving payment in the form of cash or certified funds. The majority of the carriers we work with are owner-operators. This means they are a one-person operation and don't have a formal office with a billing department or a way to easily handle receivables. This makes the additional paperwork that comes with a billing shipment from a credit card difficult for them to process. The other reason that carriers prefer a certified funds payment method is to cover on the road expenses. This is why we say in our initial quote that we can accept credit cards for the deposit and the rest will be due to the driver upon vehicle delivery. The $100 fee is passed along to the carriers for processing the credit card payment. The system we use for scheduling is an industry-wide tool, but we are more thorough in our selection of who we choose to ship our customer's vehicles. We check every carrier's insurance and authority every time we use them and request to be put on their insurance to make sure we are notified of any changes. We also have an in-house rating system for our carriers. We are disappointed that our carrier did not meet our standards by having very poor communication as well as delivering much later than originally scheduled. When we reach out to our carriers, we also make sure they are fully aware of all details of the shipment, including the type of vehicle we are shipping. We will be removing this carrier from our approved carrier network to prevent future issues and also issuing reviews through our industry professional networks. Although we do care about our reputation, we care more about our customer's satisfaction. We work very hard to meet and exceed our customer's' expectations and strive to provide the best service possible.

It went great. I found the company on Angie's List and I emailed inquiring about transporting my SUV. They sent me an email back with a bid. I accepted the bid and then I had to wait until they called and emailed me on the exact time of pick-up. When it was getting close to my original pick-up date, they communicated with me that they were still waiting for someone to pick the ticket up. When someone did pick the ticket up, I got a phone call and an email with the name of the Transport company, their phone number and a time range. At that point I began to communicate with the company that would actually do the transport. They arrived much later than their original planned time range but they did a good job of communicating this to me. When they arrived, they looked the vehicle over, we signed papers and then they loaded the vehicle. They picked up the vehicle on a Friday and on Monday my vehicle was at the final destination.

Executive Auto Shippers were professional and very easy to work with. My contact, Rachel, explained the whole process and kept me informed through phone calls and email - she was great. The car was delivered right to my house and looks to be in the same condition as when it was picked up. I agonized over which company to hire to transport the car and I'm so relieved I chose Executive Auto Shippers. Received 6 hours of notice for car pick up. The car was damaged in transit and they mediated the claim. The staff are difficult to get into contact with and do not follow up when they say they will and only occasionally follow up with communication attempts. It took an average of 3 emails and 1 or 2 phone calls to get a response to anything.
Description of Work: Hired to move a car across the country. They give 3 business day pick up windows which they will not guarantee which makes buying a plane ticket difficult, especially if you have to be present for both the pick up and drop off.

We're sorry that you didn't feel your shipping experience met your expectations. We inform our drivers to give notice either the evening before or the morning of the day they are able to pick up your vehicle. This is because they usually don't know their schedule until the night before once they've finished any pick ups or deliveries that day. This is also the same reason we can't guarantee a pick up day, because sometimes drivers are delayed by a late customer, issues with traffic, or otherwise. We do our best to keep you up-to-date on your schedule as it falls into place, and sometimes it's a matter of finding a qualified carrier that is in your area going to or near your destination. We also don't schedule too far in advance in case the carrier's schedule changes last minute and then we have to regroup. Since your shipment was taking place near a holiday weekend, it can be more difficult to find a carrier who's available since many try to take the time off to spend with their families. We show that we were able to find a driver and schedule the pick up on your first available day. We do ask that someone is available for pick up and delivery since the driver does an inspection on both ends. Although we would prefer it to be the vehicle's owner, if that is not possible we do recommend that you ask a trusted friend, neighbor, real estate agent, or similar if they can help. We do see the carrier sent a check for the damages on July 14th and that you acknowledged on the 26th that you'd received it. We do apologize for the short notice and normally do try to supply a schedule at least one day in advance. Hundreds of vehicles pass the nation everyday incident free, and we are sorry you had a damage claim. I know that claim has been resolved in a very timely fashion. We do speak to customers daily and know that moving cross country as you did can definitely be a stressful time. We hope that you are getting settled in and enjoy your new environment.

The pickup was arranged punctually. The transporter that Executive arranged was excellent. The driver was friendly and helpful. He even tweaked the drop-off to make it more convenient for us in California. The price might've been a bit higher than others would charge, I don't know, but the delivery window was narrow. Everything got done within six days.
