Would not recommend this company unless you like 1) bait-and-switch pricing, 2) changing rules mid-stream, 3) ZERO customer service, 4) putting off your delivery until the last possible moment before going to the state attorney general, and 5) having several items broken. 1) Bait-and-switch pricing. We did a virtual tour of the home covering every room with the sales rep Luke Mandly. The first estimate was $3,200. We told him it was too low. He came back with an estimate of $3,800. When the moving crew arrived at our home, the crew chief estimated the move at $7,300! We were floored. How does a company underestimate by almost 50%? Well, the crew said it happens all the time (Code: standard operating procedure). They gotcha! (it is moving day, you are on a schedule and they say they want 50% more?). After a back and forth with the Manager at the home office, Mike Stockbridge, he agreed to take $1,000 off. 2) Changing rules midstream. I paid a deposit, then more money when Safebound picked up my belongings, then more money before they unloaded their truck at my residence. All three were paid by debit card. When I paid my initial deposit, I told Mandly, I did not want to be charged the 4% credit card fee since it was a debit card. He agreed to waive the fee. When it came time to make payments # 2 and 3, Stockbridge would not waive the 4% fee. After calling him several times, I finally gave up in frustration (Gotcha!). 3) ZERO customer service. The company has a customer service phone number, but it is useless. It is an automated voicemail with a couple of extensions. No one actually answers the phone, it goes to voicemail and no one calls you back. Imagine, you are moving, trying to set your travel plans (plane tickets and/or drive time and/or hotels) and they are not professional or courteous enough to return your calls. 4) Putting off your delivery until the last possible moment. According to the agreement, they have 14 days after pickup to deliver your items. Well, they took the full 14 days. In the meantime, I am extending my hotel stay not once or twice but three times. And of course, during the hotel stay, I would call and leave messages with no return call. I actually asked Mandly before paying the deposit if my belongings were going to their warehouse in south Florida and sit there for an extended period of time, and he said of course not. 5) Several items were broken. Three boxes were damaged and had been resealed. The items inside were damaged beyond repair. It was obvious that while in the possession of the company after the initial pickup, the boxes had been dropped/damaged during loading and/or unloading at their warehouse before being reloaded into another truck for the final delivery. In summary, the $1,000 *discount* was more than eaten up by the 4% card fee, the additional costs of hotel and meals, and the broken items. Just remember: Once your initial deposit is paid, you lose all your leverage because they Gotcha!

I have used Safebound to move my belongings in Florida multiple times. My primary contact was and always has been Mr. Carvalho. His professionalism and punctuality on all of the moves he took care of for me was simply remarkable. I also use Safebound with all my key people who work for me across our country. He always calls people back, follows up, follows through, shows he cares and does what you ask! This is Safebound to me and Mr. Carvalho sets this example so well. Safebound will always be my first call when a move is needed by me or any of my companies. Thank you, Frank! NOTE: I cannot remember all of the movers' names but their care and courtesies were always evident and much appreciated. Thank you all!!

These guys were quick efficient and organized.

Worst moving company we have ever experienced. They did a cross-country move via a brokered arrangement (which we did not know about ahead of time, red flag). Although conducted a FaceTime quote to see entire apartment, and we selected this company based on that quote, they arrived 6pm (!) on the night before move-out and demanded a 150% increase on price based on information that should have already been known (number of rooms/items) -- what choice do you have under that sort of duress? Furthermore, charged over $1500 in packing supplies and some new extra distance fee, all things that were already known at the time of quote -- just bonkers. Workers bothered entire apartment complex being loud and mask-less until 3 am. Workers were in terrible condition, none brought water or food and seemed to have not slept for days. Other end, same story - zero professionalism (dozens of stories not enough time to share them all), nobody brought even a utility knife to unbox or unwrap and had to borrow from us (and we had to ask where it was before they left, it was about to be stolen), they left mounds of plastic strewn around and did not even finish unpacking before leaving. Many items scratched and dinged. Extremely expensive, not worth it at all, better off just putting up an ad on Craigslist. SCAM in every sense. We did not even directly contract with the actual moving company that we worked with (ProSmart) and were passed off to them by Safebound Moving and Storage unbeknownst to us. Extremely unethical companies, both of them. Only hope is even just one person that can read and benefit from this and avoid any business to a terrible organization.

