It went well, David came out on a Sunday to complete the work which means I did not have to take time off from work. He got there on time, completed the job quickly and then cleaned after himself. Overall it was a great experience.

David was excellent. He demonstrated a great deal of expertise and was very professional. He arrived within the agreed-upon timeframe and quickly replaced our circuit breakers and checked our outlets. Since he finished ahead of schedule he also helped us remove an unwanted alarm system and answered some questions we had about the electrical system in our home. Moreover, he didn't try to sell us things we don't need, which is something we experienced with other electricians in the past. We will definitely hire David for future electrical needs.

DOT electric did not make my appointment due to some confusion with my address. However, they and Angies List promptly issued my refund upon request.

David was very professional & knowledgeable. I was very nervous about finding an electrician but this turned out to be a great experience. He was punctual and informative during the time of service. He provided me options and estimates of each options when it came to what I wanted to do. He informed me of the proper way to fix things, how long the fix would last with each option , the estimated costs, and was very upfront about what was best. He seemed honest and very upfront with all costs as he went along. I wanted to give him his space, so I sat in the living room while he worked on my kitchen next to me, but he called me over to show me all the problems he found and gave me and explanation of how it was going to be fixed. I just want to say , you should have cash or check because their is a fee for using your credit/debit card. He did waive the fee this once because it would have been a hassle to get cash and I did not have my check book at hand.

David was very friendly and professional. Arrived 15 minutes early on my request and finished the work in about 75 minutes. Explained options for each task and his recommendation. Checked all wall outlets in Kitchen and all bathrooms for safety. He even used wall patch stuff he has, to patch two holes from a old light fixture in Kitchen. Over all seemingly a nice, knowledgeble and honest professional, who are rare to find now a days.

He was on time and did everything he promised.

Very satisfied and will definitely use DOT Electric again. I was looking for an electrician with whom I could establish a long-term relationship and could count on to check the electric in this older house that I recently purchased. I knew there were issues. I found that with DOT. He was very knowledgeable and shared some future recommendations.

I originally purchased recessed light fixtures, trims, and light bulbs for a DIY install, but then realized the job was a bit beyond my experience and skill level. I contacted David to install the lights and wiring, and I'm glad that I did. He called to let me know he was on his way, and arrived at my house right on time. He was very courteous, and kept the job site (my living room) very clean. He listened when I told him what I was looking for with the install, and explained things as he went along. Very professional, very knowledgeable.

David was very professional and clean. He came with all his tools ready for work. He's very personable and explains what he's doing so that there are n misunderstandings. He stated that his goal was for me to make him my number one electrician and he obtained that goal.

He was very prompt and called ahead to give us a timetable, knew exactly what to do with the fan on/off problem we were having that we couldn't figure out, and installed a new fan after analyzing the electrical connection to the fan to make sure all was ok. It was nice to have someone come out who knew what he was doing!

The job was approximately 5 hours. Very nice, arrived early, and explained work being done in a manner I could understand. Will definitely use again.

David arrived on time and completed a few electrical jobs I needed done. Installed 2 Flat screen TV mounts and installed bathroom light. He was very professional and did an excellent job. Will us again in the future.

It went GREAT!!! I was a little worried that I might have a problem with the wiring to the fan. David was kind enough to come the day I called him! I had purchased a $99 Angie's List Deal for 2 hours of electrical work. David arrived the minute he said he would come. He worked so quickly and efficiently he was done in just one hour! He checked the wiring to assure me it was safe, and put the new fan and lights together in a jiffy. He had everything he needed with him. David was friendly and very competent. He really knows what he is doing! I had bought a second new smoke alarm to install on the second floor. David explained how it was inadequate and suggested I return it for a better model. To put the cherry on the cake, he asked me to call him back when I have the correct alarm and promised to complete that replacement without charge, as a part of the original deal. I feel very comfortable about the safety of the work David did for me. As a new widow, I have to learn about things my husband always took care of. It was very reassuring to me to see how skilled David is. I would recommend him without hesitation. I could not be more pleased!

David from DOT electric came out to my house to hang a flatscreen in my sons room. He also added an electrical outlet for the T.V. from the attic. My son loves his new T.V. and is enjoying playing his XBOX! David did a beautiful job! David also upgraded an outside outlet by correcting the wiring and by putting in new pipes. It looks so much more cleaner and operates perfectly now. I will never let a handyman do any electrical work again in my house. Only a electrician like David from now on. Thank you again David.

He want over his time by 20 minutes and did not charge me any extra ( not like the last company i have used that could not even fix it all) .

Everything was great. He had all the tools and parts needed for the job in his truck. We were pleased with the price for our new and convenient to use porch light switch. The next time that DOT Electric is in Tallahasse, FL on business, we have another home improvement on our wish list...... yard lights.