The staff was friendly and easy to work with over the phone. Booking went by fast and the prices were pretty reasonable. I would recommend this company for your moving needs.

Excellent Experience it has been with Safebound Moving. Upon delivery we had no damage. I recommend this team and would use this team again without hesitation. I love the way how they handled my move. Love their services. Recommended.

Pick up was delayed. I had a flight out the day of pickup. Had to have neighbors be there. After my pickup, they took my shipment to their warehouse and lost several boxes and had a desk sit in water warping it It fell apart. They also broke 2 TVs. Worse experience.

I did a video call with Luke who gave me a quote after seeing the items we would be packing for our move. Everything sounded great to me and the customer service was excellent so we hired the company. Unfortunately for my husband and I, when the movers arrived, we were charged an $1200 more than what we were quoted even though the items packed and furniture was exactly what we had listed on the contract we signed (Luke had even listed a few of the items that we told him we would be getting rid of). I called right away to get answers and they handled the situation horribly.This company is a scam. We haven't received our household goods yet and after thoroughly reading the reviews online and seeing how we were treated along with their BBB score of an F, I really regret hiring them and I am praying we receive all of our belongings in tact, with no more surprises. Calling the BBB on Monday.

I hired Safebound on a weeks notice and they were very helpful and got me packed and moved out of state, when I called to have them deliver my furniture, they had t=it to me within a week. I would highly recommend them.

Safebound Movers are the worst moving experience I have ever had. Quoted one price, then driver arrived dayvof move and insisted on higher price, lost furniture, damaged belongings, unable to assemble 3 beds, unresponsive to my concerns. The move was only 3 hours from Bradenton to Miami. I would not recommend them!!

This company jacked the original estimate from $1700 to $3000 the day of the move. I knew it might be higher but a studio apartment? No appliances, no dresser, just queen bed, about 20 boxes? I got them down to $2600. And they gave us 30 days of free storage. I got in touch with the company around Oct 20 to make arrangements to move and from that point forward, absolutely no communication. I sent emails, made phone calls all I got were promises. Today, 11/16/20 I called and got a very rude customer service person, who would not listen to me, talking over me. She left me on hold for 20 mins, then came back and said it is on its way. Which is great, but, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I must say, make sure you read the contract. I moved some household furniture and boxes from Florida to Houston. The front office is extremely rude. When my truck arrived they said they could not deliver to the apartment because of the low wires. So, I had to pay another $500 for them to rent a smaller truck and deliver my shipment. I did not realize this until they were here. So, I was forced to pay the extra $500. When I called the front office about the low wires they were abrasive and said that it was not their fault that they could not access the house with the low wires. They are a logistics company. I would never use them again. terrible customer service. A very arrogant logistics company. I would never use them again. terrible customer service. very arrogant.

Safebound Moving arrived a few minutes early and were professional and efficient. All of my things were carefully delivered. Overall very happy with Safebound Moving especially as I had never used a moving company before, and I would definitely recommend them to all.

I have used Safebound Moving twice and they have been fantastic about moving me taking care of my furniture and items setting things up like I want. I will be using them again on my next move. They are punctual they are real good responsive the quality of their service is awesome thank you Safebound Moving. I will see you again.

Everything was smooth and seamless. Best experience I have ever had. It was the first time we had utilized a professional moving company. They tell you upfront what you should expect. They take precautions so no damage can be occurred. They are highly professional and I really enjoyed their service. First class service.

Professional respectful and worth every penny. They arrived when they said they would were cautious with heavy furniture and they moved fast. Would use again with no hesitation. They are the best. I highly recommend these guys.

Careful with the heavy stuff. Used lots of plastic wrap to keep dresser drawers shelves etc from moving around. All business when working and pleasant. A good value all around. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

Used this company to move homes and they were amazing. Got the moving done in under 3 hours and nothing was damaged. The movers were professional and polite. I moved into a 4 story home and they didnt complain once.

We had a great experience from start to end they were professionals and were accommodating with all my requests. I would highly recommend them and will definitely plan to use them again. They are best.
